Scalloped...

I wore this look last week for the amazing event we put together with "Fashion Happy Hour"; like I mentioned before, for me it was so excited to sell some of my "as-new" clothing for a good cause- we collect approximately $1,000 for Style Saves!! I also had so much fun because I got to meet and talk to other bloggers, people in the industry, etc

One of the questions I get asked the most is "how do I make my fashion blog known?" and it always say: (1) Print some business cards and head to a local event…it's all about network, network, network! and (2) Use online fashion communities to share your looks and to meet new people!

I recently found a global fashion community called wear.jp; not only users can gain inspiration from international trendsetters and leading brands but also you can see where to buy the items! ¡Este look lo utilicé para el evento de "bloggers give Back" junto a "Fashion Happy Hour! Fue muy emocionante para mi realizar este evento, y vendí muchas piezas de ropa de mi closet para ayudar en es ta linda causa- recaudamos casi $1000 para Style Saves! También me encantó porque vi (y conocí) a muchas amigas y conocidos que trabajan en la industria de moda en Miami.

Cuando me piden consejo sobre como dar a conocer sus blogs, siempre les digo dos cosas (1) Hagan sus tarjetas de presentación y salgan a eventos de moda en sus ciudades…es una forma de decir "¡¡estoy aquí!!" y (2) que utilicen páginas de comunidades de moda donde puedan publicar sus looks (e igual conocer a más gente en este mundo!)

Así que aprovecho esta oportunidad para contarles de la última comunidad de moda internacional que conseguí…se llama wear.jp. Me gustó mucho porque tiene muchos usuarios asiáticos (que todos sabemos que tienen un estilo increíble). Pero aparte de inspirarte, también puedes comprar las piezas que usa la gente!!
