I used to do these monthly features where I put the items I wanted to buy next month. So I decided to bring this small section back with a small twist- I'm adding pieces that I already got the past weekend (or that I'm waiting to get by mail), so it's like a mini-haul + wish list. I hope you like the idea!
1. Yellow maxi-skirt: (Romwe.com, $45). I love maxi skirts, specially during in Miami. I decided to get a yellow one since it's such a statement, can't wait to wear it and wear it during the summer.
2, Vintage Leopard blouse (Furormoda.com, $53): I felt in love with this oversized vintage blouse, I know I'm going to wear it as dress, as a blouse, and a swimsuit cover up.
3. White jeans (JC Penney, $25): last summer, my favorite white jeans ripped apart- so I was looking for a pair since October... but as you can imagine, it's impossible to find white jeans during fall/winter.
4. Red pumps (Still looking): I've wanted red pumps since last year, but I'm so picky. I found a great pair at Charlotte Russe this weekend, but they didn't have my size. So I'm still looking for the perfect dark red/suede pump.
5. Vintage sunglasses (Furormoda.com, $12). I was about to get the Ray Ban sunglasses when I saw that Furor sells an almost identical model for 1/10 of the original!
6. Geometric necklace (Ebay.com, $3): another "look for less". I loved Nicole Richie's jewelry line, reason why I was so excited when a reader sent me this link on ebay!
7. Black jeans (JC Penney, $20): a classic staple that I needed in my closet.
8. Tweed jacket (MNG by Mango, $60): I used to hate tweed jackets because they were grandma looking. But I felt in love with this one by Mango, you can really edge it up depending on how you wear it.
9. Long earrings (Jewelmint, $29.99): I can't wait to tell you more about it.. but if you use the promo code " MIAMI991", you get 50% (That's just $15 for amazing jewelry!) I got them last weekend and they are gorgeous and huge!
10. Black moccasins (JC Penney, $40): I wore my black ballerina flats so much for the past two years that I needed to change them. This time I went for a "masculine feeling"... a mocassin/loafer.
11. Purple bag (Mimi Boutique, $60): I want a fun-colorful purse for the spring/summer- I love this purple one but I'm still trying to decide the color (maybe orange?)
8. Tweed jacket (MNG by Mango, $60): I used to hate tweed jackets because they were grandma looking. But I felt in love with this one by Mango, you can really edge it up depending on how you wear it.

A couple of months ago, I begged Gaby to do a celebrity inspired look with me (we did Kourtney and Scott, click here if you haven't seen it)- we had so much fun so we decided we wanted to do it more often. This time we chose Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl- I love her style, she always looks so put together... and apparently.. her boyfriend too. As you can see, the pieces are not identical- it's all about the general feeling of the outfit. Let's talk about the price- just Olivia's bag is over $12,000, while my whole look (including sunglasses and watch) is $240. About our day: we had lunch with his family and then we headed to a frozen yogurt place, Then, something came over me and I started "remodeling the house"- I want to even move the furniture. I hope you like the idea , and leave a comment if you want to see Gaby more often in the blog! Have a great week! XOXO

I'm not going to lie, this is what I wanted to wear for the challenge- and I kept hoping the temperature in Miami would go down a little during the weekend (but it never happened... we are still waiting for the cold fronts). So I had to adjust it a little in order to be able to wear without melting (we even took pictures of that adjusted look, but I was dying to show this one). When I bought this sweater, so many looks came to my mind- I want to wear it color blocking, with white shorts/jeans.. etc. But now.. I went for the winterish bumble bee, I wanted to show that this color is not only for the spring/summer. About my day, I went shopping (got a lot of things at JC Penney with a gift card I got) and then we headed to a friend's house for "game night". If you wore neon this week, don't forget to link it below ( also, I wanted to remind you that you don't need a blog to be part of the challenges, you can just link to a Facebook picture or to a Twitpic!). Thanks for stopping by! XOXO

The past Wednesday I was invited to attend a fun P&G event, where the company showed us the new products they launched in 2012. The place was decorated as a super chic lab- with stations where the experts explained to us how the products worked (most of them even did small experiments). Then, there was a second level where they had the beauty products- there, they did makeovers with Olay & Covergirl products. The best part of the night was meeting Irma Martinez, celebrity stylist and P&G spokesperson- she told us how she started in the styling world (she has styled SHAKIRA!), some secrets to be successful in the industry (she said just be unique, do something that differentiate you front he rest), and shared some of her favorite P&G products (she's obsessed with Olay Pro X). About my outfit: I went to school first so I got home to "change" but I didn't have time so I just added a leather jacket to dress it up a little. I hope you like the pictures!

