For a moment on my IG feed, it looked like we moved to the Museum of Ice Cream- but now, we were visiting again - but this time for the Kendra Scott Spring Collection Launch Celebration . It was such a great idea, they invited a big group of bloggers before the Museum opened for the day. As soon as we arrived, we got to choose our favorite piece from the collection and wear it throughout the museum (brilliant idea, since this is THE PLACE for pictures). I picked some statement ombré earrings in shades of pink/purple that went perfectly with my outfit.

This Miami Winter was extremely short but sweet. I've probably said it a million times but living in such a hot/humid city makes you appreciate the chilly days so much more.
The few days we got a little bit of a cold-front , I was wearing oversized sweaters with over the knee boots! This is actually a men’s sweater from Forever21, I got it last Fall. I wore it with sneakers for a longgg Ikea trip (which was a total fail, we didn’t find anything we were looking for). We were starting to look at cribs and changing tables but they were HUGE and we have limited space
Then I swapped the sneakers for these AWESOME booties; and we headed to dinner with friends
Btw it’s not about “hiding the bump” , I just feel way way WAY more comfortable in looser silhouettes. Either way, at the pace this bump is growing...it will show in a LOSE dress.
Hope you are having an amazing week!
Trying to highlight was is left of my waist!

Because without dark...we would never see the stars.
My friend Gaby from VoguishDiet started this fun hashtag #SheDidntShave (in Spanish but let's make it happen in English too) because, let's be honest: over the knee socks and boots are lifesavers when we want to wear short skirts but we simply don't feel like shaving🙌🏼. Raise your hand if you have ever done this! No shame!🙋🏻🙋🏽🙋🏾🙋🏿🙋🏼
Turning my favorite red mini bag into a fanny pack ♥️ how do you feel about this trend?

Today I have a million things to do. I work better at night...I'm one of those night owls whose mind only works after 10pm. So today's post will be short and sweet but I'm keeping my promise!
This outfit is full of pieces that I've had on repeat. These pieces HAVE to be in your wardrobe no matter your style: white sneakers, a chunky sweater, a leather jacket, a classic handbag that goes with everything, and jeans (these are petite so I feel like I finally got a pair that fits like a cropped pair!). A remix is definitely on the way.
Talking about remixes; I promise that those are coming back soon. I want to share more content...more his and hers, maybe even "get the celebrity look for less". Let me know what you think, what you want to see.
There were a couple of things in my life that I feel they were holding me back...feeling not as inspired as I should have. But here I am and I'm coming for you haha.
XOXO love you all!

I believe that you can achieve anything when you are confident + comfortable. Reason why I’m so excited to partner with Hanes again to continue talking about the importance of feeling comfydent.
1) Always start with the first layer: UNDERWEAR. Go for breathable and soft fabrics. My current faves: my Hanes Cool Comfort® Microfiber Brief Panties- no panty lines and so comfortable even in the hottest Miami Summer day.
1) Always start with the first layer: UNDERWEAR. Go for breathable and soft fabrics. My current faves: my Hanes Cool Comfort® Microfiber Brief Panties- no panty lines and so comfortable even in the hottest Miami Summer day.
2) Stop letting a size define you. Don’t squeeze yourself in a smaller size of jeans - your clothes will fit better if you wear the right size…and you feel better comfortable because you will be able to move around.
3) Try that fashion trend you are afraid of BUT absolutely love. Don’t be afraid to break the fashion rules- I’m petite and I’m always wearing trends that magazines say I shouldn’t and I love that feeling of “See, I can do whatever I want”
4) Don’t feel guilty about splurging from time to time. Take it as an investment, never as an impulse buy. You worked hard, you saved some money…you deserve that pair of designer shoes and that new it-bag. Go buy it…and it might be just a fashion item but it will give you #GirlPower!
5) Try a new hairstyle, hair cut or hair color. It doesn’t have to be a full transformation- but little changes can give you a boost of confidence. Just make sure it’s a style you can do on the everyday.

