I’ll never get tired of saying it: BE.YOUR.AUTHENTIC.SELF!
For a while I thought it was about ORIGINALITY; then I realized that nobody does it like you do. Take a trend and make it your own. Take your talent and make it YOURS. Whatever you do; if you put your heart to it, nothing will come even close.
If you ask me for a timeless print, I’d probably say STRIPES! So how can we make them fun for Spring 2019!? For the second part of this campaign with Walmart and ShopStyle that encourages you to show your unique style from corner to corner of the country, let’s talk about how to update your favorite print without hurting your wallet. Plus, I love how Walmart has a great selection of fashionable pieces for your personal style.
So, I’m updating my stripes by:
- Wearing them in a fun jumpsuit. You can dress it up with heels. Make it casual with a jean jacket, and rock and roll with a leather jacket. The possibilities are endless.
- Adding white sneakers. I’m a big fan of white sneakers, especially when paired with unexpected stylish pieces.
- Playing with pastel colors, not only in the print of the jumpsuit but also by adding the pastel pink round bag!
This look was perfect for a little stroll in the Design District. Another great area in Miami where you can find delicious restaurants and cafes (and some amazing photo spots!)

I already told you ALL ABOUT MY BABY shower (Don't forget to check it out HERE). However, like I mentioned, there was a lot planning behind it. At least two trips to the Dollar Tree, two to Target, one to Walmart, Home Depot, the flower shop, etc.
This meant lots of walking, and for a pregnant lady, that means the comfiest shoes possible. Let's break it down piece by piece!
Ya les conté todo sobre mi Baby Shower (pasen por acá si no lo han visto). Pero como les mencioné, hubo mucho corazón planeando todo. También muchos viajes a tiendas como la Dollar Store, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, floristerías, etc.
Esto significaba looks cómodos pero ustedes me conocen, me canso de los leggings rápidamente. Les cuento pieza por pieza:
The dress is from Alice + Olivia; so easy to dress up and to dress down. You cannot go wrong with a denim jacket to dress down a floral dress. I got it during the store preview in a size bigger so I could wear it while the belly grew. I think I doesn't fit anymore but I can't wait to wear it after baby.
This denim jacket has been with me even before the blog. It used to be a dark denim wash but Gabe helped me bleached it. In my opinion, the lighter was is a bit more timeless! I think it's time for a Remix with it!! There are probably so many looks with it and since 2011. Would you still like to see it?
The light pink bag is from Rebecca Minkoff but I designed it. This was one of my OMG-I can't-Believe-It campaigns. I got to design a bag inspired by Miami. I'm definitely proud of the thing I've got to do.

My niece and my nephew live in Chile (You can see all my posts visiting them HERE). We see each other once a year- well, twice if we are lucky. This means that I love to make sure I'm bonding with them so they won't forget me until we see each other again. You would see me playing random games, and running around.
So here are 10 of my favorite AUNT moments from the past trip to Ecuador:
1. My nephew carrying a gift for my baby while saying "Any this is for your baby" I almost melted.
2. My niece learning how to do makeup- she is such a girly girl and loves to do everyone's makeup. She would also ask me to put red lipstick on her (which I wouldn't because my brother would kill me)
3. Borrowing my older brother's collective toys for a bit because my nephew couldn't understand how his uncle had toys but wouldn't play with them.
4. Apparently my niece loves gum so we would steal mints and gum from my mom's purse. She would find it hilarious to be all mischievous.
5. Seeing Gabe run around with both of them until they complained about starting to sweat haha.
6. I laughed a lot because my niece wouldn't understand how there was a baby in my belly. She kept saying to me that I look small. At the time I was 20 weeks pregnant.
7. Seeing my nephew play superheroes with my brother. They were dad-son goals! It makes me super excited to meet my baby boy.
8. Feeding the birds with my niece at this park. We were laughing SO hard. I'm terrified of birds but I was trying to look all strong for her.
9. Collecting seashells at the seashore so they could decorate their sandcastles!
10. My niece screaming while driving away saying "TE AMO DANI". She has a big personality so saying that was priceless. SO SWEET!

