Sheer...

I think this year.. Miami's summer is going to be ridiculously hot and humid. It has been raining non-stop, and my hair becomes a ball of frizz every time I go out. So to run a couple of errands around downtown, I went for a sheer top with a crop top and shorts underneath. Since the look was all black, I added a bit of contrast with a couple of camel details. I got the bag during Miami Fashion Week- where I met this amazing venezuelan brand called Chesty…the have the cutest clutches.

I always get a lot of questions on how to make our background very blurry; since Gabo is a photographer too, we invested in a professional camera. However, I have been playing with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and there's a super cool feature called "Selective Focus" that helps achieve this effect. I'm going to take outfit pics with it so you can see how it looks. I think it's a great tools for bloggers, especially when we don't want to carry the heavy camera around.

¡La humedad en Miami estos últimos días no ha sido normal…ha estado lloviendo y mucho pero mucho calor! Por eso quise combinar este top súper fresco con unos shorts y croo top debajo. El look es básicamente todo negro, con unos toques color camel. La cartera es de una marca venezolana llamada Chesty- los conocí durante Miami Fashion Week y me encantó su trabajo.

Siempre me preguntan que como hago que el fondo en mi fotos sea borroso; ya que Gabo es fotógrafo, invertimos en una cámara profesional. Pero descubrí una función en mi Samsung Galaxy S5 llamada "Selective Focus" que ayuda a crear el mismo efecto. Voy a tomar uno de mis próximos looks con el celular para probar que tal queda…así no tengo que cargar la cámara pesada a todos lados.
