Sporty Plaid in CENTRAL PARK

Sunday, December 18, 2016

Mad for plaid ♥️♥️ When I got this statement plaid coat a few years ago, I never thought I would wear it as much as I have...I have to update the remix for it but if you search on the blog plaid coat, you can see the other 4 ways I've worn it.

This time I went for a sporty vibe with a funky hat and my new favorite sneakers.

This day was super fun, we met with some Dominican friends and he headed to have some Dominican food in Queens and then we spent the whole day with them. You can check their blog @GlamDapper.

XOXO

BESOS!

Pray for KARL!

Before talking about anything, I want to explain the meaning behind the "Pray for Karl" tee- at first I was like "why is he crying?". But I started reading and I thought the meaning behind it was interesting. The fashion industry has been declining the past decade because of the spread of "Fast Fashion"- within weeks, you can find designer-inspired pieces at big retailers like Zara. This has affected designers in terms of sales/profit... so.."let's pray for Karl". Since the shirt was a little long on me, remember I'm very petite... I wanted to wear it with these faux leather leggings- and since it was a little chilly, I added the parka. I wore this the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my boyfriend's family was still in town so we spent time with them and had dinner at 100 Montaditos. Hope you had an amazing week! XOXO

Animal spikes!

Friday, November 16, 2012

I wasn't lying when I said I had a lot of looks to be published- this one is actually from the weekend Hurricane Sandy was leaving the Florida area. Even though it was sunny and gorgeous outside...it was extremely windy- reason why I had to hide behind this wall in order to keep the hat and hair in place. This was right after my birthday and my parents were still in town so we went out to eat. I originally saved this outfit for later because some of you were complaining that I was wearing this hat to often.... and it was absolutely true, I needed to give it a rest to make the blog less monotonous. But I saved it for too long since I wore the hat last week...oh well haha. I showed you this sweater with a tiger and spikes on my October/September wishlist... and I couldn't wait to wear it. This time I paired it with some faux leather leggings and a pop of color with a fun red bag. I hope you have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend! XOXO

ps: excuse the lighting, the gray wall made everything kind of gray-ish.. and it was impossible to fix it without ruining the quality of the pics! xoxo

________
