In Miami, we wish for Fall temperatures basically all year. We aren't so lucky though, so we have to fake it a little bit (and fortunately, everyone fakes it at home too with a 60 degree A/C!).
So here are two looks with these amazing Steve Madden boots I got at Zappos. The one with the black dress and the denim jacket is more of a transitional look, perfect for Miami. But I know I also have readers that are experiencing temperatures drop right now.
Snake print makes big statement but it is also super versatile. I love how it looks with denim and leather. You can dress them up or down. Every time I wear these boots I get tons of compliments- I mean they are gorgeous!

En Miami, soñamos que lleguen las temperaturas otoñales todo el año. No tenemos mucha suerte en ese departamento, así que nos toca conformarnos con bajar el aire condicionado!!
Hoy les dejo dos looks con estas botazas espectaculares de Steve Madden que conseguí en Zappos. El look del vestido negro con la chaqueta de jean es más para Miami pero también quería darle una idea a las que me siguen en ciudades donde ya está empezando el frío.
El estampado de culebra es un clásico junto al estampado de leopardo- tanto así que pueden considerarse neutrales y van con todo. Me gusta mucho como se ve con texturas como la mezclilla y el cuero. También es impresionante como me hacen cumplidos en la calle cuando las uso.
Steve Madden ha sido de mis tiendas favoritas de zapatos desde que me mudé a Estados Unidos- y ahora me encanta que puedo conseguir los últimos modelos en Zappos- que se ha convertido en mi página favorita especialmente para los zapatos porque el envío en gratis, rápido, y se pueden devolver sin ningún problema.

Miami's weather has been on the verge of bipolarity. This look is actually from two weeks ago, when it was cold...then it got hot...and now it's kind of cold again. So sorry it's from two weeks ago, I guess I gave priority to cooler looks- this one is just very comfy but fun touches (like the two-tone jacket and the snake printed bottoms). I wore this to go to school and then later to go bike around town with a couple of friends. It was colder at night and I had to add a black cozy scarf. Did you see the video I posted yesterday? El clima en Miami ha estado extremadamente bipolar- un fin de semana con calor y luego el siguiente con un frío loquísimo. Este look es de hace dos semanas- otro de esos que se pierde entre las carpetas de looks- y esa semana sentí que me congelaba. Esto lo utilicé para ir a la universidad, y luego para pasear en bici con un grupo de amigos (les admito que hacía tanto frío que tuve que agregar una bufanda negra... si bufandas en Miami, ¿cómo es posible!?). De verdad es un look súper cómodo y sencillo, pero con toques divertido- como la chaqueta de dos tonos y el estampado de culebra de los pantalones. ¿Vieron el video de ayer? ¿Qué les pareció? FELIZ SEMANA!! Son LO MAXIMO!

We might not experience seasons in Miami, but our wardrobe definitely changes a little bit as we approach fall...even if it's just in colors and prints- I absolutely love these jeans; they look dark purple but if you look closely, they are actually snakeskin print!! This time I decided to pair them with simple and neutral pieces- I went for all cream: heels, blouse, accessories and bag. Finally, I added my new round sunglasses- you saw them on my wishlist for September! I wore this to eat ceviche with Gabo at our new favorite restaurant Ceviche105. We were supposed to go to a trapeze class afterwards but the place was close- bummer. So we stayed in the area at a nearby park. Puede que en Miami no tengamos estaciones, pero nuestros guardarropas definitivamente sufren unos cambios así sea en color y estampados- estos jeans me encantaron, parecen ser morados oscuros pero cuando se acercas y te fijas bien...son de estampado de culebra!! En este caso quise combinarlo totalmente con colores cremas; en las sandalias, camisa y cartera... y dejar que nada sobresaltara más que el estampado (aunque como casi no se nota puedo arriesgarme mucho más). También quise usar mis nuevos lentes redondos- vistos en mis listita de compras para septiembre. Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a comer ceviche con Gabo en Ceviche105, estamos obsesionados con ese restaurante. Aprovechamos ya que estabamos en el area, supuestamente después ibamos a una clase de trapecio pero estaba cerrado el sitio. Así que terminamos paseando en el parque de Bayside. ¡Espero que les haya gustado este look! Gracias, gracias, gracias por todo el apoyo con el blog!