Fitness is an on-going state of mind, it can be easy to lose track. I personally love writing out mini goals every month; it can be trying out a new class or going meat-less for a week. I also love treating myself from time to time to a few pieces of athletic wear, that not only keep me inspired but also work for casual occasions. So today, I want to tell you my favorite shopping destination for Athletic-wear: FINISH LINE.
Personally, I love the athleisure trend. I love how it is totally acceptable to wear sneakers and athletic wear for the everyday. So today I want to show you how the pieces I got at Finish Line work for running errands, working out, to travel, and more.
Life isn't the big moments, life isn't about waiting for graduation, that big promotion at work, that cool vacation, or the big wedding. Life is all that happens in between these "big" moments- and they are worth appreciating.
Here are some of my favorite little things in life:
1. Morning cuddles with Chiki and Gabe. This is probably my favorite little moment ever. I absolutely love waking up and appreciating another day together. Totally guilty of pressing the snooze button a few times just to spend more time with them.
2. Walks or rides in the park. I live right in front of the ocean, and there's nothing like crossing the street and just hearing the ocean (plus I've been lucky enough to see dolphins from time to time!). I'm been trying to ride my bike more often, it's just liberating.
3. Wearing that special jewelry or bag whenever I want. Sometimes we invest in a piece but keep it in the original bag until we have "something" special. I'm the other way. I'm an advocate for wearing your favorite pieces all day every day! Here I'm wearing the TOUS collection Ivette; so dainty, so beautiful. Perfect for the every day AND for a special occasion with that beautiful outfit.
La vida es lo que pasa mientras esperamos por los momentos más importantes: por esa graduación, ese ascenso en el trabajo, la vacación esperada, o la boda soñada. Pero la vida es todo lo que pasa entre esos momentos grandes- y estos mini momentos son los que debemos apreciar más.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas de mis cositas favoritas:
1. Abrazos mañaneros con Chiki y Gabe. Creo que es mi momento favorito de todos los días. Amo despertarme y apreciar otro día juntos. Soy culpable de darle al botón de "snooze" más de lo que debería para que este momento dure lo más posible.
2. Paseos en el parque. Soy super afortunada de vivir tan cerca del mar, y no hay nada como cruzar la calle, ver el puerto y oír al mar (aparte he tenido días extra especiales, que estos paseos terminan con delfines a la vista). También he estado intentando manejar mi bici más, es tan relajante.
3. Usar ese accesorio, ropa, o cartera cuando quieras sin ninguna razón específica. Hay ocasiones donde guardamos esa pieza para algo "especial". Pero yo creo que deberíamos hacer lo contrario, si ahorraste para una joyita o una cartera, úsala TODOS los días que quieras. Aquí estoy usando la collección Ivettte de Tous; muy delicada, perfecta para el día y la noche, para una ocasión especial o para el día a día.
The Magic Of Disney World- Cinderella's Castle

This week we headed to Orlando for a fun experience with Disney Springs- used to be called Downtown Disney for the fellow folks like me who were confused about this change.
I'll be sharing all the fun from this trip soon, but I first want to get "of the way" these amazing pictures of Disney. I've been super intense with them on my IG and I want to make sure all the Disney stuff is shared before going back to reality. Honestly, why life can't be as magical!!?
This trip was a little different. I have not being to Disney since 2009, I think. This time I was looking a lot at the kids (definitely baby fever, not ashamed to admit it). My heart would melt by the way they would smile, wave, blow kisses at the Disney characters. It also reminded me of the times I was in their place and how simple life used to be (randomly, I remember the castle being way bigger...but that happens!)
I was very impressed by the amount of people. We are not officially in high season since the kids are not out of school yet , but I swear the park could not fit another soul but people kept arriving!
About my outfit: it was crazy hot. I tried to kept it as cool as possible. I wore my bandana on the neck but I felt I was choking of hotness, so I put it in my wrist eventually. I should have worn shorts instead of a denim skirt- but I swear I could move around and sit (plus I always wear shorts underneath...no panty accidents over here).

