You must be bored about me talking about my birthday again! I love birthdays and I promised I will show you my gifts from my parents, boyfriend and friends. Above you can see the birthday card I got, I thought it was SO cool! It comes on a regular envelope but when you open it, it becomes 3D box with "balloons" and everything! I love cards, I keep them all in a little box and I love to read them from time to time! More pics below!

:)I love timeless pieces like this white blouse, dark-rinse jeans, and a classic bag- but I also wanted to spice it up a little with this GORGEOUS necklace and leopard pumps. BTW I have a couple of surprises that include two giveaways- one for this Pop of Chic necklace and .. a bag! I wore this on Friday to eat with my family and then I changed my heels to leopard flats to shop for my 80s party. If you haven't seen my 80s outfit, click here. I hope you had an amazing weekend! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO

Gracias por pasar por el blog!!Even though I have a couple of pics to post from this week- I couldn't wait and I really wanted to show you the pics from my bday party yesterday. As I told you previously, I love themed parties- specially on my bday because people are more prone to get dress up. Also, I love the 80s; I was born in 1988 so I don't remember absolutely anything from that decade- but I love the tackiness of the time; the big hair, colorful makeup, over-the-top clothing. About 90% of my friends dressed up, and it was so cool to see a lot of characters from the 80s: the Madonna, the Miami Vice duo, the Jane Fonda crew with their exercise gear, a rapper, etc. I had so much fun and I hope you enjoy the pics below! About my outfit: the past two weeks were so hectic that I wasn't able to get my "costume" until the day of the party. I went to my favorite thrift store and found this amazing (never worn) jacket for $30- it's gorgeous, and so heavy because of the sequins. And I also found these pointed shoes (very 80s) for $3 and they were in perfect condition! Finally, I added some clip ons from that time (originally my mom's) and a tight dress from forever 21 that I got years ago. Did you like it? XOXO

A couple of weeks ago, Pantene invited me- and two bloggers more (Jeannette de Todo Bebe y Marines de Aol Latino) to be hair models for a series of videos for Pantene's Facebook. At first I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it because I had class all day- but I decided to skip it so I wouldn't miss the experience. When I got there, I was the last one- they were already ready all dolled up. After eating a couple of snacks, I was ready to get my hair done. The first look were soft waves- very Kim Kardashian (I specially loved having all the rollers in my hair); the second was a "wet look" with a low bun (since it was more of nighttime, I changed my lipstick to my favorite red "Covergirl 305 HOT). At first I had no idea what to do in front of the camera, I felt awkward just smiling there. It was so much fun- models have it so easy, they just need to show up and look pretty! I'll share the videos as soon as they post them! Have a great weekend! XOXO

I have to admit that I wore this outfit twice this week because the first time I wasn't able to take pictures and I really wanted to show how casual and comfy this look is. The first time I wore it to a dog park at Coconut Grove- gaby (my bf) took amazing pics of the dogs playing around! Then, I wore it for a couple of hours to go to school and to exchange one of my bday gifts (since it was a little big on me). Oh btw.. let me know if you like the idea of a quick post showing my bday gifts (my dad gave the coolest leather jacket ever.. I don't even know how he find it at H&M). It's almost FRIDAY... have an amazing weekend! XOXO

Un abrazo grandÃsimo!!1.How the leopard got its spots 2. Wearing tennis shoes 3.A leopard with stripes 4. Wearing jeans again 5.Let's RUN the RUNWAY 6.Leopard scarf 7.Wearing a maxi skirt

Previous Remixes: Remixes previos:

Which one is your favorite?
¿Cúal es tu favorito?
One of the classes I'm taking this quarter is "Styling"- and the professor told us to organize out closet as homework (which I really needed, my closet was a completely disaster). I took this opportunity to give it an extreme makeover (you can actually see how it look before by clicking HERE). As you can see in the picture above, I have my tops/ blazers organized by style on the top rack and short dresses on the lower rack. On the sides I have my jeans and skirts folded and I hanged coats/long dresses. At the top, I put all my luggage, boxes, and some of my purses. ** MORE PICS BELOW**

I just wanted to post a quick outfit before my bday- even though I have class the whole day, I'll try to take some pics; specially of the weekend because I'm having an 80s theme party. If you know of any tutorial on how to get a fake perm or something like that, please let me know! This time I wanted to paired this long cardigan with simple pieces like vintage shorts and white top. I wore it to go thrift store shopping for my 80s outfit. As you can see on the pics below, I was trying out how it looked with/without the hat.. how do you like it better? Also, isn't the bag gorgeous? I have been wearing it non-stop! Finally, I just wanted to thank everyone for visiting my blog and making my 22's so amazing! XOXO

I didn't post this outfit before because I didn't want to bore you with another asymmetric dress- but I really love them, and the best part is that you can take them to the seamstress to make them super simple. This time I wanted to add my face knitted sweater (which you have seen so many times already), loved that this gives the illusion that I'm wearing a skirt instead. Later that day I headed to Furor's anniversary, where I met two super sweet readers- but I made a slight change to the outfit- I took off the sweater (don't worry that I'm sure you'll see it like that too). Have great weekend girls!!

I do not know why I've been obsessed with hats lately- when I was little my mom loved putting them on me, so I started hating them at a young age... but lately, I love them. Last week when I met Flor, she was wearing a similar black hat and I found it on Forever 21 yesterday. This time I paired my leather shorts with a cropped polka dot top to go to eat and walk around in Miami Beach. I don't know what was going on there but we spent more time in traffic trying to get in and out of there than actually eating. When the sun went down, it got a little cold- thankfully I had a little jacket in the car. Oh, I forgot on the last post to tell you about my ring: I really wanted to get the YSL arty ring but the $250-price was completely out of my budget. Someone posted on my Facebook a link to an Ebay listing with a similar looking ring for... just $3- I even got it in two colors! (Here's the link in case you want to check it out: http://bit.ly/ps79C9). Thanks for stopping by ! XOXO

The past few days, the weather has been amazing in Miami- not even one cloud in the sky and it's not hot at all. Reason why I decided to wear my "leather" pants with a comfy sweater (you already saw it here). My dat started cleaning up the house and my closet- I specially had to organize my closet for my styling class. Then I had lunch with my boyfriend and later we headed to the mall- he wanted me to give him some ideas of what to gift me on my birthday (which is in 4 days... I'm so excited). I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO
I wore this outfit to the "Magia de la moda" fashion show presented by hispanic magazine Vanidades as part of Miami's Funkshion Fashion Week 2011. The feature designers were Isabel & Ruben Toledo, who presented their 2012 Spring-Summer collection. I absolutely loved the collection, the pieces were gorgeous and so colorful (perfect for summer)- the models were also wearing sleek ponytails and natural-looking makeup. About my outfit: as soon I was invited by Covergirl and Pantene to go to this event I knew I wanted to wear this dress- i really loved the high-low cut and the burgundy color is so IN this season. To make it more casual and fun, I added these ankle booties and a studded belt. Do you like asymmetric dresses? How would you wear this one? Thanks for stopping by ! XOXO
