Nemo, the blizzard, apparently decided to hit NYC at the same time I did. However, I'm so happy it changed Manhattan's scenery to WHITE! I've seen snow just a couple times in my life; if I'm not mistaken this was just the third one (so you can imagine how excited I was). So excited that we woke very early just to see the snow before it turned into a brown mess because of the cars. We first headed to Central Park- which was breathtakingly beautiful, like out of a Hollywood movie. Kids were sliding down the small hills, dogs running and playing..even some people were skiing. I really just got dressed to be able to be outdoor for a long time- so it was all about layers ( I had another jacket underneath, plus two sweaters- tights underneath the pants and knee socks). I really want to thank my friend Valentina from Vahife Boutique (with the cutest accessories) for letting me borrow this amazing black coat, I would have frozen otherwise. Nemo, la tormenta de nieve, llegó al mismo tiempo que yo a Nueva York.  Así que después de que estuviese nevando toda la noche, nos levantamos tempranito a ver Central Park todo nevado. Son pocas las veces que he visto nieve en mi vida; creo que esta fue la tercera- se podrán imaginar, parecía una niña chiquita. Ese día lo agarré de descanso en cuanto a shows de moda, y nos fuimos a turistiar por la ciudad. Nueva York la conozco en verano, pero en invierno de verdad que es otra. Lo que más me gusto fue ver a la gente diviertiendose hasta más no poder en el parque; los niños deslizándose, otros esquiando, los perritos corriendo... y aparte todo blanquito, parecía de película. Sobre el outfit: este fue más por comodidad que por "moda"- sabía que iba a estar muchísimo tiempo al aire libre y tenía todas las capas posibles para aguantar el frío. Mil gracias a mi amiga Valentina de Vahife Boutique, que me prestó este abrigo negro (el cual me salvó del frío en todo el viaje). Espero que disfruten las fotos de NYC! Un abrazo inmensisísimo!

Se supone que los remixes sean los miércoles, pero el pasado estaba loca por mostrarles el video de "10 vestidos para 10 ocasiones navideñas". Hablando de videos, el próximo que tenía en mente era 10 formas de utilizar estos pantalones, ya tengo todos los looks planeados....pero por ahora les muestro las 4 maneras como las he utilizado en el blog. Antes que se me olvide, son de H&M- siento que es un color tan versátil que esta ni me los quiero quitar... aunque ya encontré el remedio: ahora tengo una falda del mismo color jajaja- ya la verán.

I keep finding looks for a couple of weeks ago; I saved this one for two reasons. First, I wore right before doing the "monochromatic challenge"- this was going to be my outfit for the challenge but I really wanted to go all out with a head-to-toe look (check it out here). Second, people on instagram started saying that I needed to give these pants a rest....but I love them. And come on, it's not like I've worn them four times in a row- yes, I have worn them four times in four weeks (so I guess it is ready for a remix!!). I've been exploring the downtown area, where I live now... and I love that sometimes you just feel like you are in a different city (there's even a cool and old-looking theater). I'm in the middle of finals week- reason why I haven't taken any pics...so I'm digging "old" files. I hope you have an amazing weekend and that you don't mid I'm wearing these pants again lol. XOXO

Siguen apareciendo looks de hace semanas- este lo había guardado por dos razones. Primero fue justo del reto de usar un look monocromático, pero quise hacer uno que fuera totalmente de pies a cabeza (si no lo has visto, pasa por aquí). Segundo, empezaron a decirme por instagram (nanysklozet), que les diera un descanso a los pantalones- que por cierto, no lo usé tres días seguido....los he usado 4 veces desde que los compré hace cuatro (supongo que ya están listos para un remix!!). Y sinceramente no podía dejar de compartirlas, encontramos una esquinita en downtown que se siente como si estuvieras en otra ciudad...hay hasta un teatro antiguo. Como les dije, he estado explorando el area... y este look fue el adecuado para un día un poco frío. Como les dije, estoy publicando looks viejos porque ando en medio de semana final del semestre en la uni, y estoy a millón con exámenes y proyectos. Abrazos grandísimos y espero que no les moleste otro look con estos pantalones!
