I haven't done a celebrity inspired look in a while...but they are always fun to do. As I have mentioned earlier, I really like Olivia's style- I think she's a great at mixing trends, textures, and pieces. As soon as I saw this denim skirt, I remembered this look from Olivia and I wanted to recreate...with my own twist of course. The pieces are not identical, but the look has the same vibe: denim skirt with front buttons, a denim shirt, oversized brown bag, and strappy heels. I wore this before the Swim Week craziness and I forgot to post it- I wore it to have dinner with one of my close friends from Fashion School, Hope you have an amazing week!!

TenÃa mucho tiempo sin hacer un look inspirado en una celebridad. Como les he mencionado anteriormente, me encanta el estilo de Olivia Palermo- me encanta como mezcla tendencias, texturas, y piezas. Apenas vi esta falda de botones, me recordé de este look de Olivia y quise recrearlo... a mi estilo, por supuesto. La base del look es básicamente la misma: falda de mezclilla con botones, camisa de denim, zapatos de tiritas, y una cartera grande. Esto lo utilicé antes de la Semana Swim en Miami pero se me habÃa olvidado publicarlo- lo usé para ir a comer con una amiga de la universidad en mi restaurante favorito! ¡¡Les deseo una semana hermosÃsima!!!
A couple of months ago, I begged Gaby to do a celebrity inspired look with me (we did Kourtney and Scott, click here if you haven't seen it)- we had so much fun so we decided we wanted to do it more often. This time we chose Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend Johannes Huebl- I love her style, she always looks so put together... and apparently.. her boyfriend too. As you can see, the pieces are not identical- it's all about the general feeling of the outfit. Let's talk about the price- just Olivia's bag is over $12,000, while my whole look (including sunglasses and watch) is $240. About our day: we had lunch with his family and then we headed to a frozen yogurt place, Then, something came over me and I started "remodeling the house"- I want to even move the furniture. Last night I asked everyone if you wanted to see a celebrity inspired look or more outfits from Chicago- I'm going to publish all of them anyways :) . For my styling class, we had to do 3 celebrity inspired outfits- I chose Olivia Palermo because I LOVE her style. I spent most of my afternoon organizing outfits (my floor was a complete disaster but it was fun). This time, I wanted to recreate Olivia's look- I love that it is very classy but the different textures make it modern too. Let's talk numbers: Olivia's Hermes Birkin costs more than $5,000- my total look is under $190!

Les pregunté por Facebook y twitter si preferÃan ver otro look inspirado en una celebridad o más fotos de Chicago- de todas formas voy a publicarlos todos eventualmente. Para mi clase de styling tenÃamos que hacer 3 looks inspirados en una celebridad, asà que pasé la tarde de ayer tomando fotos y planeando los outfits (tenÃan que ver mi cuarto con outfits organizados por todo el cuarto). En esta ocasión quise copiar este look de Olivia Palermo, me encanta que es super clásico pero la mezcla de texturas lo hace ver super moderno. Ahora hablemos de la diferencia de precio: su Hermes Birkin sobrepasa los $5 mil dólares- mientras que mi look total cuesta aproximadamente: $187.
