Hoy les dejo un post rapidito porque el internet en el barco es muy limitado. Esto lo utilicé en otro intercambio de regalos o "secret santa" Esta vez escogí un vestido super femenino; lo combiné con unos tacones cerrados color vino, unos zarcillos/aretes bastante llamativos, y una carterita de fiesta. Me encantaría que compartieran conmigo lo que han utilizando estas navidades...recuerda que solo tienes que utilizar el hashtag #myklozet y ahí los podré ver. Today I wanted to do a quick Christmas post to express how thankful I am for all your support, sweet words, and love...I think I say it frequently, but frequently isn't enough! I feel like today shouldn't be about gifts, it should be about giving and expressing our loves to family and friends. Let's be thankful for all the amazing things this year brought, and let's forget about the little things.

Today I'm very happy because I'm spending my Christmas with Gabo for the first time...and more than 40 family members! I'm also extremely happy because this is my first Christmas as an aunt...I just met my little niece and she is just adorable. I guess it's true, a nice/nephew is the best present a sibling can give you.

I wore this yesterday, the 23rd, to spend the night with my family...we ate typical Venezuelan Christmas food and we exchanged gifts.

Hoy quería hacer un post de Navidad especialmente para expresarles lo agradecida que me siento por todo su apoyo... se que se los digo regularmente pero ¡se merecen que se los diga siempre! También siento que hoy no es un día de pensar en regalos...es un día de decirle a nuestros familiares y amigos cuanto los queremos, un día para dar gracias por todas las cosas lindas que nos han pasado en este año, y para olvidar todo lo malo.

Hoy me siento super contenta porque es la primera Navidad que voy a pasar con Gabo y junto a mi familia...todos nos vamos de crucero, somos más de 40. También es mi primera Navidad siento tía...tal vez vieron a mi sobrinita Amalia por ahí, es una belleza.

Esto lo utilicé ayer, 23, para comer en familia antes de irnos de viaje. Comimos unas hallacas riquísimas que hizo mi familia e intercambios regalos como todos los años.

Espero que disfruten muchísimo con su familia...les deseo una FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!

I was in Aruba from the December 28th to January 4th- and I can't believe I'm still posting looks from it. I think this is going to be the last one- even though I have a simple one from the first day... we'll see! To end up the amazing trip, we decided to go on a catamaran around the island. It started very early in the mornig, we had breakfast and lunch there, and it even stopped in three places to do some scuba diving/snorkeling.  I feel like the best way to tan is to start with the "biggest" swimsuit and they end with the smallest. I got this bikini at H&M just before traveling and there were just 4 models in the store. I guess I wasn't the only one doing some last minute-bikini-shopping since there was one girl in the catamaran with the exact same swimsuit! Estuve en Aruba desde el 28 de diciembre hasta el 4 de enero y no se como es posible que se me acumularon tantos posts! Creo que termino con este- aunque tengo uno normalito del primero de Aruba que tal vez comparta más adelante. Este es un pequeño resúmen de mi último día en Aruba- quisimos cerrar con un broche de oro y agarrar un catamarán por la isla. Salimos en la mañanita, desayunamos, almorzamos, e hizo 3 paradas para bucear. Siento que la mejor forma de tomar sol es empezar con el traje de baño más grande (en mi caso comencé con uno entero) y luego ir disminuyendo el tamaño. Este es de H&M, y como les conté: fue parte de una compra a última hora antes del viaje y solo habían 4 modelos en esa tienda. Creo que no fui la única que pensó así porque en el catamarán ese día había una muchacha con el MISMO traje de baño. Espero que disfruten las fotos de la isla! ¡Les deseo un fin de semana espectacular! ¡¡Abrazos!!

