We are almost done with the posts from the cruise...I still have one with a night outfit recap and one from the last day, the day we got off the cruise. I wore this on the last stop: ARUBA!! I absolutely love Aruba. Last year we spent a week and New Years in Aruba. Since we already knew the island, we headed straight to the beach to enjoy the last day and try to tan as much as possible. As a cover up, I wore this comfy and light dress from Maaji; and in the beach, a gorgeous bikini from  Luli Fama. XOXO!!

Ya casi se acaban los post del crucero..todavía me queda un artículo con un resumen de mis looks en la noche y otro del último día. Esto lo utilicé en la última parada: ¡ARUBA! Aruba también me gusta muchísimo... ¿se acuerdan que el año pasado pasé una semana en Aruba con mi papás? Como ya conocíamos la isla, nos fuimos directo a la playa, donde pasamos toda la tarde. Ahí intenté tomar la mayor cantidad de sol posible- ¡aprovechando que era el último día de playa! Para caminar un poco por el pueblo utilicé este vestido largo de Maaji, y en la playa un traje de baño espectacular de Luli Fama. ¡Un abrazo grandísimo!!

Today has been a little crazy, I started moving furniture around because I want my apartment to have a small makeover... I just want to make it a little cozy, and more me. I didn't even realize how late it was and I have to run to an event in a couple of minutes. So here's a quick post with a simple look from the second day in Aruba (this is what I actually wore with my one-piece underneath). After a couple of hours on the beach, we walked around the bay and ended at a small mall. So this is officially the last look from Aruba... can't wait to share the pics we have taken in Miami this week! XOXO

Hoy he estado a millón moviendo muebles y planeando para hacer de mi apartamento un poco más acogedor...sin darme cuenta se hizo de noche y tengo que irme en un ratito a un evento. Pero no quiero dejar de publicar alguito, así que les muestro el look super simple que usé el segundo día en Aruba sobre mi traje de baño entero. Después de estar un rato en la playa, nos fuimos a caminar por la zona hotelera y terminamos en un centro comercial.  Ahora si que se acabaron los looks de Aruba y ya quiero compartir con ustedes las fotos que hemos tomado en Miami esta semana. Un abrazo grandísimo!!!

I was in Aruba from the December 28th to January 4th- and I can't believe I'm still posting looks from it. I think this is going to be the last one- even though I have a simple one from the first day... we'll see! To end up the amazing trip, we decided to go on a catamaran around the island. It started very early in the mornig, we had breakfast and lunch there, and it even stopped in three places to do some scuba diving/snorkeling.  I feel like the best way to tan is to start with the "biggest" swimsuit and they end with the smallest. I got this bikini at H&M just before traveling and there were just 4 models in the store. I guess I wasn't the only one doing some last minute-bikini-shopping since there was one girl in the catamaran with the exact same swimsuit! Estuve en Aruba desde el 28 de diciembre hasta el 4 de enero y no se como es posible que se me acumularon tantos posts! Creo que termino con este- aunque tengo uno normalito del primero de Aruba que tal vez comparta más adelante. Este es un pequeño resúmen de mi último día en Aruba- quisimos cerrar con un broche de oro y agarrar un catamarán por la isla. Salimos en la mañanita, desayunamos, almorzamos, e hizo 3 paradas para bucear. Siento que la mejor forma de tomar sol es empezar con el traje de baño más grande (en mi caso comencé con uno entero) y luego ir disminuyendo el tamaño. Este es de H&M, y como les conté: fue parte de una compra a última hora antes del viaje y solo habían 4 modelos en esa tienda. Creo que no fui la única que pensó así porque en el catamarán ese día había una muchacha con el MISMO traje de baño. Espero que disfruten las fotos de la isla! ¡Les deseo un fin de semana espectacular! ¡¡Abrazos!!

The perfect way to  end 2012 was with something on my bucket list: going on a submarine. It was so much fun: we got to see a lot fishes and even two sunken ships. After that, we walked around Aruba's capital- and finally, we came back to the hotel to get ready for the New Year's party. During the day, I picked this flowy black dress with cut-outs on the side ( the dress is on sale for $16!!).. and my favorite hat. Hope you enjoy the pics below! XOXO

¿Qué mejor forma de terminar el 2012 que haciendo algo diferente? El 31 de diciembre nos montamos en un submarino. El paseo estuvo cheverísimo; vimos muchísimos peces y dos barcos hundidos. Luego  estuvimos paseando por la capital de Aruba.. y finalmente regresamos a descansar antes  de prepararnos para receibir el año nuevo. Para este día utilicé un vestido negro muy fresco para la playa  (que por cierto, esta rebajado  por solo $16) y mi sombrero de ala ancha(que fue mi mejor amigo durante el viaje). I hope you are still not bored with my beach/extra-summer looks- because I'm just in day three of my eight days in Aruba. For all of you that are not familiar with Aruba- it is a small island just 17 miles from the Venezuelan coast. Like most Caribbean island, it's such spectacular... nothing like the blue of the Caribbean beaches. I wore this on December 30th for another day of sun, sand, and swimming. This bikini was the other suit my parents gave me for Christmas. Like I told you, I was looking for different silhouettes and I really like the "corset" feeling of the top. This one is fully reversible, it has red and a different floral print on the inside. Finally, I finished the look with a fun headband from OhNena. So sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I was traveling back to Miami  and I was extremely tired by the time I got home.  Hope you are having a fantastic week, I already started school . XOXO

Espero no estarlas aburriendo con tantos looks de playa- pero como les conté, estuve 8 días en Aruba. Aruba es una pequeña isla a 17 millas o 27 km de la costa de Venezuela. Al igual que la mayoría de las playas del Caribe, es un espectáculo. Esto fue lo que utilicé el 30 de diciembre- otro día de mucha playa, mucho sol, y mucho descanso. El traje de baño fue, al igual que ESTE, mi regalo de niño Jesus/ Navidad. Como les mencioné, estaba buscando modelos distintos- y me gustó mucho que fuese tipo corset. Este es totalmente reversible, por dentro tiene colores rojos/naranjas y otro tipo de estampado floral. Finalicé el look con otra cintita de OhNena- esta me encanta para la playa. Ayer no pude publicar porque estuve todo el día viajando y llegué cansadísima- pero ya estoy en Miami, corriendo con las clases. Abrazos grandísimos!

Here's another look from my third day in Aruba- what I wore to the beach with my bathing suit underneath. Even though, we always had lunch by the sea... I don't like eating in just a bikini- it feels weird. I wore this floral top the night before with a neon skirt and I felt like rewearing for the beach with these extremely short shorts. I tried wearing these shorts in Miami but I didn't feel comfortable... I guess they are not too short for the beach. Oh btw in Aruba, I read LA Candy ( by Lauren Conrad), and I really liked it. It gives you a sneak peek on what really happens behind reality shows and the characters are well written. Hope you liked this simple look for a day at the beach! XOXO

Aquí les traigo otro look del tercer día en Aruba- lo que usé encima del traje de baño para estar en la playa e ir a almorzar en la zona hotelera. Ya había usado esta camisa de flores la noche anterior para cenar, así que quise "terminar de ensuciarla" en la playa. Para Aruba, me llevé estos shorts que no me he atrevido a usar en Miami porque...como pueden ver, son MUY MUY cortos (pero supongo que es un corto aceptable en la playa). En Aruba estuve leyendo el libro de Lauren Conrad, LA Candy- y me encantó... te da como un detrás de cámara de lo que sucede de verdad en los reality shows y los personajes están bien hechos. Espero que les haya gustado este look super casual para la playa. Un abrazo inmenso!!
