The gladiator sandals...

I have been looking for gladiator sandals for a while. Since they are a trendy item, I didn't want to spend too much in a pair. Checking out Prima Donna, I realized they have so many gladiator sandals, and all under $30. I like that these had adjustable buckles on the side so I could adjust a little bit the width of the sandal. I have many ideas on how to wear them but this time I paired the with a white dress, a red bag, and one of my favorite hats.

Some tips when wearing gladiator sandals:

- First of all, if you are going to be outdoors, wear SUNSCREEN! Unless you want to have some wear tan lines on your legs.

- If your legs and short or wide, look for low gladiator sandals in a nude color. That way you do not cut your leg even more.

- If you want to wear a tall gladiator sandal like these but your legs are very skinny; take them to a local shoe repair shop and they have easily customize them to fit you.

- This shoes go together with bohemia styles; pair them with fringe, tribal prints, lace, denim shorts, kimonos, boho hats, etc

Llevaba muchísimo tiempo buscando unas sandalias estilo gladiador. Como son una pieza de tendencia, no quería gastar mucho en este modelo. Finalmente encontré que Prima Donna tiene una gran variedad de gladiadoras y no pasan los $30- opté por una que se pudiese ajustar el ancho. Tengo varias ideas de como combinarlas pero esta vez la pueden ver con un vestido blanco sencillo, una cartera roja y uno de mis sombreros favoritos.

Algunos tips al usar este tipo de sandalias:

-Lo primero es que si vas a estar mucho tiempo en el sol, no olvides aplicar protector solar. De lo contrario, puedes quedar con un bronceado un poco extravagante en tus piernas.

- Si tienes las piernas cortas o anchas, busca un modelo más bajito y de color nude para evitar que este modelo corte aún más tus piernas.

- Si quieres usar un modelo como este pero tienes las piernas muy delgadas, llévalas a un zapatero y te las pueden ajustar por un precio muy económico

- Estas sandalias le dan un toque bohemio a tu look: combínalo con flecos, estampados tribales, shorts, kimonos, sombreros, etc.
