Every year, we host an Ugly Sweater Party- it ha become a tradition within our friends and I love seeing everyone in fun Holiday sweaters.
This year it had a Venezuelan twist, there were more tequeños and hallacas than anything else- let's say Ugly Sweater is an American tradition but in Miami we make everything our own.
If you look closely, my sweater has a gift on my belly and it says "Best Gift Ever". I got it at Target hoping I would be showing at list a little- but all I look is bloated! haha that's okay there still is the best gift ever in there.
Some of our friends have puppies and I told them to bring them so it ended up being a puppy party too! So let's call this a "Venezuelan Ugly Sweater Puppy Party"!

This has been one of my favorite Summers ever, I've spent more time by the pool and beach than ever. Reason why I was so excited to partner with Stella Artois to host a BBQ to remember. So today I'm sharing some ways you can make sure your simple-yet-fun-BBQ is unforgettable!
When you live away from home, your friends become your family. Reason why, even though everyone is spending the actual Thanksgiving with family, we wanted to do a dinner together, celebrate, and feel thankful. I love hosting parties and having people over at our place...reason why I was excited to partner with Stella Artois again this Holiday season and treat my friends to dinner and drinks.
The party planning process started with the decorations. To get in the Holiday mood; my husband, my cousin (who is living with us at the moment) and I took out the Christmas decoration and spent the day putting garlands everywhere around the house. We also took out our small Christmas tree (hey, I wish I had the space for an actual, and huge, tree). After that, I was so inspired I got little wreath pieces for the plates, gold silverware, and paper Christmas trees as name tags for the dinner table. Then it was time to cook, I'm not the best cook or baker- but my cousin and I baked the most delicious gingerbread cookies and decorated them too.
The drink star of the night: Stella Artois. I always have Stella Artois beer at home and it's always a hit, especially with the guys. But to take this dinner/party to the next level, I was excited to try their new Cidre- it's sophisticated, dry, not to sweet, delicious, perfect for the gals... someone has a new favorite (hint: me!).
Are you hosting a party this Holiday season? I hope this inspires you treat your friends and have them over...because life is too short to not celebrate every second of it! Cheers!
Summer is almost gone…which means we should be enjoying
every single ray of sunshine. Reason why I was so excited to partner with
Stella Artois to throw a fun Pool Party with some of my closest girlfriends
(and guy friends who are always too shy to appear in the pictures).
To prepare, I had a blast getting some fun floaties (the
swan was basically most photographed floatie the whole day- but I’m also loving
the flamingo and the cool chill pill!). I wanted
the party to have a fun and colorful vibe, so I added vibrant towels and beach
throws + pillows (Thanks Pinterest for the inspiration!). I also got some
fruits, veggies, and snacks….but what’s a
pool party without some refreshing drinks?
The drink star of the day was, of course, Stella Artois.
Stella Artois is delicious to drink
out of the bottle, in a chalice, or can be enjoyed other
ways! One of my friend’s husbands is a cocktail specialist… I asked him for some fun ideas to play with the beer. He recommended
an easy summer drink: half Stella Artois beer + half Lemonade Soda + Sliced
Lemons ….so easy and so perfect for a hot summer day. I served it on a mason
tap full of ice and it was perfect and easy for the guests!
What are your plans for Labor Day? I think a pool party is
always a great idea! Cheers!