6) Wear a bright lipstick. My favorite is red lipstick- it has a confidence boost power, especially when it’s that perfect shade for you. Go for a liquid matte so you can be comfortable and not worry about retouching.
7) Your smile is your greatest accessory, it radiates confidence from within. So show those pearly whites whenever you go, whatever you are wearing.
8) You don’t always have to wear heels to feel confident. I’ve realized that those extra inches might make my legs longer, but my feet do not appreciate it. I prefer to be wearing killer sneakers and be able to mingle, explore the world, and be me!
9) If you love an item in your closet, don’t be afraid to wear it and re-wear it. Just be creative and find different ways to make the full outfit look different.
10) A good bra is everything. You can be wearing the most gorgeous dress but if you feel a wire poking your skin…comfydence goes out the door! The Get Cozy ComfortFlex Fit® Wire Free Bra is EVERYTHING! It has smart sizing…which means the perfect bra size instantly. It also has a sleek silhouette that won’t show under any outfit. I went out of my comfort zone by wearing with my white overalls and floral bomber.
What are your secret weapons to stay COMFYDENT?
San Francisco is such a gorgeous city; I’m absolutely in love with its architecture, with the parks in every corner, the delicious food, the weather …<3
We heard that the Golden Gate Park is even bigger than Central Park in NYC; reason why, when checking it out, we decided to rent a bike. We found a little bike shop two blocks from the park (hey, those hills are steep- the closer to the park , the better!!). There are so many attractions to see from the Japanese Tea Garden to De Young Museum and the Conservatory of Flowers. So we hopped on our bikes and try to visit everything we could.
Fashion-wise, I’m obsessed with how the weather allowed me to play with layers- and Gabe was so excited about being able to wear long pants and long sleeves ( The Miami heat barely let us!). But the true must-have for exploring San Francisco was this pair of Brooks Heritage sneakers. I’m wearing the Medalist Chariot in a fun red/black combo and Gabe is wearing Academia Fusion in the perfect shade of burgundy. The Chariot style pays tribute the running shoes of the eighties- I love how Brooks Heritage celebrates the history, heritage, and spirit of the run. While it was worn with leg warmers back in the day, this casual lifestyle shoe is extremely versatile. Here I’m wearing them with leather shorts, a plaid shirt around the waist and a military jacket. I also wore them with sweatpants and a jean jacket to the airport; and even with a striped dress and a varsity jacket…..they go with everything.
After biking a couple of miles, we stopped at a vegan place and had the most amazing beet burger. We were amazed by all the organic vegan places in San Francisco…Miami definitely needs to take some notes. We walked around some more, exploring new cities is the best…as long as you are wearing comfy shoes! <3

See... I wasn't kidding when I said I'm living in mini skirts and off-the-shoulder tops!
I absolutely love the trend of unexpected denim...like this skirt with different shades of denim (it is from Shoppiin and it's under $40!!). This denim top had sleeves but I had this idea of cutting them off (it was just one stitch on each side) and I'm going to put a button to easily put them on depending on the look.
These fun sandals are on MEGA SALE from Rebecca Minkoff (from $200 to $70!). The heel is comfy to walk around all day. This day I headed to an event at a local mall, and I ended up getting another ear piercing at Claire's..I got a lollipop and everything haha. I love how tiny earrings look so now I have four on one ear and two on the other.
I also found this super cute gold choker at Express, I love how I can dress it up, down, and layer it with other necklaces.
Hope you like the look and it inspired you! <3 XOXO

¿Ven!?
BESOS!

We are in California!! We are doing a small road-trip around Big Sur, Napa Valley, San Francisco and small cities in the area.
The temperature has been a dream...we were definitely running from the Miami heat. However, the weather in Napa has been a little hotter than I expected- especially throughout the day when it's the time to explore vineyards.
So today I'm partnering with Clinique to show you a quick and easy everyday tutorial to stay matte and beat the heat of the Summer days. We all want our skin to look flawless and fresh throughout the Summer Days.
The secret weapon: Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder. It absorbs shine, leaving you with a fresh matte texture.
Yas!! I can finally share the second blog post from our days at Mahekal Beach Resort. (You can read the first part of this fun adventure in Playa del Carmen by clicking here). I know it took me a while, but there’s a special surprise at the end of the post that had not launched until this week... on how to enter to win a trip for two to Mexico and a three-night stay at Mahekal Beach Resort with OPI!!! Who’s excited? If you still aren’t, wait until I tell you more about the hotel and about the pretty SoftShades.
¡YAY!

