I have a weakness for black jeans…I think they are dressier, more versatile, and even more flattering than a regular pair of blue jeans. I also think they add a touch of coolness to any outfit…and what if I they are ripped or distressed? Even better…I feel like a rockstar or a petite model off-duty (it’s all about the attitude, right?)! 

Black ripped jeans are a must-have for this coming Fall. They go hand in-hand with plaid, leather jackets, chunky knits, etc. This pair from Express is my new favorite; they are a little high-waisted and extremely comfortable. I paired the jeans with this black tee from the new Express One Eleven collection. I especially love the back of it…but the best part? The bralette underneath!! Express has the coolest bralettes for shirts with cool backs or cut-outs. I have to admit I got several styles, including this one with straps on the back and another one that’s a racerback with a strappy side. Final touch? A B&W plaid and some mules!

According to Karl Lagerfeld, there are three wardrobe staples that will never go out of style: “jeans, a white shirt, and a Chanel jacket. In this outfit I'm wearing those three... well minus the Chanel part, but it still is a Chanel-ish tweed jacket. Today I'm partnering with Alloy Apparel to show you that you don't have to spend too much to look great. Apart from the great prices and variety, there was a feature that really caught my attention...besides picking your size, you can also pick up the length of the pants (the shorter version was still a little long on me because I'm tiny, but I think this is great especially for tall girls). I finish off the look with some cool cat-eye sunglasses . I hope you liked the look! XOXO

Según Karl Lagerfeld, hay 3 piezas que no pueden faltar en tu closet: 1. jeans 2. una camisa blanca y 3. una chaqueta a la' Chanel.  En este outfit justamente estoy usando esas 3 piezas (bueno, una versión mucho más económica de la chaqueta...pero igual de clásica). Hoy me uno a Alloy Apparel, para mostrarles que no es necesario gastar muchísimo para verte bien. Aparte de los buenos precios y la variedad de productos, me llamó muchísimo la atención que aparte de escoger tu talla...también puedes escoger el largo de tus pantalones (como soy tan petite, todavía me quedaron largos- esto debe ser más para las chicas super altas). Para completar el look, agregué unos lentes tipo gato. Espero que les haya gustado el look! XOXO

We are almost in mid-November; and Miami's fall feels as far as possible- at least it's not that humid so we can pretend to wear some layers. Even though I complain a lot about Miami's tropical weather, I know some of you would love to still enjoy short-appropriate weather. This time I'm wearing a top, shorts, and shoes from Shop Exhale. This  company is based in Miami; they don't only have the coolest washed out shorts but they also put studs on converse shoes..I think it's the perfect touch to give an edge to a classic shoe. This look is perfect for a chill -summer- weekend with friends or family! XOXO

Estamos a mediados de noviembre y el otoño se siente lejos- al menos ya no está extremadamente húmedo. Por mucho de que me gustaría poder experimentar con capas...me encanta poder utilizar shorts todo el año. Esta vez estoy utilizando shorts, zapatos y camisa de Shop Exhale- una compañía en Miami que aparte de tener shorts y camisas super cool, ¡¡le ponen tachuelas a los converse!! Las tachuelas definitivamente le dan un toque especial a un zapato tan clásico pero cómodo. Este look es perfecto para un fin de semana relajado, cómodo, y cálido.

 I absolutely love sitting and updating the blog- but I had the longest day today and I'm exhausted. I wore this on Monday for a fitting- we were choosing the clothes we were going to wear on today's shooting (for a venezuelan fashion store called Aishop). I can't wait to share my experience and I'm dying to see the final video! So yes, on Monday I headed for the fitting and I finally met some of my favorite venezuelan bloggers. Generalmente me gusta sentarme a escribirles con calma pero hoy tuve un día agotador- ya les contaré más de eso. Esto lo utilicé el lunes para ir a probarme la ropa que iba a utilizar hoy en el video que estuvimos grabando para la tienda venezolana Aishop. Pronto les contaré más de mi experiencia en la grabación pero creo que les va a encantar. El lunes me desperté más temprano de lo normal para ir a la tienda a escoger la ropa..y por supuesto a conocer al resto de las bloggeras (a quienes llevaba siglos siguiendo pero no habíamos tenido la oportunidad de conocernos). Luego fuimos a almorzar, y de verdad que la pasé genial con Luisa de Una Tal Luisa y Fede de My Half Fish Dying. ¡Espero que les haya gustado este outfit sencillo para un almuerzo con amigas!¡Abrazototes!
