The Block Heel...with DSW

I’ve talked about Fashion and Beauty trends for Spring/Summer 2016….but no trend will be the same without THE SHOES!!!Some of my favorite trends this season are: sneakers, lace-up flats, and wood platforms. However, there is one that caught my eye: THE BLOCK HEEL TREND. Why? 1) Gives me needed height (I’m just 5’1.5, so any extra inch counts!!- who’s with me!?) 2) The thicker heel gives me stability and I can wear them for longer periods of time….best of both worlds!

Ya les he hablado de mis tendencias de moda y belleza favoritas para esta Primavera/Verano 2016...pero ningún loko en tendencia  sería lo mismo sin los zapatos.

Algunas de mis tendencias de zapato favoritas son: tenis, flats con trenzas, y plataformas de madera. Pero esta de TACON DE BLOQUE me llamó mucho la atención: primero porque con mi tamañito, agradezco las tendencias que me dan así sea un par de cm extra; pero como tiene el tacón ancho, me da estabilidad y puedo usarlo por más tiempo.

The shoes I’m wearing are the Mix No 6 Rafaelli Sandal available now at DSW for $39.95 I love the versatility of black heels…the suede material (very on trend!), and the lace-up detail on the ankle. These heels can be easily dressed up with a fancy dress for a romantic night out, or dressed down with jeans…like I’m doing here with a denim on denim look and straw touches. DSW has some great looking block heels on their site right now!

Los tacones que estoy utilizando son las sandalias Raffaelli de Mix No 6 (disponibles en  DSW por $39.95). A mi me encanta la versatilidad de unos tacones negros...pero la gamuza + el tacón grueso lo hacen muy en tendencia. Estas sandalias las puedes con un vestido elegante para una cita romántica...o con jeans como lo estoy usando yo para una ocasión más casual. Esta camisa la utilicé en Chile pero me encanta este look denim on denim con unos jeans más oscuros.
