Finally after two days of pre-Swim parties and runways...the official Mercedes Benz Fashion Week just started. Thankfully, we had a gorgeous day without any rain... I hope it'll be the same way the rest of the weekend. My day started at the TRESemmé suite for the second hairstyle of the tutorial series that I'll be uploading next week. The "theme" of this hairstyle was creating a transitional hair-do that would last the craziness of running from one show to another, and even to the after parties late at night (and that's without considering the humidity and heat). So we started making my hair as straight as possible- since that's the look we always aim for, but doesn't work as planned (especially if your hair is as curly as mine). Then Tyler showed me how to do a cool updo by just twisting a fishtail braid- by the way, fishtail braids are easier to do than you think, he even made me finish it to prove that you don't need to be a hair stylist to do it. Remember to come back next week for the tutorials, can't wait to edit them and show them to you.

About my outfit: Tati from Furor Moda was wearing the black version of this skort yesterday- and I was like: "now I want to wear mine", which as you can see it's white. I ended up pairing it with a simple white tee, a faux-leather vest, cool sandals, and some gorgeous earrings.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go backstage, interview the Agua Bendita designers, go to the Dolores Cortes show, and have dinner with the designers from Mikoh. It was an amazing day.

Have a great weekend!!
