Even though we were exhausted after the long flight and walking a little bit around Madrid; we changed and head out to visit an aunt that lives 30 minutes from Madrid (plus 3 aunts from Venezuela were visiting Spain too). As you can see, there was paella and a lot of food. A little bit about the look" the fact that I'm a "fashion blogger" doesn't mean that I have to create trends. On the other hand, I like looking at other blogs and getting inspired. Alexandra, from Lovely Pepa, is one of my favorites and she posted a look with this shirt that I was definitely drawn to (since I already had the shirt , the leather shorts, and the red bag). However, I definitely made it my own too with booties and a ponytail (it was hotter than expected). I hope you liked the look!! XOXO

Apesar del cansancio de nuestro primer día; después de pasear por Madrid un ratito, nos fuimos a casa de una tía para comer con la familia (3 tías de Venezuela también están de visita). Como pueden ver abajo, había paella!! Les cuento un poquito del look;  el hecho de que yo sea "fashion blogger", no significa que invente tendencias...al contrario, me gusta inspirarme en diferentes fuentes y adaptarlas a mi estilo. Muchas veces les he mencionado que Lovely Pepa es de mis blogueras favoritas-  hace un tiempo ella publicó un look con esta camisa que me gustó mucho. La camisa ya la tenía y no sabía como usarla porque es INMENSA y su look me inspiró a usarla con unos shorts de cuero y la cartera roja (ambas piezas también las tenía). Ahí estuvimos un rato compartiendo y comiendo muchísimo. Espero que les guste el look... MIL ABRAZOS!

I wore this last Saturday to run some important errands before a photoshoot I planned. On Instagram I shared a couple of sneek peaks but if you haven't seen them...it was inspired by the 50s and all the looks had some type of polka dots in them. Beside the clothing, we used a couple of props - a big red chair, a glass coca-cola bottle, a floatie, etc. So this is what I wore to get all of this.... the heel of the bootie is comfy enough and I just felt a little rock-and-roll. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana pasado para hacer mil diligencias antes de una sesión de fotos que hicimos. En instagram puse unos adelantos pero era inspirada en los años 50s y todo con estampado de lunares/pepas. Aparte de la ropa, también usamos una silla, una coca cola de vidrio, un flotador de piscina, etc...que estuvimos buscando y justamente este es un outfit comodísimo para un día de diligencias casuales. Espero que estén disfrutando su fin de semana- en Miami no ha parado de llover, lo que ha hecho difícil tomar fotos...pero ahí veo como l@s mantengo actualizad@s. Un abrazo inmensotote!!

I'm so excited this is my last week of my last quarter in Fashion School (time goes by FAST!). As I have told you, I've been running around doing small errands like printing my resumes/business cards, getting sign holders for my table at the portfolio review etc. The portfolio review is tomorrow..wish me look! After that I stopped by the mall quickly,  I have to admit I haven't been in a mall in a while. For this I chose this fun crochet skirt, a simple black top, and I added a Miami-type of layer with an utility vest... I really like the mix of textures! I hope you liked the look! XOXO

Como les he contado, este es mi último semestre (y bueno esta ya es mi última semana en la universidad...no lo puedo creer). Y he estado a millón haciendo pequeñas diligencias para la revisión de portafolio, ¡¡ que es mañana!! Esto lo utilicé la semana pasada porque no quería dejar todo para último momento. Con esto fui a imprimir mi resume/tarjetas de presentación y también a comprar varias cositas para la mesa donde voy a estar presentando mi portafolio. Luego terminé paseando por el centro comercial...admito que tenía tiempo sin ir a uno. Me gusta mucho la mezcla de texturas de la falda bordada, el chaleco militar, y la camisa de gasa.
