Let me introduce you to my new favorite jeans!! <3
I'm obsessed with the color, the natural waist cut, and the fun zipper detail on the ankle. High waisted jeans are very flattering for all body shapes…who doesn't want to create the illusion of long supermodel legs? My jeans and top are from the new Joan Smalls x True Religion collection. I'm so proud to see another fellow Latina succeeding in the fashion industry. The 16-piece collection has active-wear inspired pieces that can be worn anywhere and everywhere…for a hike, for a casual date, or even a night out! I know I'm going to wear these jeans SO often. ¡Les presento a mis nuevos jeans favoritos! Me fascina el color vino y su corte a la cintura…aparte tiene un detalle en la parte de atrás del tobillo. Recuerden que este modelo nos ayuda a las petite a crear la ilusión de piernas más largas. Estos son de la nueva colección de la modelo boricua Joan Smalls para True Religion. Me encanta ver Latinas exitosas en la industria de la moda, y esta hermosa modelo es la prueba de esto. La colección tiene piezas muy casuales que puedes llevar del dÃa a la noche fácilmente…hay crop-tops, suéteres, y jeans. Se que estos jeans me los voy a poner hasta más no poder pero esta vez solo los combiné con un suéter cortito y accesorios negros/plateados. ¡Les mando un abrazo grandÃsimo!! Hoy es el cumple de Gabo…¡¡¡mándenle feliz cumple!!!

So let me tell you about what I’m wearing. I love skorts, it’s
the best of both worlds. The print of this piece is great because you can dress
it up or down very easily. Today I went for a casually chic look by pairing it
with a white Design Lab crop top that has a little bit of quilted texture but
still softly feminine. Finally…yes, I
know! I succumbed to the “ugly sandal” trend…but HELLO these are not ugly AT
ALL! The crystal-embellished straps take this trend to another level…a super
cute kind of level!

Yo soy de las que se la pasa buscando piezas a la moda pero a buen precio…y que sean de buena calidad- creo que es algo que nuestra generación no solo busca, sino espera de las marcas. Por eso les querÃa contar de una nueva marca en Lord & Taylor llamada Design Lab con la que voy a estar trabajando estos meses de primavera. Y les tengo que confesar…me encantó la colección! Hay tantas piezas que me encantaron…¡y el precio promedio es $64!
Les cuento de mi outfit. A mi me encantan las falda-short…¡son tan cómodas! El es estampado de esta falda-short es lindÃsimo; es perfecto para ir a la playa o para salir con tus amigas (todo depende de como lo combines). En esta ocasión opté por un look cómodo y lo combiné con una camisa blanca que tiene una textura acolchada. Y finalmente…si, estoy usando unas sandalias que critiqué mucho. Pero nunca digas nunca. Yo cuando era chiquita decÃa que nunca me iba a poner cosas a la cintura o accesorios dorados…y esas son de mis tendencias favoritas hoy en dÃa! El detalle de cristalitos le da un toque más femenino a estas sandalias toscas.
Hey girls! I need to stop with the excuses but I went to New York this weekend to do a fun video with GUESS! (if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my awesome co-stars: Luanna from le Happy, Lo Bosworth, and Marianna Hewitt!). I arrived so tired in Miami and I don't officially finish class until next Sunday..so almost there! Many of you don't know but Gabe takes all my pictures and he is working until 9pm most of the days. We used to have every day every week…but now we have been struggling a little to create all the content we want to!
Let's see…about this looks! First, get ready because you can win the bag I'm wearing in this post! I'll have a giveaway on my Instagram (@nanysklozet)- if I'm not mistaken, we are giving away 5 bags!. Also I want to tell you about my big purchase: these Manolos <3 <3 Last year I decided I was going to save up to gift myself a nice bag on my birthdays and a nice pair of shoes for Christmas. So the condition is to sell on Poshmark..and the more I get "rid" of things, the more space there is for a nice something-something! I couldn't decide what shoes to get this Xmas and I finally chose them (well, after some serious talks with Adriana Castro and Flor de Maria Fashion..who both have tons of designer shoes and they were giving me advice on what to invest in). I went for a classic classic pair of black pumps! I have to admit I was tempted by the Valentino Rockstuds but I'm scared to spend that amount of money on something that will be out of fashion very soon. What do you think? did I make the right choice?

¡HOLA!! No me he olvidado de ustedes…este fin estuve en Nueva York grabando un video con Guess (y Luanna Perez, Lo Bosworth y Marianna Hewitt…pasen por mi Instagram que hay fotitos con ellas!). Llegué a Miami un poco cansada y por eso no he actualizado el blog; pero ya que termine oficialmente las clases la semana que viene, todo va a regresar relativamente a la normalidad. No se si les llegué a contar, pero Gabo esta trabajando casi todos los dÃas hasta las 9pm asà que tenemos menos tiempo de lo que tenÃamos antes para los looks.
A ver que les puedo contar de este look. Estén pendientes en mi IG mañana Lunes (@Nanysklozet) porque voy a estar rifando varias carteras como la que llevo en este look. También les querÃa contar de esta gran adquisición: mis Manolos! En mi cumpleaños pasado decidà que cada cumpleaños iba a ahorrar todo el año para regalarme una cartera buena, y cada Navidad unos zapatos buenos. Hice lo mismo, vendà muchas cositas en Poshmark y ahorré para comprarme estos zapatos (que en teorÃa me los debà haber comprado en Navidad…pero no lograba decidirme que zapatos comprar). Después de hablar con varias amigas..entre ellas Flor de MarÃa Fashion y Adriana Castro; me fui por un par clásico que puedo utilizar con todo y para todo… ¿qué les parecen?! En un momento quise comprarme los Valentino Rockstud pero eran el doble de caros y me da miedito que las tachuelas pasen de moda pronto.
