I know I know! It feels like I was just in Orlando but yes, I went back again for BlogHER.

BlogHer is the biggest woman conference in the U.S- with a focus on lifestyle and mom blogging. It was so inspiring to hear their stories. I also saw panels with Serena Williams and Laurie Hernandez (wow!).

I went with a group of 8 girls, and we all stayed in a house (very reality tv of us). But it was so much fun! We cooked, drank wine by the pool, went shopping...and of course, we headed to DISNEY on our last day there.

Our first stop was Animal Kingdom. I have not been there since 1999 when it opened and I was excited to see all the new attractions, especially Avatar. Which by the way, it is INCREDIBLE! I have not seen a 3D simulator like that, you have to go!

Then we headed for Magic Kingdom for the classic pictures by the castle and to see the fireworks! But it started pouring and I was exhausted! But here are some pictures of the day! Hope you like them...what do you think of my Mickey overload?

Lo sé, parece que estuve en Disney hace una semana. Pero es que volví a ir a Orlando para una conferencia llamada BlogHER, y aprovechamos.

Les cuento un poco de la conferencia, la cual es la conferencia de mujeres bloggers más grande del mundo. Uno sale de ahí inspirada y con ganas de seguir trabajando más duro que nunca. Dos paneles que me encantaron fue el de Serena Williams y Laurie Hernandez, increíble.

Fui con un grupo de 8 mujeres y todas nos quedamos juntas en un AirbnB (parecíamos un reality show). Cocinamos, paseamos, tomamos vino en la piscina que teníamos...y teníamos que ir a Disney todas juntas.

Nuestra primera parada fue Animal Kingdom. Yo no había ido desde que abrieron en 1999 y estaba muy contenta de ver las nuevas atracciones. De verdad que les recomiendo la de Avatar, quedé impresionada.

Después nos fuimos a Magic Kingdom para tomar fotos cliché con el castillo y ver los fuegos artificiales, pero empecé a llover durísimo y nos fuimos. Les dejo unas fotitos, cuéntenme que les pareció!

Hace 2 años descubrí los bralette de Victoria's Secret PINK y no he dejado de usarlos (los tengo en muchísimos colores). Son comodísimos, y el toque de encaje se ve muy lindo debajo de camisas transparentes o con la espalda al aire. Ahora también vienen con Push-up; y definitivamente no puede faltar en tu klozet esta primavera (aparte los colores están muy vibrantes y primaverales). El VICTORIA'S SECRET PINK Push-up bralette se puede usar como un crop top o debajo de tu blusa favorita y con tus shorts a la cintura favoritos. Yo agregué un sombrero y un kimono con estampado para un toque bohemio. ¿ya están listas para la primavera? BESOS!!

A couple of days before our trip to Culebra, we got a little worried because of the weather forecast...it said we were going to have thunderstorms every single day. Thankfully, it wasn't like that- the only day that actually rained a lot was this one... a Sunday. Even though we couldn't go to the beach, we had so much fun playing board games the whole morning. After lunch we headed to the "town" since a couple of our friends were coming back because of work/school. You have no idea how stressful it was, the ferry was full and there weren't any flights... we spent hours and hours with them making sure they would find a way back home! In the morning a wore this neon maxi dress with a hat (I know I know, it was raining but hats keep my little afro in place). Then I changed to black overalls and comfy shoes to go to the town.  I don't have as many pics from this day in comparison to the rest (Gabo treats his camera like a baby...so imagine when it's raining).  I hope you like them!!

Unos días antes de viajar a Culebra nos "preocupamos" porque el pronóstico del tiempo decía que iba a llover todos los días que ibamos a estar allá. Afortunadamente no fue así, solo nos llovío uno de los cuatro días... en otras palabras este día, un domingo. Aunque la lluvia no nos dejó ir a la playa, nos quedamos jugando juegos de mesa toda la mañana. Luego pasamos la tarde en el pueblo ya que la mitad del grupo que fue, se regresa a sus respectivas ciudades para trabajar el Lunes. Esto fue muy estresante porque el ferry estaba lleno, los vuelos todos vendidos... y pasamos horas acompañándolos y asegurándonos que regresaran sanos a tierra firme. Durante la mañana utilicé este vestidito neón con un sombrero (que aunque no había sol, el sombrero me ayuda con mi afro jajaja). Luego para ir al pueblo, me cambié a unas braga negra con un traje de baño completo debajo. Como estuvo lloviendo tanto, son pocas las fotos en comparación al resto de los artículos de Culebra- pero igual espero que les gusten!

I wanted to spread the posts from Culebra so there was a little variety to the blog- I didn't want so many swimsuit posts together. As I told you before, I was in Puerto Rico with a couple of friends (my boyfriend and some of my friends are from Puerto Rico). These pics are from the second day, which was the most gorgeous in terms of weather...and we spent the WHOLE day at the beach. We ate, tanned, jumped from the boat..and had so much fun! About the otufits: I originally wanted to wear this polka dotted swimsuit with the big bows- which is actually very flattering on small booties like mine...and well, the big bow on the back is just too cute. However, I need we were going to be jumping around...so I changed to a bikini that wouldn't fall off that easily. I hope you like the pictures! XOXO

Quise esparcir los artículos de Culebra para no aburrirlas con tantos posts playeros con trajes de baño. Como les conté, estuve en la isla con un grupo de amigos y la pasamos espectacular. El segundo día fue el día que más aprovechamos en la playa como tal...nos hizo un día hermosísimo y la playa parecía un paraíso. Comimos, tomamos sol, brincamos/payaseamos, y disfrutamos al máximo. Sobre los "outfits"; originalmente quería utilizar este traje de baño de lunares con el lazo atrás- el cual me parece muy favorecedor si no tienes mucho derriere, como yo! (y el lazo es un toque espectacular). Pero lamentablemente sabía que ibamos a estar brincando, y me quise cambiar para la playa como tal. Al igual que el post anterior, espero que las fotos hablen por si solas!