I feel like I have so many asymmetrical dresss- like this, this and this one- but I actually don't own any skirt and I know I'm going to wear it a lot (specially because this oxblood color is the perfect transition for fall too). I paired it with a cream sleveless blouse, a geometric necklace, a classic bag, and some fun snake-printed heels. I also matched my lipcolor to the skirt- which is a little darker in person! As some of you might know, a hurricane might be approaching Miami soon- so the weather has not being helpful to take pictures (and you can see a little afro starting to grow lol). I wore this on Friday to go to a farewell party- one my closest friends is moving to Boston to finish her bachelor! I hope you liked the look and thanks for stopping by! XOXO

Siento que tengo muchísimo vestidos asimétricos- como este, este o este- pero no tenía ninguna falda y siento que le voy a sacar mucho provecho a esta especialmente porque el color vino es de transición para otoño/invierno. Lo combiné con una camisa color crema, un collar geométrico, una cartera clásica y un poco de estampado de culebra en los zapatos. Quise combinar mi falda con una pintura de labios roja oscura- la falda es un poquitito más oscura de lo que se ve en las fotos. Como algunas deben saber, mañana se acerca un posible huracán a Miami... lo que ha hecho casi imposible tomar fotos (aquí se me acababa de mojar el cabello y pueden ver partes en la cual el afrito natural empieza a salir jaja). Esto fue lo que utilicé el viernes para ir a la despedida de una amiga que se va a vivir para Boston- Andre por si estás leyendo esto, te deseo lo mejor del mundo allá!! When we were planning the previous "celebrity inspired", we saw these other looks from Nina&Ian and we saved them because we weren't sure which one we wanted to do first. We were supposed to wait more time to post them so we wouldn't be so monotonous... but.. whatever! As you can see, we made a couple of changes to the look (like her shoes are snakeskin and her bag is brown and mine are the other way around)... but the inspiration is pretty obvious! My whole look costs less than her Mulberry bag (and that's even counting my bag, which is a little less affordable than the rest of my purses). Once again, I thank Gabo for joining me in this fun post... even though, he is definitely starting to like it- it was his idea today! It was a very casual day, we had lunch and head to exchange something for my styling photoshoot (which is finally this Saturday)- can't wait to take the pics and show them to you. I hope you like these looks for less! Happy FRIDAY!

Planeando el "Look por menos" de Nina e Ian la semana pasada, también guardamos este look que usaron en Coachella y estábamos indecisos de cual hacer- se supone que íbamos a esperar más entre uno y otro para no ser tan monótonos por aquí... pero que importa! Como pueden ver, el look no es totalmente idéntico pero las piezas son extremadamente similares y cuestan mucho menos. Mientras que Nina utilizó unas sandalias de estampado de culebra y una carterita pequeña marrón, yo invertí la combinación. También considero que el largo de mi vestido favorece más a las figuras petite. Una vez más... gracias a Gabo por acompañarme (aunque le está agarrando el gustito por hoy fue él el que quiso hacer el look). Hoy fuimos a comer y después rápido a cambiar unos zapatos para la sesión de fotos, que finalmente es el sábado. Espero que les gusten los looks por menos y que les haya gustado este! FELIZ DIA!

After days and days of unstoppable rain (it got so crazy that you couldn't even drive where I live because of the water on the streets)... the sun was finally out, which means crazy heat and humidity. Reason why I wanted to wear my favorite skirt: it's not only gorgeous with the prettiest coral color, it's also very flawy and light (perfect for this weather). Even though it's already sold out at 2020ave, I left a link below with different stores that have similar styles. I wore this yesterday to visit my friend and owner of Furor Moda, Tatiana- we spent hours and hours talking and playing with clothes, as usual. Oh by the way, the star you see in the pic is not a real tattoo, it's a temporary one from Inkwear. Years ago I wanted a star there, but A LOT smaller- but I never got it because I always change my mind... reason why it's better to play with this temporal tattoos. Do you have any tattoos? Después de días y días de lluvia (tanto así que por donde vivo, las calles se inundaron tanto que no se podía manejar)... salió el sol, y con él vino una humedad y calor increíble. Razón por la cual decidí usar mi falda favorita- que aparte de tener un color espectacular, es vaporosa para este calorón (aunque esta agotada en 2020ave, les deje una página con muchas faldas similares abajo). Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a visitar a Tati de Furor Moda ayer- estuvimos hablando por horas y horas, sobre todo planeando algunas cositas y más. Por cierto, el "tatuaje" de estrellita que tengo en la mano no es de verdad- es de una página llamada Inkwearque tienen muchísimos tatuajes temporales (duran entre 3 y 5 días). Hace años quería una estrella en la muñeca, pero MUCHO más chiquita- nunca me hice ningún tatuaje porque soy muy indecisa, por eso me gusto la idea de jugar con estos temporales. ¿Tienen algún tatuaje? ¿O te harías uno?
