Last week I was invited by Pandora and MetroPCS to attend the MetroPCS Latin AMA after party in Los Angeles.
My answer: Heck yes! Especially when I found out the special performer was Pitbull.
We got to Los Angeles the day before, thank God because Miami was in Hurricane alert and many flights were canceled that same day. So we got to enjoy LA a little, walk around- even went on a small hike (hey, you gotta take advantage of the mountains since Miami is so flat!).
Then it was time to PARTAY! I wore an all black look- thigh high boots that are perfect for LA weather, leather shorts, and a top with the coolest bell-sleeves-made for dancing!
The whole experience was so much fun! We got there and there was a step and repeat (where MetroPCS was giving selfie lights to attach to your photo #nofilter). Then we went in and there was the coolest 360 photo station. You basically step on a round platform and you have a camera spinning super fast around you…but taking a slow-mo video…and it looks so freaking cool!
We headed to our VIP section to get ready for Mr. 305. He is such an incredible performer. He sang so many hits. He also took the time to talk to the audience in between songs…and I loved hearing how down to earth he is. Like I said on my IG, he is truly an example of our hard working Latino community, of never forgetting where you are from but with a clear goal of where you are going.
We headed to our VIP section to get ready for Mr. 305. He is such an incredible performer. He sang so many hits. La semana pasada estuve en Los Angeles para ir a una fiesta super cool de MetroPCS después de los Latin AMAs. ¡Apenas me enteré que el concierto iba a ser de Pitbull dije que si sin pensarlo!
Salimos a Los Angeles el día anterior… y gracias a Dios porque justo el día del concierto Miami estuvo en alerta de huracán y todos los vuelos fueron cancelados. Así que aprovechamos de pasear en LA, ir a nuestro restaurante verano favorito, y hasta hacer ejercicio allá.
Pero no podía esperar para la noche. Utilicé un look todo negro- con estas botas hasta la rodilla que son mis favoritas y el clima de Los Angeles estaba perfecto para usarlas. También quise usar este top con unas mangas acampanadas, perfectas para bailar toda la noche.
Toda la experiencia fue increíble. Llegamos y entramos directo, antes que todo el mundo. Así que aprovechamos y nos tomamos unas fotos 360. Les explico como funcionan porque a mi me parecieron super interesantes. Te montas en una plataforma redonda y tienes una cámara que da vueltas alrededor tuyo a una velocidad increíble- pero lo que toma es un video en cámara lenta, pero como va tan rápido parece una foto.
De ahí continuamos a nuestra sección, y ya estábamos para listos. ¡Pitbull se lució- de verdad que le pone muchísimo corazón a sus presentaciones. Yo personalmente admiro a todo latino que haya llegado tan lejos sin olvidarse de sus raíces…creo que el es el vivo ejemplo de lo trabajadores y echados para adelante que somos los Latinos- y eso me da mucho orgullo.
