Yesterday, I went to the zoo. It was so much fun! We rented a cycle and we got to see so many animals. The best part was feeding the giraffes! I'm going to let the pics speak for themselves :)

Ayer fui al zoológico! Me encantó, tenía bastante tiempo sin ir! Alquilamos una bicileta/carrito y lo recorrimos rapidísimo y pudimos ver muchos animales. La mejor parte fue darle de comer a las jirafas! Voy a dejar que las fotos hablen por si mismas! Un abrazo!

When I went shopping to get my red jeans, I was with one of my best friends and she told me that even though she loved them, she had no idea what to wear them with. I wanted to prove her wrong because they are more versatile that we think. I've worn them with blacklace, a vintage white shirt, and color-blocking with a purple tee. Yesterday I went with a stripe&flower tank, I paired it with neutral accessories so they wouldn't overwhelm the outfit. I was so excited that Chiqui stood there like the cutest dog ever (even though, I made him sit beside me lol). About my day, I had lunch with my bf and his bff- they had some technological stuff to do (something with their cellphones, I think lol). Later that night, we went to watch the movie "Source Code". It's about a guy who has to travel in time to find out who put a bomb in a train, but he only has 8 minutos . It has a little twist but I'm not going to say what happened :)


Cuando fui a comprar estos pantalones en Zara, fui con una de mis mejores amigas. Y ella me decía que aunque le encantaban esos pantalones, no sabría con que ponerselos. Le dije que le iba a demostrar que son mucho más versátiles de lo que creemos, ya los he usado con encaje negro, con una camisa vintage blanca, y haciendo "color-block".  Esta vez opté por una camisa de rayas con flores y accesorios neutrales para no quitarle el protagonismo a la ropa. Chiqui me acompaño otra vez en las fotos, lo tuve que obligar a sentarse (haha). Sobre mi día, fuimos a comer con el mejor amigo de mi novio ya que ellos iban a estar arreglando sus celulares o algo por el estilo (no se mucho de eso) y luego en la noche fuimos al cine a ver "Source Code".  Es la de un muchacho que tiene que "viajar" en el tiempo para prevenir la explosión de un tren pero solo tiene 8 minutos (y al pobre lo mandan como mil veces hasta que lo logré). Pero tiene un pequeño giro que no les voy a contar :)

Yesterday was a little different from the usual Sunday, we went to this place called "Deerland Beach"- about 50 minutes from Miami. A couple of friends went to do wakeboarding- I wasn't in the mood but I watch, we took pictures of them( falling, mostly), and we ate. We had like a little picnic with sandwiches, cookies, and snacks. About my outfit: even though, it was cloudy.. it was SO hot! Reason why I wanted to wear this little romper I found on the sale section of Urban Outfitters. I paired it with my new oxfords, a tan bag and a fedora! Once again, thanks for following my blog! You are the best!

Ayer fue un domingo diferente, fuimos a un "Deerland Beach", como a 50 minutos de Miami. Fuimos un grupo de amigos porque iban a esquiar en el agua- el día estaba un poco nublado y yo no tenía muchas ganas de meterme en el agua y caerme (jaja). Estuvimos ahí bastante tiempo, llevaron comida y teníamos un mini-pinic montado- galletas, sandwiches, pitas, y más. Tomamos muchísimas fotos de la gente esquiando y echándose unas matadas que ni se imaginan. Sobre mi outfit: el día, aunque estaba nublado, hacía un calor impresionante. Por eso opté por un mini romper (que encontré en rebajas en Urban Outfitters) y mis oxfords!  Una vez más, gracias por seguir el blog! :D

After spending a day running around the talent from Prom: I came back home, and changed to go to the launch of the spring collection of  Pitusa. Beforing heading out, my bf and photographer had dinner (sushi, as usual). I wish I had taken pictures of the studio,  it was super cool and perfect for this type of event(but we left the camera at home, I didn't want to carry it around. It is huge). The owner of Pitusa went to college with me, check it out! (www.pitusa.co.uk). We drank some caipirinhas; I don't usually drink but they were delicious. We had to leave early because I was extremely tired! About my outfit, the dress is vintage (Furormoda.com) and I felt in love with it. I don't usually wear long sleeves but I really like how it looks because of the shoulder pads. I paired it with neutral shoes&handbag so the dress would be the center of attention. Después de haber pasado un día persiguiendo al elenco de Prom: regresé a la casa, descansé un rato y me cambié para ir al lanzamiento de la colección primavera-verano de una amiga. Antes de ir, fui a comer sushi con mi fotógrafo (lo sé, sushi una vez más- pero es que nos encanta). Ojalá hubiera tomado fotos del sitio, pero dejamos la cámara en la casa para no tener que andar cargando con ella (y más si se fijan en el mini tamaño de mi cartera). El lugar era super lindo y moderno, perfecto para un evento como este. La marca de ropa se llama Pitusa, las invito que pasen por su página (www.pitusa.co.uk). Habían unas caipiriñas riquísimas: yo que no soy de tomar, el contenido del vaso desapareció en cuestión de segundos. Estuvimos solo un rato porque estaba agotada de todo el día! Sobre mi outfit, el vestido es vintage y me enamoré de él apenas lo ví. Aunque generalmente me arremango las camisas manga largas, me gustó como se veía gracias a las hombreras. Lo combiné con zapatos nude y una cartera neutral para que el vestido fuera el centro de atención! Espero que hayan tenido un bonito fin de semana! Un abrazo.