I know this look is very plain- there's isn't anything extremely trendy (well, I love the jacket!). It was one of my days off as a fashion blogger. My parents went to New York to visit me- and I couldn't be any happier. I haven't seen them since Christmas and it was also my dad's birthday. All we did was WALK and EAT- specially on this day. We walked like 30 blocks in Central Park and another 20 to Times Square. Then we headed to Little Italy to eat; and later, I had a reflexology massage in Chinatown (those massages HURT, I had no idea...but it was a cool experience). These Keds became my feet's best friend in New York...you have no idea how comfortable they are. Have an amazing day and enjoy the pics from Central Park!!

Este es un look super relajado- no tiene nada especial (bueno la chaqueta es hermosa- ya la vieron en este look más arregladito). Mis papás fueron a visitarme unos días en Nueva York, y no podía estar más contenta. No los veía desde Navidad y era el cumpleaños de mi papá. Paseamos muchísimo por Nueva York, especialmente este día que caminamos más de 30 cuadras en Central Park y de ahí unas 20 más hasta Times Square. De ahí seguimos hasta Little Italy para ir a comer...y ya estabamos agotados!  Así que terminamos el día con un masaje en Chinatown. Estos Keds de lunares fueron mis mejores amigos en NYC, son los zapatos más cómodos que tengo. Espero que disfruten las fotos de Central park. Un abrazo inmensísimo!

As you already know, I'm still in NYC doing my intership before I graduate in June....and well, I didn't bring a lot of clothes with me. The past couple of weeks, I have being a walking WednesdayRemix- rewearing things over and over. Reason why you already saw this sweater my first week in NYC, and you'll definitely see it again before I go back to Miami. I have been working like never in my life...so I was so excited when Gabo told me he was visiting me. I had so much fun with him...we walked so much around the city. The place I'm staying at is very close to Central Park, just three blocks away- so stopping by Central Park was a must. I absolutely love how the scenery has changed over the past month...I love how the trees are now full of flowers and leaves (you have to remember I was born and raised ...and now live in a place where we don't have seasons. So getting to experience it for the first time is exciting haha). I hope you like the pictures!! XOXO

Como saben, estoy en Nueva York haciendo una pasantía... y bueno, viajé con la menor cantidad de ropa posible. Siento que las ultimas semanas, mi vestimenta ha sido un WednesdayRemix andante- he repetido las mismas piezas infinitas veces. Este suéter lo vieron en mi primer artículo desde NYC, y definitivamente lo van a ver más..así que prepárense. He estado trabajando como nunca en mi vida y de verdad que llego todas las noches agotada. Razón por la cual fue genial que Gabo viniese a visitarme el fin de semana pasado; paseamos como nunca. Central Park queda a tres cuadras de donde me estoy quedando, así que no podía faltar un día paseando por el parque. Cuando llegué a Nueva York, fui al parque y todos los árboles estaban peladitos...me encanta haber vivido la primavera completa acá. No solo el clima está cada día mejor, sino que el paisaje ha cambiado tanto...con todos los árboles llenos de flores ((recuerden que nací en Venezuela y vivo en Miami...en ninguno de estos lugares hay estaciones...por eso mi emoción jaja). ¡Espero que les gusten las fotitos!!! ¡Abrazos!

I have no idea how the weather has been in Miami the past two weeks; but before coming to NYC it was one "cold" week, one warm week. So after being able to wear a light jackets for a while... it was so hot that I just wanted to be wearing a swimsuit the whole day. I guess this is the typical summer outfit: cut off shorts, a light tank (this one lets you breath...pun intended lol), a hat/fedora, and comfy shoes. Talking about comfortable shoes, these are from the Keds...and I swear, they are the comfiest pair of shows I own (plus the polka dot is very cute. I want to get a neutral color pair for all the walking I'm doing in NYC). Since I moved Downtown Miami, I've been looking for the perfect sushi place...and I think we finally did this day. We went to a nice sushi place in Midtown Shops...but if you know any other in the Downtown/Midtown area, let me know! Have an amazing Friday and weekend! XOXO

No se como ha estado el clima las últimas semanas en Miami; pero antes de venir a NYC, era una semana "frío" y la siguiente calor!! Después de varios días donde pude sacar una que otra chaquetica, llegó un calor que ...entre menos ropa mejor! Creo que este es el típico uniforme del verano: unos shorts de jean, una camiseta que respire (esta tiene pulmones, así que es literal jajaj), un sombrero para el sol, y unos zapatos cómodos. Hablando de zapatos cómodos, estos son de la marca Keds... y les juro que son los más zapatos más cómodos que tengo (son extra acolchaditos- los quiero en un color neutral también, especialmente ahora que estoy caminando tanto en NYC). Desde que me mude a Downtown Miami, he estado buscando un lugar de sushi que de verdad me fascine...he ido a uno que otro, pero nada como los que tenía cerca en Doral. Pero creo que este día conseguimos uno en Midtown Shops...si saben de otro en el area de Downtown/Midtown, díganme!! FELIZ VIERNES!!!
