Indian Canyon Hike...in Palm Springs

Saturday, March 19, 2016

I know  I have been a little vague on what I've been doing on all my traveling. Some projects I cannot say much, and some I have been sharing a lot on snapchat (danidaniramirez). Well...in the meantime, let me tell you about an amazing experience on Palm Springs...we went on a freaking hike on the Indian Canyon!

Target invited a small group of editors and influencers to Palm Springs to preview the newest swimwear collection for Summer 2016.  When we got to the hotel, there was an itinerary and it included a surprise: workout clothes from target and we had to be ready by 8 am (which is so early for me as I'm not a morning person). But I couldn't be more excited to go on a hike in California.

We were in Palm Springs last year and it was so hot and dry...the landscape was completely different. The tour guide was telling me that there was some torrential rain that made all those pretty yellow flowers bloom.

We went up, down, and around the mountain...the pictures speak for themselves but I loved learning about the history of this place. I was annoying the poor tour guide with questions and questions. He explained to me that this is the biggest Oasis of the area and that the palm trees are unique to this Canyon (they also grew there because of an underground river and shadows from the mountains). Because of the Oasis, many tribes established there...you can read more on this Wiki link

Hope you like the pictures!! XOXO

¡BESOS!

SAVOUS resort palm trees
2020AVE beige sweater
SHOEDAZZLE flats
TED BAKER black bag
LIVE VIVACIOUS sunglasses
KAREN LONDON ring
TOPSHOP necklace

I wore this last Friday to meet with Valerie Lollet, venezuelan  blogger at  Madame Fedora. We have so many projects for 2014, I'm dying to tell you all about it but I don't want to spoil it.  I wore this to get together, brainstorm and plan. These palm trees are extremely comfy but they still look put together- I paired them with a beige sweater and simple gold accessories.

I don't know if I officially mentioned this before on the blog ( I think I did on twiter)...but I started a masters degree in Design and Media Management. I'm learning all the business and logistics part to be the manager of a creative team. So yes, I recently graduated but I'm back in school- that's why I might say some things like going to school and doing grad-school projects.

XOXO!