I don't even know where to start. My day started extremely early- for a Saturday- we drove A LOT to get to "Becca's Closet". I'm going to tell you a little more about this charity so you can understand what the event was all about. A girl called Rebecca decided to help girls who couldn't afford prom dresses. Unfortunately, she had an accident a year later and her parents decided to take over. Nowadays, this charity has over 90 locations all over the US. Designers around the world donate their dresses to Becca's Closet. Disney decided to donate one of the dress worn in the movie.  Also, the cast of the movie helped the girls as personal shoppers. We also had the opportunity to interview the talent, click "read more" below :).

No se ni por donde empezar con mi día. Me paré temprano - para ser sábado- y manejamos muchísimo para llegar a "Becca's Closet". Les cuento un poco de esta fundación para que entiendan un poco más del evento. Una muchacha de 15 años decidió ayudar a niñas sin recursos para que pudieran tener un vestido el día de su graduación.  Lamentablemente, falleció en un accidente un año después de empezar la fundación. Los papás se encargaron de hacer esto algo nacional y ahora tienen más de 90 sitios en todo Estados Unidos. Diseñadores de todos lados donan vestidos, en esta ocasión: Diney iba a donar uno de los vestidos que utilizaron en la película Prom. Luego, los actores de la película iban a ayudar a muchachas a escoger vestidos para sus respectivas graduaciones. I wanted to wear my red jeans again- but I wanted to make them look different from the previous times I've worn them. Reason why I chose this leopard top- I tried to keep the accessories as simple as possible so it would look okay for the daytime. Finally, I added red lipstick so the whole outfit looked pulled together. I wanted to tell you about my Thursday, I went to the movies to watch "Prom". I actually loved it, I love teenager movies and this was no exception- the story is super cute - a little predictable though- and the main actor is EXTREMELY cute. Tomorrow, I'm going to a special event of the movie. In the morning, they are donating one of the dresses worn in the movie to a charity called Becca's Closet. Then, I'm going to interview the main charactes of the movie! I'm super excited, I'll let you know how it goes!


Quería ponerme mis pantalones rojos otra vez- y quería que se viera diferente a las otra veces que las he usado. Razón por la que escogí esta camisa de leopardo; para mantener el look de día mantuve los accesorios lo más sencillos posible. Y me pinté los labios rojos para que todo el look estuviera relacionado. Les quería contar de mi día de ayer, fui invitada al pre-estreno de la película PROM. De verdad me encantó, la película- es la típica película predecible de adolescentes pero es super tierna y el protagonista es BELLO. Mañana voy a un evento especial de esta película que consiste en dos partes. La primera es la donación de un vestido a la fundación Becca's Closet y en la segunda voy a poder entrevistar a los protagonistas de "Prom. Ya les contaré como me va!

Last Sunday, I went to Zara and I bought a couple of things (including these amazing bright pink jeans). I love how bright they are, I have several ideas to color-block but I want to wait for special events. I haven't done anything special today: I ate with my bf, worked, and that's it!  I wanted to tell you someting because I'm extremely excited about it: I just got invited to the Latin Billboards- backstage, rehearsals, red carpets, after-party and everything!  I'm so excited, I have no idea what to wear: what would you wear to those awards? Also, a lot of hispanic singers are going to be performing (even more excited!!). I hope you are having a great week! XOXO!

El otro día que fui a Zara compré estos pantalones rosados neones! Me encantan porque de verdad resaltan muchísimo! Tengo varias ideas para hacer más color-blocking pero quiero guardar esos outfits para unos eventos que tengo pronto- y hoy ha sido un día super normal: de trabajo, comer con mi novio y descansar. Les quería contar que estoy muy emocionada porque me invitaron a los Billboards Latinos- voy a estar en la alfombra roja, en los ensayos, en los premios y en el after-party! Todavía no se que ponerme, ¿qué se pondrían ustedes en unos premios así? Aparte que estoy emocionadísima porque va a estar Maná, Enrique Iglesias, y... -dicen por ahí- que tal vez Shakira!! The day started as any other sunday- my bff and I went to eat lunch (sushi, of course!). Then, we had no idea what to do so we decided to walk around Sunset Place. I wanted to go to Urban Outfitters, I really love everything there; however, I feel like it's extremely pricey for the low quality you get. After searching the whole sale section, I found a cute little romper- it looks very 50's. Later, we ate some "raspaditos" ("shaved ice" but I call them raspaditos); I used to eat it at least once a week when I was little! It's super delicious! Finally, I wanted to go to Zara so bad. I don't usually buy there but the Spring Collection is BEAUTIFUL! I want every single piece of it! I found the perfect shoes to level up at color-blocking. I hope you have a great week!