Esta semana fuimos a Orlando a un viaje muy divertido junto a Disney Springs- antes conocido como Downtown Disney.
Pronto les contaré todo bien de esa experiencia, también les mostré mi outfit en Disney Springs y del roadtrip. Pero no podía esperar por compartir estas fotos; he estado mega intensa con Disney- ¿pero es que cómo NO? Es un sitio tan mágico.
No se si es parte de la "fiebre de bebés" en mi, pero este viaje lo vi de otra manera. Me fijé mucho en la cara de los niños: esa emoción, esa inocencia tan bonita. Durante el desfile se me derretía el corazón con los niños lanzándole besos, saludando y sonriendo a los muñecos. Me recordó a esos paseos cuando era niña con mi familia (recordaba el castillo más grande, pero eso es muy común)- ¡y eso siempre me pone sentimental!.
También me impresionó la cantidad de gente, todavía no estamos oficialmente en temporada alta (los niños no están de vacaciones todavía). Y les juro que en ese parque no cabía un alma, y seguía llegando y llegando gente.
De mi outfit, intente ir lo más cómoda y fresca posible porque el calor ya esta infernal. Me había puesto mi pañuelo en el cuello pero tuve que ponérmelo estilo "Fey" porque sentí que me sofocaba. En un momento hubiese preferido estar en short que en falda, pero me pude mover tranquila y siempre uso shorts debajo para evitar cualquier accidente.

You know when you forget you have certain item, but then you find it at the end of your drawer and then yo can't stop wearing it. Yeah, that's what happened to me with these ripped white boyfriend jeans.
I remember when I got them I thought they were so so ripped- trends change and I don't find them as crazy ripped (maybe it's me who is getting crazier).
For an all white look, I paired the jeans with my favorite off-the-shoulder top. I've worn them SO MANY TIMES. I should check and do a remix. What do you guys think?
I wore this for a cheat day doing some errands. A little friend chicken and iced tee didn't hurt anybody! It was such a casual day but I loved the colors of this photos and I really wanted to share them!
¿Sabes cuando tienes una pieza en el closet olvidada? Eso fue lo que me pasó con este jean. Lo tenía botado al fondo de una gaveta y ahora quiero usarlos todo el tiempo. Son cómodos y edgys al mismo tiempo.
Recuerdo que cuando los compré los veía extremadamente rotos- no se si es como las tendencias han cambiado tanto y ahora se ven TAN rotos, los veo normales (¡díganme que no soy la única!!)
Para un look todo blanco, los combiné con mi top favorito con los hombros al descubierto. No estoy segura si he hecho un remix con este top. Lo que si se es que lo he usado hasta más no poder.
Esto lo usé para el típico día de "cheat day" mientras hacía mil diligencias. Un día de pollo frito y té con azúcar no le hace daño a nadie. Quería compartir estas fotos porque realmente me encantaron los colores! Les mando un abrazo!!
I used to be a high-heels type of girl… I blamed it on my 5’2 frame. Over the years, I’ve learned to LOVE and embrace my petite height …and this self-love opened the shoe world options in so many ways. I became obsessed with sneakers, with flat boots, cool flats, espadrilles, sandals…everything!

Si me siguen desde hace mucho saben que yo era de esas que no iba a ningún lado sin tacones. Con el pasar de los años he aprendido a aceptar mi altura...y en ese momento me volví adicta a los zapatos bajitos: de goma, botines, alpargatas, sandalias..TODO.

