¡Hola Hola! Como les conté estuve en Palm Springs junto a Target viendo la colección de verano/trajesa de baño del 2016. Nos quedamos en un hotel llamado "Parker"- espectacularmente bello...ojalá hubiésemos podido quedarnos ahí al menos un mes (¡¡uno puede soñar!!)

Nuestro primer día, llegamos un poco cansados porque el vuelo desde Miami es largo...pero después de descansar un rato y explorar el hotel, cenamos con el equipo de Target, las editoras de revistas y websites, y otras blogueras. El segundo día fuimos a una caminata en el Indian Canyon (pueden ver el artículo completo de esta experiencia, haciendo click po acá); de ahí nos fuimos directo a la casa de vacaciones de Leonardo Dicaprio...nada más con escribir su nombre me imagino que se imaginarán lo bella de la casa. En el area del jardín/piscina, Target puso 4 meses con las 4 tendencias más importantes para el verano.  ¡¡Todos los estilos estaban hermosos!! También me encanta como Target no solo se enfoca en los cuerpos de modelo- porque todas tenemos cuerpos apropiados para bikinis y nunca debemos dejar de hacer actividades (como ir a la playa) por sentir que no tenemos el cuerpo perfecto.

Así que hoy me voy a sentar con ustedes y contarles sobre estas 4 tendencias, como las utilicé yo y unos tips extras de como tu puedes usarlas.

Last month we asked you if you would like to see more editorial pics...the answers were a definite yes...so here's another one!! This helps me switch from streetstyle styling to a more editorial magazine type of styling (plus it's fun to be a model wannabe). It also helps Gabo grow as a photographer... sometimes we feel we are a little stuck in streetstyle. During my styling classes in the university; the professor said is perfectly fine to "copy" another shoots when you are developing as a stylist- then you'll find your own voice or style. A while ago I saw an amazing editorial with huge turbans, tribal accessories, and fun prints...so this one is our interpretation. When we were heading out of the apartment, I was like "please God don't let anybody get in the elevator with us... I felt like a crazy lady with the turban and lots of accesories. We are very happy with the final result and I hope you like it too! XOXO

Hace un tiempito les preguntamos si les gustaría ver sesiones de fotos un poquito más editoriales... y nos dijeron que si!!. Esto me ayuda a practicar un estilismo más editorial (y me divierte un poco jugar a ser modelo por el día), y también ayuda a Gaby como fotógrafo. En una de mis clases de estilismo en la universidad el profesor mencionó que cuando uno está practicando, es totalmente aceptable "copiar" o inspirarse en algo ya hecho (claro dándole tu toque). Hace un tiempo vi un editorial espectacular con turbante, estampados tribales, y accesorios llamativos...y esta fue nuestra interpretación.  Cuando salí del apartamento con el turbante puesto, lo único que hice fue cruzar dedos para que nadie se montara en el ascensor...me sentía como una loca con tantos accesorios y el turbante. Ambos quedamos muy contentos con el resultado y esperamos que les gusten las fotos.

I have to admit that I have a couple of outfits ready to go (but I can't publish them until they are featured in a super cool website, so excited about that! and I'm still not sure when it's going to be up). So for now, I wanted to show you these pics from a photoshoot I did with Furor Moda a couple of weeks ago- specially because I loved this outfit and the background we chose for it. I also wanted to invite all of the Miami/South Florida girls to a fashion show Furor Moda is having next week (Tati is trying to make me model, but I don't know! I'm definitely not a model). Les tengo que admitir que tengo varios outfits acumulados que no puedo publicar (ya que van a salir en una página de moda bastante conocida... **que emoción** y todavía no se cuando va a salir). Así que por ahora comparto  más fotitos de mi sesión de fotos con Furor Moda de hace unas semanas- especialmente me encantaron estas fotos y estoy enamorada de esta falda larga tribal. También quería aprovechar esta oportunidad para invitar a todas las que viven en Miami a un show de moda que va a tener Furor la semana que viene (Tati me esta intentando convencer para que modele, pero me da mucha pena- yo no soy modelo!). I did this look completely around the top- I guess I felt inspired by the earth tones and tribal print of it (and what's more tribal that the print + fringes + feathers). At the beginning of this week, Miami was a little chilly (at least for "almost-May")- but by Thrusday, everything was back to normal. I wore this to go to a smoothie place around my house with Chiqui and Gaby, I swear they have they most delicious banana bread! Right now, I have no idea what's going on with my blog (all I can see is error in the pictures) but I asked on Twitter and everyone told me it looks fine! Este look lo nice totalmente alrededor de la camisa, creo que sus tonos crema/cafés y estampado tribal me inspiraron a armar el resto del outfit (¡¡que más tribal que flecos, ese estampado y plumas!!). Ya que solo iba a salir a pasar un rato con mi novio y chiki, quería un look sencillo, cómodo y fresco para el calor de Miami. Fuimos a un sitio que nos encanta de Smoothies y aparte tienen una torta de cambur/banana exquisita. Ahorita no se que le pasa a mi compu, me sale "error" en todas las fotos del blog y no se pueden ver, pero les estuve preguntando en Twitter y todo parece estar bien. Cuéntenme que les pareció el outfit! FELIZ VIERNES!!!
