Hey everyone!! I'm so happy to say that I'm posting this from my home in Miami; I came to spend the weekend because of a blogging event I'll share next week. I wore this on Monday to go to my internship. I ended up swapping the shoes for flats because I was doing pick-ups all around Manhattan (I even went to Chanel to pick up things for a photoshoot...so exciting. I really like how the blazer dresses up the boyfriend jeans, so they look appropriate for a casual working environment. I'm also obsessed with how the polka dots look with the vibrant pink. ¡Hola a tod@s! Hoy les escribo muy feliz desde mi casa en Miami; vine a pasar unos días por un par de compromisos que tenía..ya les contaré de que se trata. Este outfit lo utilicé el lunes para ir al trabajo (aunque como les he contado, es mucho corre-corre- así que al ratito ando en zapatos bajos). De este look me gusta mucho la mezcla de los pantalones rotos junto al blazer ya que los hace ver más arregladitos y apropiados si trabajas en un ambiente casual. También me encanta mucho la mezcla del estampado de lunares con el rosado vivo del blazer. Los zapatos los hice yo misma... ¿se acuerdan del DIY?. Un abrazo grandísimo!!! Son lo máximo!

I have no idea how the weather has been in Miami the past two weeks; but before coming to NYC it was one "cold" week, one warm week. So after being able to wear a light jackets for a while... it was so hot that I just wanted to be wearing a swimsuit the whole day. I guess this is the typical summer outfit: cut off shorts, a light tank (this one lets you breath...pun intended lol), a hat/fedora, and comfy shoes. Talking about comfortable shoes, these are from the Keds...and I swear, they are the comfiest pair of shows I own (plus the polka dot is very cute. I want to get a neutral color pair for all the walking I'm doing in NYC). Since I moved Downtown Miami, I've been looking for the perfect sushi place...and I think we finally did this day. We went to a nice sushi place in Midtown Shops...but if you know any other in the Downtown/Midtown area, let me know! Have an amazing Friday and weekend! XOXO

No se como ha estado el clima las últimas semanas en Miami; pero antes de venir a NYC, era una semana "frío" y la siguiente calor!! Después de varios días donde pude sacar una que otra chaquetica, llegó un calor que ...entre menos ropa mejor! Creo que este es el típico uniforme del verano: unos shorts de jean, una camiseta que respire (esta tiene pulmones, así que es literal jajaj), un sombrero para el sol, y unos zapatos cómodos. Hablando de zapatos cómodos, estos son de la marca Keds... y les juro que son los más zapatos más cómodos que tengo (son extra acolchaditos- los quiero en un color neutral también, especialmente ahora que estoy caminando tanto en NYC). Desde que me mude a Downtown Miami, he estado buscando un lugar de sushi que de verdad me fascine...he ido a uno que otro, pero nada como los que tenía cerca en Doral. Pero creo que este día conseguimos uno en Midtown Shops...si saben de otro en el area de Downtown/Midtown, díganme!! FELIZ VIERNES!!!
