I have always been about purchasing pieces I can wear and re-wear 1000 times without anyone noticing. Today I'm joining Kohl's and People En Español to show you seven outfits for different everyday situations (because everyday should be a runway).

On the first "Beauty Sunday" I talked a little bit about my favorite beauty trends for this Spring- when it comes to hair, I really like the "ombré effect". Women tend to make their hair lighter during the Spring/Summer... and after thinking it for a while, I'm going to try this trend. A couple of you have already told me "not to do anything to my hair" but I really need a change. I've had the same hair color for almost 10 years- I did highlights just before turning 15. One of the things I like the most about this trend is that you can choose how dramatic you make it...and if I get tired of it, I just start cutting the ends little by little.
This week I'm going to try at home L'Oreal ParÃs's new product called "Feria Wild Ombré". This kit comes with a patented brush that makes it very easy to do in just 25-45 min (depending on your preferred intensity). I'm going to do a video with a step-by-step on how to do Ombré with this kit and I'll also give you a couple of tricks/recommendations. I'm very excited about it.. we'll see how it actually looks on me!!

En el primer artÃculo de "Domingo de Belleza" les mencioné que una de mis tendencias de belleza favorita para la primavera es el cabello "Ombré" (también conocido como mechas californianas). Generalmente las mujeres tienden a teñirse el cabello más claro durante la primavera/verano y esta es una opción que quiero intentar este año después de pensarlo por bastante tiempo. Ya muchas me han dicho que "ni me atreva a hacerle algo a mi cabello"- pero siento que necesito un cambio; llevo teniendo el cabello largo y de mi color natural por casi 10 años (me hice mechitas justo antes de mis quince años). El ombré es la opción que más me gusta: primero porque puedo decidir en la intensidad y segundo porque si me canso, solo tengo que ir cortando las puntas poco a poco.
Esta semana, voy a intentar el producto de L'Oreal ParÃs llamado "Feria Wild Ombré" en la comodidad de mi casa. Este tinte viene con un cepillito parentado que hace el proceso bastante sencillo en tan solo 25-45 min (todo depende de la intensidad que prefieras). Les prometo hacer un video con todos los pasos y algunas recomendaciones en cuanto al look general y como lograrlo.

As I've mentioned before... all Sundays are going to be about BEAUTY!! Some of you might know but I am a "certified makeup artist" and I'm a beauty junkie. I love trying out new beauty products and I want to share my opinion about them. So let's start with 4 beauty trends for this Spring/Summer 2012.
(1) At home ombré: ombré has been around a couple of seasons but I really want to try this trend, very subtle of course. It used to be considered very complicated but L'Oréal just came out with a home kit and a special hair brush that makes it very easy to do. I'm going to try it in two weeks ...but don't worry, I'll record the whole process so you can see how it works.
(2) Velvet skin and vibrant lips: people always say that if you are wearing a bright lip color, you should keep the rest simple. And this trend is the epiphany of the rule: it must look like you aren't wearing any makeup beside the lipstick. For this I really recommend L'Oreal Miracle Blur, I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I love it. It makes pores look smaller, it smoothes skin, and it has SPF30. After that, just add foundation and your favorite lip color.
(3) Nude nails: after so much nail art and vibrant colors, our nails deserve a little break with natural-looking nailpolishes. They are easy to maintain, these L'Oreal nailpolishes last 10 days, and the best part..they go with anything in your wardrobe.
(3) Cat eye eyeliner: more than a trend this has become a classic... and the best part is that you can personalize it and make it as dramatic or classic as you want. This is another of the L'Oreal products I completely love and recommend, "The Infallible Super Slim eyeliner". The tip is very precise (just 0.4mm), it lasts 12 hrs, and it's very easy to apply.

Como les mencioné... ¡¡ahora todos los domingos serán dedicados a la parte de belleza!! No se si algunas saben pero hace dos años hice un curso de maquillaje por 3 meses, y tengo un certificado de "maquilladora profesional. Siempre me ha gustado intentar nuevos productos y me gustarÃa compartir un poquito más mis experiencias. Empiezo esta sección con cuatro tendencias de maquillaje para esta Primavera/Verano 2013.
(1) Ombré en tu casa: desde hace varias temporadas hemos visto el cabello ombré o degradado en todos lados (también conocido como mechas californianas). Y aunque suele ser considera un proceso complicado, L'Oréal acaba de sacar un kit casera con un cepillo super fácil de usar. Yo finalmente me voy a animar a probar esta tendencia en unas semanas...no se preocupen, compartiré todo en video y paso a paso para mostrarles como lo pueden hacer ustedes también.
(2) Piel perfecta y labios llamativos: siempre dicen que si llevas los labios llamativos, el resto del maquillaje debe ser lo más sencillo posible. Y esta temporada, esta regla es mas fuerte todavÃa... es como si no tuvieras maquillaje en el resto de la cara. Para esto te recomiendo L'Oreal Miracle Blur: es un primer excelente (lo llevo usando varias semanas), hace que la piel te quede extremadamente sedosa- aparte de dejarte la piel sedora, reduce el tamaño de los poros y tiene protector solar. Luego puedes usar tu color favorito en los labios (algunas opciones acá).
(3) Uñas al desnudo: después de tanto "nail-art" y colores llamativos, esta temporada puedes darle un descanso a tus uñas y usar colores que parezca que no llevas nada puesto. Son fáciles de mantener, estas de L'Oreal duran 10 dÃas... y lo mejor de todo: ¡combinan con toda tu ropa!
(4) Ojos de gato: esto más que una tendencia se ha convertido en un clásico.. y tu decides que tan dramático quieres que sea el look. Otro de los productos de L'Oreal que probé fue el delineador "Infallible Super Slim"- y me fascina. La punta es extremadamente precisa (0,4mm), dura 12 horas, y es muy fácil de aplicar.