Every year we get together to spend Christmas with our family... and by family I mean everyone: cousins, cousins' children, aunts/uncles and more. And this year was no exception...even though I missed my brothers; one of them is taking care of his pregnant wife in Chile and the other had to work. After so many Holiday ideas and recommendations about what to wear...here's what I actually wore. I knew I wanted to wear a red dress and I got this as a Chictopia Reward (with the points you get from likes/comments). I added a statement necklace and simple black pumps. Finally I ended up wearing my hair up since it wouldn't stop raining... and my hair + humidity= big no no! So here are a couple of pics that summed my Christmas eve: a lot of traditional Venezuelan Christmas food, Secret Santa... and fireworks! Hope you had an amazing Christmas with your loved ones! Todos los años nos reunimos en familia a celebrar la Navidad... y cuando me refiero en familia es FAMILIA. Y aunque este año eramos menos, eso no fue ningún impedimento- especialmente me hicieron falta mis hermanos; uno esta en Chile pendiente del embarazo de su esposa y el otro tuvo que trabajar. Pero bueno, después de tantas ideas y de vestirme tantas veces para darles algunas recomendaciones de que usar en estas fechas... esto fue lo que utilicé para Nochebuena. Sin lugar a duda quería utilizar un vestido rojo y este lo compré en Chictopia con los puntos que te dan al obtener "me gusta" y comentarios. Lo quise combinar con un collar llamativo y unos tacones negros...una combinación sencilla pero elegante. Finalmente terminé amarrandome el cabello en un moño porque no dejaba de llover, y ustedes saben que mi cabello y la humedad no se llevan muy bien.  Les dejo abajo unas fotitos que resumen un poco el día: mucha comida, intercambio de regalos y ... fuegos artificiales. As I've said multiple times, I don't really get dressed for pictures- it's the other way around, I sneak the pics into my everyday life. However, Gabo and I don't have class/work on Mondays...and instead of staying in my pjs all day, I came up with the idea to do a couple of looks, for different styles and different types of Holiday parties.  You have seen this sheer skirt a couple of times in the blog, I absolutely love it...you can dress it down or make it very glam like in these pics. Also, there's something I really like about mixing gold/black, it looks luxurious. I'm sure many of you saw the resemblance of the  "bonjour" belt to the classic "Moschino" one- but I think is more fun and it's not so "let me spell it to you...I'm wearing a designer belt". I love statement necklaces for night-outs and parties, but it was enough with the sequined crosses on the shirt- since I had my hair up, the perfect solution was a pair of statement earrings (these used to be my mom's, from the 80s... and yes, they are clip-ons. Gabo was making fun of me because they are "grandma" earrings- which it's funny because it's true, my mom will be a grandmother next year...and I'll be the coolest aunt ever!). To finish to "gold theme" I added these shiny leopard pumps. What do you think of this look? Would you wear anything like this during the Holiday season? XOXO

Como les he mencionado no soy de las que se visten solo para tomar fotos- al contrario, tomo fotos para documentar mi estilo día a día.  Pero ya que Navidad están tan cerca, quería hacer varios looks para darles ideas de que se pueden poner en estas fiestas decembrinas,  looks más arregladitos que lo que están acostumbradas a ver en el blog. Los lunes, ni Gabo ni yo tenemos clases, entonces quisimos aprovechar y desarollar esta idea de "¿Qué me pongo en Navidad?. Esta falda me la han visto usar en el día a día muchísimo, y me encanta como se puede transformar en una falda de fiesta con las piezas adecuadas- aparte que hay algo tan elegante en la mezcla de negro/dorado. El cinturón de "Bonjour" es muy similar al Moschino- excepto que es más divertido, y por supuesto económico- y sin deletrearle a todo el mundo que estás usando un cinturón de marca. Como la camisa tenía las crucesitas de lentejuelas, no quise agregarle ningún collar- pero me pareció genial agregarle estos zarcillos/aretes vintage, erán de mi mamá (Si si, son de clip  y Gabo se estaba burlando de mi porque son de abuelita. Lo que aparentemente es totalmente cierto- mi mamá va a ser abuela el próximo año... y yo tía!). Finalmente, para ser en el look dorado, agregué los zapatos de leopardo. ¿Qué les parece esta opción para alguna de las fiestas decembrinas?. Espero que les haya gustado! Abrazos grandísimos!