For the second part of our trip to México…we were joined by my parents and we headed to Mahekal Beach Resort!! It was also my dad’s birthday…so this trip as extra-special!
First impression: the resort was SO, SO, SO beautiful! It has a bohemian, carefree vibe that mixes Mexican traditions with modern and luxe details. All the rooms are palapa-style…and ours was just a few steps from the ocean (dreamy!)! Each room has an individual terrace with personal hammocks <3 I also love that they don’t have TVs on the rooms, so you can really “unplug” and enjoy a good book by the ocean.
The fool-proof formula for Summer: a light dress with a fun print + wedges + cool sunnies!
I'm a petite girl (and proud, the best things in life come in small packages...but I don't mind an extra inch or two). I was missing a pair of black wedges...and I found them at Zappos from Timberland. These are stylish but still a comfortable wedge for all my favorite outdoor activities. I can be in them all day...I can go to a picnic at the park without worrying about my heel going into the grass...or to a fun bbq without any complains. Just in case you want to see if I'm right, Zappos has fast free shipping and a 365 return policy!!
I've been loving bohemian dresses for the summer...they are light and aire, perfect for the Miami crazy-hot summers.
What's your favorite Summer outfit formula?
Yay finally I'm making myself update the blog every day because I have so much to share.
These photos are form last months. I've only shared one look from our trip to Chile...head over to Photo Diary Day #1 to see what we were doing Down South...I'll slowly share them all!
Just a quick reminder because some people forget...the seasons are the opposite in the South, last month it was the beginning of Fall there. That's why you will see looks with over-the-knee boots and jackets.
This day we went to brunch to a beautiful area in Santiago. We went with my brother, his wife and children, my parents, and some cousins that life there too. After eating (so delicious by the way), we ended up walking around and we found the perfect world map (we have been looking for one and we finally found it!). I just have to find a frame for it and the living room has a perfect space for it.
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend! XOXO
ABRAZOS!
Ohhh <3 Wedding season!
Since I was a little girl, I love attending weddings. I was a flower girl to several weddings between the ages of 5 to 8…I would even trick my younger cousins so I could be the one that took the rings to the altar. I would take my shoes off, and dance it off with the adults while my white pantyhose would turn grey.
This feeling has not changed. There is something so magical about weddings- not only knowing two people are promising each other to be together forever..but also the feeling of love from all the family of friends.
And as a fashion fanatic, it is the perfect excuse to dress up and dance until the sunrise! Talking about dancing…if you love dancing, try a JUMPSUIT! Nowadays, attending a wedding doesn’t necessarily mean wearing a dress; you can try a full skirt, dressy trousers, or a jumpsuit. As you can see, my favorite option is the latter.
As you can tell, Ash and I love shooting together...she is one of the sweetest girls in the industry and it's a must when we are together.
This time we were dressed very casual because we were going bowling...the perfect touch to glam any simple *denim* look...LIPSTICK!
It was a little chilly that day in Dallas so we were both wearing light Spring jackets. Mine is from Desigual and it's such a perfect Spring coat.
Hope you are having a great time ! XOXO

BESOS!
When I was getting dresses that day, Ashley, her husband and my husband started joking around that I looked like an edgier version of Britney Spears.
To continue the joke, I did two ponytails, put my top in a knot, and started dancing like Britney (all for snapchat!!, which is danidaniramirez in case you want to follow my daily randomness!). But personally, this looks reminds me more of "The Craft", which is one of my favorite 90s movies. As I've shared before, I wanted to be a witch so bad when I was little. I guess the dark colors + dark lipstick contribute to this vibe.
Looking back at the pics, I did look a little school girl, but I still think it is a fun look!

¡BESOS!