1) Black and cream 2) Red and stripes 3) Asymmetric stripes 4) Celebrity inspired: Lauren Conrad 5) Army green and stripes
You can definitely tell how much I love this sweater, I've worn it with skirts, pants, jeans, over dresses...with flats, booties, pumps, and more! Tell me which one is your favorite and how would you wear it!
______
Previous Remixes: Remixes previos:
- White blouse - Blusa blanca
- Dark red jeans - Jeans rojos oscuros.
I wore this sweater SO much a couple of months that I had to hide it in the darkest corner in my closet (place where I now placed my burgundy jeans so I don't wear them as often lol) But on Tuesday, I decided to wear it again with my cargo pants and an unexpected touch of gray with the little bag. On tuesdays I have class the WHOLE day, so I wanted to be comfy but still put together (hello.. it's fashion school!). And something really funny happened, a close friend was wearing almost the exact same outfit (her sweater was army cream/cream and her pants were black...we looked like twins). I'm still trying to figure out this semester when to take pics because I'm taking more classes than usual and it's been crazy- so expect a lot more "university/school" outfits! Have an AMAZING WEEKEND! xoxo

I love shirts that look very simple from the front..but when you turn around, there's a wow-factor (in this case an open back). To balance it out a little, I added a high waisted skirt. I know a lot of you prefer when I wear colorful outfits- reason why I always try to incorporate a little bit of color (even if it is just lipstick/nail color). I chose this booties because I felt heels where too formal- and I looked like I was going to the beach with sandals (I feel like the booties give the outfit an edgier/laid back feel). I wore this to eat at a friend's house. Thanks for stopping by! How would you wear this gorgeous top!?

I got this dress on the mail on Thursday and I couldn't wait to wear it- it's from a new online store called 2020ave.com, they have a lot of cute and affordable items! I love that it's so sheer- the only problem was that I didn't read the description box where it say that it didn't come with the slip so I had to improvise with a simple top and a tight skirt. I paired with camel accessories and a small pop of color in the bracelets. I wore this to a friend's birthday at a cool restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. I thought it was a casual restaurant- reason why I wore this boho bag- but it was more like a lounge, and everyone was so dressed up! Btw, do you use instagram? I opened an account a couple of days ago, if you want to follow me.. "nanysklozet" Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
ps: Don't forget to enter the sequin bag giveaway... HERE

Even though I complain like crazy in the summer because of the crazy humidity in Miami... I'm so happy I can wear clothes like this in January while the rest of the US is freezing. Since it was gorgeous outside, we decided to head to Miami Beach to walk around/eat/ and take pictures at this new park beside Lincoln Road. There's not much to say about this outfit- just a bright romper with neutral accessories - and I also added a fringe bag + feather earrings to make it more bohemian. After watching these pics, I realized I need to go to the beach, I've never been this pale! Have a GREAT weekend!
ps: The winner of Romwe's giveaway are: 1)Kayleigh Marie 2) elleSEA87 3)Concha **they were chosen with random.org). Stay tuned, new giveaway tomorrow!

I wanted to create a section in the blog where you can "shop my klozet"- everything you see here is in great condition (and I would still wear it). All the pieces are very affordable and I hope you like the idea!
How it works?
- Each week, I'll add 4-10 items on the blog-today I decided to start with small handbag. Below every picture, there's a link that will give you more information about it.
- If you like something, email me at nanysklozet@gmail.com with the name of the item you liked, your paypal account, and full address.
- Then, I'll answer with the shipping cost and I'll wait for your approval,
- Finally, you'll receive an invoice from paypal- log on..pay.. and that's it! I'll run to the postal office!
U.S shipping: $5
International shipping: I'm open to shipping everywhere but the shipping costs are crazy. It really upsets me because there is nothing I can do about it. But if you are really interested, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

COMPRA MI KLOZET

EnvÃos a USA: $5
This was actually the 1st pictures we took in Miami after my holiday trip to Venezuela and Europe- my bf got upset because I kept complaining on the picture quality (if you look closely, the are not as sharp as the rest of the posts). After changing the lens many times, we realized something was wrong with his camera and he sent it to Canon so they can fix it. Reason why we have been taking them lately with my camera (which I LOVE and a lot people ask me what model it is- Canon Rebel T3i and I use the 50 mm 1.8F lens for those wondering :) ) Back to the outfit, I had been waiting for this bag for a couple of weeks and I was so excited when it got home that I couldn't wait to wear it- it's the perfect size/shape.. and I adore the sequins). This time I paired with simple pieces that equal a super glam outfit and I really like that it is a versatile look that you can wear to a lot of different occasions (like going out with your friends, change the leather pants for black business pants and you are ready to work). I actually wore it to go out with my boyfriend and have sushi (it's like our thing, we are addicted to it). Finally I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog- don't forget to leave your comment ( I love reading what you liked, what you didn't like, what you would change, how much you wear X piece). XOXO
