During New York Fashion Week, I had the opportunity to shop some of the things from the Peter Pilotto for Target before they were available to the public. This shirt was one of my favorites; I actually got it a size bigger...I like blouses to be comfy and a little bit oversized. Since the pieces had lots of colors and prints, I wrote an article called "How to wear the Peter Pilotto for Target collection?"..and I actually wore it exactly how I said I would there!! I've worn this look a couple of times already... something always happens and we forget to take the pics. I wore it for a shooting with Gabo and then on the road for Steffy's wedding. Durante la semana de la moda, tuve la oportunidad de comprar algunas cositas de Peter Pilotto antes de que salieran a la venta oficialmente. Esta camisa fue de mis piezas favoritas y la agarré en una talla más grande...pero me gusta asà no me queda tan apretadita.. Justamente la usé como les conté que la iba a usar en el artÃculo de "¿Cómo usar la colección de Peter Pilotto para Target"?; también me la imagino con unos pantalones de vestir para usar en el trabajo. Este look lo he utilizado varias veces; la primera vez para acompañar a Gabo durante una grabación... y después para viajar a la boda de Steffy- peor siempre pasaba algo y no podÃamos tomar las fotos. ¡FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!!

I know you have probably seen the Peter Pilotto for Target collection EVERYWHERE- I absolutely love most of the pieces. I was in NYC a couple of days ago for the private shopping event; so I was lucky enough to get a couple of pieces before they sold out the first day.
Even though I think the lookbook is gorgeous...it still is very editorial. Not all women can wear head-to-toe prints pieces. Reason why I wanted to do an easy guide showing you how you can rewear these pieces with items you already have in your closet. I got the 3 pieces above, so this is like a sneak peek of how you will see me wearing it. I also got to interview the designers, check out the answers below.
The collection hit stores tomorrow February 9th (or at Target.com). Let me know what you thought of the collection and how would you wear it.
INTERVIEW WITH THE PETER PILOTTO DESIGNERS:
1. As soon as I saw the collection, I felt it was designed Miami/Caribbean girls. Who was "the girl" that inspired this collection?
Peter Pilotto: When designing, we always keep our customers in mind and while this collaboration is different from our mainline collection, the PETER PILOTTO woman is the same. She is always playful with her style and tends to dress in a modern way – mixing high-end with high-street.
2. I feel like the collection can be described as "print perfection." What tips would you give my readers on how to mix prints correctly?
Christopher De Vos: Be playful with how you style them; you can either wear a full look or break them up. Ultimately, it’s all about what makes you feel the most confident.
PP: Everyone should try wearing prints, even people who don’t like them – it’s refreshing to explore.
3. What is your favorite piece of the collection?
PP: We both really love all of the swim pieces. The cropped swim top is so chic and versatile – it can be worn with our pencil skirt and canvas slip-ons and look just as good in the city or at the beach.
CDV: It’s so fun that women can own swimwear with a matching skirt and top – you can arrive on the beach and take off a layer, and underneath it’s still the same fun print.

Me imagino que ya habrán visto en todos lados la colección de Peter Pilotto para Target...a mi me fascinaron casi todas las piezas. Hace dos dÃas estuve en Nueva York para un evento privado donde pude comprar piezas antes que salieran a la venta en todas las tiendas.
Siento que el lookbook está muy bien hecho pero es muy editorial, no es tan fácil utilizar muchos estampados a la vez. Razón por la cual quise hacer este artÃculo mostrando como utilizar de una manera real las tres prendas que compré. Ya me verán utilizando las piezas pero este es como un adelanto de como tengo pensado utilizarlas.
¡¡La colección va a estar a la venta MANANA 9 de febrero en Target.com!! ¡¡Cuéntenme que les pareció esta colección y como la usarÃan!!
ENTREVISTA A LOS DISENADORES DE PETER PILOTTO PARA TARGET:
1. Apenas vi la colección me encantó lo alegre de los estampados y los colores que utilizaron para la colección...muy Miami. ¿En qué se inspiraron al momento de diseñar?
Peter Pilotto: Cuando diseñamos, siempre intentamos tener a nuestras clientes en mente; y aunque esta colaboración con Target es diferente a nuestra colección principal, la muter que usa PETER PILOTTO es la misma. "Ella" es divertida, le gusta experimentar con su estilo y tiende a vestirse muy moderna.
2. Para mi esta colección puede describirse como "perfección de estampados". ¿Qué consejos les darÃan a mis lectores sobre como mezclar estampados correctamente?
Christopher De Vos: Se atrevida al usarlos; puedes usar un look completo mezclando estampados o por separado. Lo más importante es que te sientas cómoda y segura de ti misma.
PP: Todas las mujeres deben intentar usar estampados; asà no te gusten. Es divertido explorar y jugar con diferentes estilos.
3. ¿Qué pieza es tu favorita de la colección?
PP: A ambos nos encantan los trajes de baño. Hay un top cortito con tela de traje de baño que es muy chic y versátil- puedes usarlo con nuestra falda y verte espectacular tanto en la ciudad como en la playa.
CDV: Es muy divertido que las mujeres pueden tener un traje de baño con el mismo estampado que la camisa y falda que llevan a la playa- facilmente pueden quitarse esas piezas al llegar a la playa, pero todavÃa están usando el mismo estampado.