When I discovered the blogging industry, I would recreate many looks from bloggers...I always felt so inspired. As the industry changed and it became so competitive, getting inspired by another blogger became like a weakness...like people would judge you with a " you couldn't come up with your look by yourself, ha"...and I have to say I don't like that.
I even know some close friends who stopped following a lot of people because they didn't want their style to be "influenced" by anybody. I understand staying true to yourself, and that's very important...but I think inspiration is everywhere- and I love giving credit where credit is due (and I honestly love when a reader or blogger tells me they recreated or got inspired by one of my looks).
Talking about credit, we can say I "stole" this look from Sheryl, who writes a Walk in Wonderland. I met Sheryl in San Francisco a couple of years ago since we were doing the same campaign for Nordstrom Rack. We instantly clicked and I'm obsessed with her style, I think she is the jean-queen.
I got this faux-suede jacket a couple of weeks ago and I wore it with an all-black ensemble...they I saw Sheryl wear it with basic jeans and a white top and I instantly wanted to recreate it (I even commented it on her IG). I owned all the pieces, it's not like I went and bought it to "steal her look"...
And that should be the magic of blogging: relating to someone and thinking wow I love it, let me recreate it and give it my own touch <3
As promised, here’s another hairstyle inspired New York Fashion Week. This time I’m recreating the incredible braids seen at the Rachel Zoe F/W 2016 presentation.
I love braids…reason why as soon as I saw this hairstyle online and all over social media, I said “I have to this one!!”. These two fishtail braids turn into one…such a cool twist to the braid trend (PLUS if you know how to do a fish tail braid, this one will be easy piecey). Marco Peña, TRESemmé stylist and one of my personal faves, gave me all the extra tricks to achieve this look just like at Rachel Zoe’s presentation.
_____
These pictures should have been on yesterday's post. However, the experience was really fun and I decided to make them two. Check out my look with a coat, gloves, and all those crazy layers.
We starting checking online about things to do that were indoors. This was the coldest day of all (at 5 degrees F). A venezuelan friend who used to live in Chicago, Soraya from Chic Flavours, recommended Skydeck...so we headed that way.
The tickets are usually $22 per person but we used an app called "Popular Pays"- which is great for bloggers and ifnluencers. You can get paid sigs but there is a section on local business where they offer food/drinks/attractions in exchange of a shout-out in social media. It's crazy how the social media world has changed everything...and they don't ask for a crazy amount of followers (500 for coffee, for example). Going back to my point, we did this at Skydeck...we knew either way we were going to post a picture at it so might as well take advantage of the app. **This is in no way sponsored, I just wanted to share it**
The building is called "Willis Tower" and it is the second tallest building in North America. You get to see the beautiful city from the 103th floor. They also added some cool glass boxes so you can step out and look down (definitely scary for those who are afraid of heights...there was a lady that went in crawling...it was hilariously cute!)
Hope you like the pictures! XOXO

Oh Chicago! Chicago!
It wasn't the first time I've been in Chicago. I went twice in 2011- one for a marathon with Nike and then for a hispanic conference called Latism. Check out those posts, I look like a baby (and let's not even talk about what I was wearing). However, this time I went with Gabe and we love exploring the city.
We really loved it, it looked so beautiful with snow everywhere...and the lake was frozen!
We got there on Monday, we checked in, showered, and headed straight to have lunch. A couple of people recommended Giordanos where they are known for their Chicago-style pizzas. Honestly it was a good and bad decision. It was delicious but it was so big!! We didn't expect it! After that we headed to the Skydeck to see the city from the #103. I was going to add those pics on this post but they need their own posts (so stay tuned for that tomorrow).
About what I'm wearing, I realized I don't really own a lot of winter clothes (hey, I live in Miami, why would I). Everything I took to this 4 day trip was the same I wore in NYFW last year. The coat is from Desigual but it is obviously sold out (I linked to similar options below). I also realized that even though I love small bags, they are not for the winter. So this Coach swagger bag was perfect for this trip, that way I can add the gloves and everything inside (tell me I'm not the only one who does this!).
Have amazing weekend!

¡Chicago! ¡Chicago!!
