On Thursday I had the opportunity not only to go to "Fashion Bloggers Do it Better- Summer Edition", but also I was one of the models for a small fashion show that happened during the event. My day started early by "getting runway-ready"- you know the drill...eye-brows, face-mask, long shower, half manicure, etc (I say half manicure because I don't like wearing a bright color when "modeling"- I'm no expert nor model but it's better to keep it simple when representing somebody else's brand). Before heading downtown super early to get my hair/makeup done at the event, I asked Gabo to take a couple of picture before I knew the sun would be down by the time he got there. Everything was AMAZING, I'll share pictures of the actual event later - I might steal them from other bloggers because all the running around and changing didn't let me take lots of picture. However, here's what I wore to the actual event: a cropped black top with a lace detail and open-back (oh btw, I get a lot of questions on what do I wear with open back tops/dress...here's a good bra for it), a peplum skirt, a simple envelope clutch and my fun dalmatian shoes. I hope you liked the look! XOXO ... more pics from the event coming soon, I promise!

Abrazos!

As you might know, this week's challenge was to wear studs or spikes- after publishing this look with spikes on the heel on Saturday, I realized I could've used that one... but I really wanted to go all out with a fully studded piece. Reason why I chose this coral jacket completely covered in studs (you may remember it from the Neon-ize photoshoot)- to keep the look wearable and simple, the rest of the outfit was plain black. Well, I also added a little bit of studs in the shoes (but since they are only in the heel, and both pieces are not close... I thought they didn't clash). I wore this on Sunday to go out with my mom and Gabo. As always; if you wore studs this week, leave your link at the end of this post! XOXO
ps: check out this fun interview I did with WhatIwear!!

Besos!

I wanted to try mint on mint for a while now- and after posting a preview on my Facebook page, I got a couple of comments of people saying it reminded them to "Tiffany&Co"... and now I see it too! I tried to mix two completely different tones of mint- to spice up the collar of the blouse, I added a "collar-type necklace" underneath so it actually looks like the collar of the blouse has a cool detail. Also, I love the litte details on the shorts; like the bow belt and the scalopped hem. Finally, all the accessories are black and simple. I wore this to a fitting for my second fashion show as a blogger- this time is for "Fashion Bloggers Do It Better Summer edition". I'm going to model two looks for two different stores (including from Furor Moda). I'll share more details about the event but I'm adding the invitation below, I would love to see you there next week. Hope you liked the look! XOXO

XOXO

When it comes to color-blocking, the best way to make colors pop is using complementary colors (red+green, yellow+purple... and one of my favorites: orange+blue). At first I wanted to add simple nude shoes and a nude clutch, but I decided to spice things up a little and add a faux-pantent leather clutch from Jill Milan, and some "dalmatian" shoes from "Pink&Pepper" (which are very affordable too!). I wore this to go out and have dinner with my boyfriend's family at this cute place- that I forgot the name- in Merrick Park and the food was delicious too. Btw, I'm so upset about the wrinkles in my clothing- I seriously ironed it TWICE...but car rides in Miami are not forgiving. I hope you are having a amazing Father's Day with your family (I'll be missing my dad and thinking of him the whole day). XOXO
