Here's another Holiday party idea.  I feel like this dress is perfect for this season for two reasons: first, the peplum is very on-trend...and second, a red dress screams HOLIDAY! I paired the dress with a statement black/gold necklace, a timeless ring, and a simple gold bracelet. To make the look a little more fun, I added some leopard pumps. I feel like this look would look appropriate in A LOT of women- it's trendy enough for an 18yr old...and classy enough for a 40-something bombshell. Hoy les traigo otra opción para Navidad/fiestas decembrinas.  Considero que este vestido, no solo está muy en tendencia por el peplum, también el color rojo lo hace perfecto para estas fechas. Lo quise combinar con accesorios negros y dorados- el foco está en el collar, razón por la que el resto son accesorios bastante sencillos y clásicos. Para hacerlo un poco más moderno, agregué unos zapatos de leopardo (estampado que queda genial con el rojo) Siento que este look es apropiado para casi todas las edades ya que es clásico y elegante... lo importante es como tu lo lleves. ¿Qué les parece este look para Navidad? Before talking about anything, I want to explain the meaning behind the "Pray for Karl" tee- at first I was like "why is he crying?". But I started reading and I thought the meaning behind it was interesting. The fashion industry has been declining the past decade because of the spread of "Fast Fashion"- within weeks, you can find designer-inspired pieces at big retailers like Zara. This has affected designers in terms of sales/profit... so.."let's pray for Karl". Since the shirt was a little long on me, remember I'm very petite... I wanted to wear it with these faux leather leggings- and since it was a little chilly, I added the parka. I wore this the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my boyfriend's family was still in town so we spent time with them and had dinner at 100 Montaditos. Hope you had an amazing week! XOXO

Antes de empezar les cuento un poquito del significado de la camisa "Pray for Karl" (O reza por Karl). Antes de pedirla, me puse a leer de la tienda y el significado de sus camisas y me pareció super interesante. El "reza" por Karl es por el hecho de que los diseñadores han estado sufriendo económicamente por el crecimiento de tiendas como Zara (que en tan solo días, venden piezas idénticas a lo que se ve en las pasarelas)...lo que deja a muchos dudando sobre el furutro de la industria de la moda. Como la camisa es larguita, quise combinarla con mis leggings de "cuero".. y aprovechando el poco frío de Miami, quise utilizar esta chaqueta militar. Esto lo utilicé el sábado pasado para pasar el día con la familia de mi novio- luego en la nochesita fuimos a comer a 100 Montaditos. FELIZ DIA y mil gracias por pasar por aquí!

Today's is supposed to be "wednesday remix"- but I have so many look to post that I really don't want them to keep piling up (don't  worry, the next remix will be double....maybe a couple of tops/bottoms and all the ways I've worn them). Talking about post, I really want to do a Holiday special; so I need your help. I want to do several looks for several styles and different occasions/parties.... so tell me: what are you plans for this Holiday season? OK let's go back to this outfit. I want to wear this skirt all the time- I feel like it goes with everything but the faux leather gives any outfit an edgy/modern feel. This time I wanted to pair it with a top with an embellished peter-pan collar (so you don't need to accessorize in terms of earrings/necklaces). So I kept the look relatively simple- I say "relatively" because if you look closely, the shoes and handbag have sequins/studs. I wore this during the weekend to have an early romantic dinner with Gabo- I like that this look is very feminine but it still have an edge to it. I hope you are having an amazing week! XOXO

Se que hoy se supone que sea "Miércoles de Remix" pero no quiero que se sigan acumulando los looks- luego les hago un mega remix con varias piezas y todas las formas que las he usado (¿qué prefieren: camisas o faldas?). Ya que se acerca diciembre, quiero hacer un especial de Navidad/fiestas decembrinas... así que necesito la ayuda de todas: diganme que planes tienes!! (Así puedo hacer varios looks para ocasiones totalmente distintas). Ok, de regreso a este outfit... estoy segura que le voy a sacar tanto provecho a esta falda de "cuero"- me parece que va con absolutamente todo y por supuesto, el cuero la hace más moderna y divertida. En esta ocasión la quise combinar con una camisa con el cuello de peter pan embellecido- lo que hace que no necesites ningún accesorio extra. Así que mantuve el resto del look relativamente sencillo- digo "relativamente" porque aunque son piezas sencillas como zapatos negros y carterita negra, también tienen sus lentejuelas y detalles. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana para ir a cenar temprano con Gabo- es un look que mezcla lo delicado/romántico con piezas fuertes como el cuero y las tachas. I feel like I have a couple of pieces that I keep wearing over and over- they all are "oxblood-ish", so I can pair them all together. I wore this two Saturdays ago, the 17th- for a Kenneth Cole event at the Aventura Mall. The hostess of the event was Amanda from Capture Fashion so I had a lot of fun catching up with her. This time I wanted to pair the peplum you already saw at the monochromatic challenge with a floral pair of jeans...and some simple gold/cream accessories. Originally, I had a statement necklace on- but it looked too busy, specially because of the print of the pants....maybe for a night-out! I hope you liked this look! XOXO and thanks for stopping by!

He tenido varias piezas en rotación las últimas semanas-  todas tienen algo en común, el tono vino...así que he estado combinándolas entre si hasta más no poder. Esto lo utilicé el sábado 17 de noviembre para un evento de Kenneth Cole en el centro comercial Aventura. La anfitriona era Amanda de Capture Fashion, y la pasé chevere compartiendo con ella. En esta ocasión quise combinar el peplum vino que vieron en el reto monocromático; pero esta vez con unos pantalones de flores y accesorios dorado/crema. Originalmente tenía un collar dorado con el peplum, pero siento que se veía muy cargado, especialmente para un look durante el día. Espero que les haya gustado este look!
