Our Miami “winters” are short and sweet… and our summers are hot and humid (in a good way…can you imagine not being able to enjoy the gorgeous Miami beaches because it was cold or gloomy?). I love being able to go to the beach and spend time outdoors because of our great all-year weather.  They say people get more social in the summertime (because of all the fun outdoor activities), maybe that’s why people in Miami are so warm and friendly!

Los inviernos en Miami son cortos (pero siempre los espero con mucha ansia)... y nuestros veranos son largos, húmedos y calientes. Pero honestamente no me imagino no poder disfrutar de las hermosas playas por que hace calor o que esté nublado todo el tiempo. Me encanta poder salir todos los días y disfrutar del buen tiempo. Por ahí dicen que la gente es más social y simpática durante el verano...tal vez por eso es que la gente en Miami es tan cálida.

When it comes to fashion, dressing in the summer can be a little tricky…but you can still look fashionable in the hot months. My solution: light, summery dresses...

Pero se lo difícil que es vestirse en el verano sin sentir que te vas a derretir. Mi solución siempre es vestidos ligeros y veraniegos.

Lucky brand ha sido una de mis marcas favoritas de jeans desde hace muchos años... y hace poco les mostré unas sandalias que conseguí Lucky Brand que fueron mis "ni pa" en México.  Pero este vestido me encantó...por su estampado de bacterias, las tiritas delicadas...pero también por su versatilidad.  Puede usarse con una chaqueta de jean, encima de tu traje de baño...o hasta con una chaqueta de cuero cuando se empiece a acercar el otoño. Tiene una onda rock and roll que dura todo el año.

This weekend, we were supposed to drive up to Naples to visit a new town in Florida…plans changed and we had to stay in Miami. Staying home was all good…we headed out with the little pups to walk around the bayside and park…seeing our everyday streets in another light was beautiful!

Este fin de semana se supone que íbamos a Naples, un lindo pueblo a un par de horas de de Miami. Pero por circunstancias fuera de nuestro control , nos quedamos en Miami y decidimos disfrutarlo al máximo con un paseo por la bahía con Chiki!