Today I have a million things to do. I work better at night...I'm one of those night owls whose mind only works after 10pm. So today's post will be short and sweet but I'm keeping my promise!
This outfit is full of pieces that I've had on repeat. These pieces HAVE to be in your wardrobe no matter your style: white sneakers, a chunky sweater, a leather jacket, a classic handbag that goes with everything, and jeans (these are petite so I feel like I finally got a pair that fits like a cropped pair!). A remix is definitely on the way.
Talking about remixes; I promise that those are coming back soon. I want to share more content...more his and hers, maybe even "get the celebrity look for less". Let me know what you think, what you want to see.
There were a couple of things in my life that I feel they were holding me back...feeling not as inspired as I should have. But here I am and I'm coming for you haha.

Hoy tengo muchas cositas que hacer, pero no quiero dejar de actualizar el blog como les prometí. Soy de esas que trabaja mejor cuando es "a último momento", y de las que la mente le funciona mejor después de las 10pm. Nunca me van a ver trabajando a las 8 am, por gusto.
Este outfit lo he tenido en "repeat" porque esta lleno de piezas básicas...de las que siempre hablo que tienen que tener en su closet...de las que debería hacer un "remix" pronto.
Hablando del "remix", les prometo que regresamos con eso también. También quiero regresar con más contenido como el de antes- ya he estado publicando el "his and hers" con Gabo, y estoy pensando la sección del look por menos de las celebridades...¿ustedes que opinan?

Before heading South we went to a small tow called Monterey. There was a beautiful historic town with a fisherman's warf.

Si había un lugar que Gabo estaba muy emocionado por ver era Big Sur...y de verdad que es un sueño.
Fuimos a un pequeño pueblo antes de seguir bajando por la costa que se llamaba Monterey (fuimos a la parte histórica), y era un muelle de pescadores con muchos restaurantes y tienditas.
¡Espero que disfruten las fotos y disculpen que me tarde tanto en subirlas!
Our official first top in northern California was "Los Gatos" because a dear friend and blogger lives there (Flor from Flor de Maria Fashion). It was a pretty small town. I love how California has such pretty small towns and cities. As you can see, I was still in "airport attire" but I love this comfy outfit for every day too.

Una de nuestras primeras paradas en California fue "Los Gatos" para visitar a mi queridisima amiga Flor de Flor de Maria Fashion. Es un pueblo pequeño a 40 min de San Francisco, que me pareció muy pero muy lindo. Aquí todavía estaba vestida de aeropuerto, por eso el toque cómodo.

Yay finally I'm making myself update the blog every day because I have so much to share.
These photos are form last months. I've only shared one look from our trip to Chile...head over to Photo Diary Day #1 to see what we were doing Down South...I'll slowly share them all!
Just a quick reminder because some people forget...the seasons are the opposite in the South, last month it was the beginning of Fall there. That's why you will see looks with over-the-knee boots and jackets.
This day we went to brunch to a beautiful area in Santiago. We went with my brother, his wife and children, my parents, and some cousins that life there too. After eating (so delicious by the way), we ended up walking around and we found the perfect world map (we have been looking for one and we finally found it!). I just have to find a frame for it and the living room has a perfect space for it.

OK finalmente me estoy poniendo al día... me estoy obligando a mi misma a actualizar el blog todos los días para no seguir atrasándome.
Estas fotos son del mes pasado. Creo que solo he compartido un look de nuestro viaje a Chile (pasen por ahí para ver le por que de este viaje) + el del día de las madres. Pero estuvimos allá 6 días..así que poco a poco les iré compartiendo más.
Les recuerdo que en Chile (y en todo el sur) las estaciones son al contrario...en estas fechas estaban entrando en otoño; por esta razón van a ver looks con botas altas y chaqueticas.
Este día nos fuimos de brunch con unos primos que también vive allá. Estuvimos caminando por la zona y encontramos un mapa mundi en tela que no podía dejar pasar (ahora tengo que buscarle un marco para ponerlo en la sala...creo que va a quedar hermoso <3)
