I know  I have been a little vague on what I've been doing on all my traveling. Some projects I cannot say much, and some I have been sharing a lot on snapchat (danidaniramirez). Well...in the meantime, let me tell you about an amazing experience on Palm Springs...we went on a freaking hike on the Indian Canyon!

Target invited a small group of editors and influencers to Palm Springs to preview the newest swimwear collection for Summer 2016.  When we got to the hotel, there was an itinerary and it included a surprise: workout clothes from target and we had to be ready by 8 am (which is so early for me as I'm not a morning person). But I couldn't be more excited to go on a hike in California.

We were in Palm Springs last year and it was so hot and dry...the landscape was completely different. The tour guide was telling me that there was some torrential rain that made all those pretty yellow flowers bloom.

We went up, down, and around the mountain...the pictures speak for themselves but I loved learning about the history of this place. I was annoying the poor tour guide with questions and questions. He explained to me that this is the biggest Oasis of the area and that the palm trees are unique to this Canyon (they also grew there because of an underground river and shadows from the mountains). ¡Se que he estado viajando mucho y muchas me preguntan que he estado haciendo! Varios de los proyectos les iré contando poco a poco mientras vayan saliendo. Pero me adelanté al post oficial de Palm Springs con esta experiencia tan increíble.

Target invitó a un grupo de editoras y blogueras a Palm Springs para mostrarnos la nueva colección de trajes de baño para este Verano 2016. Pero empezamos la actividad con una caminata por el "Indian Canyon" antes de empezar nuestro día.

Cuando llegamos a la habitación, nos tenían ropa de hacer ejercicio para que nos prepararamos para el largo día... y a las 8 am teníamos que estar en el lobby listas.

Nosotros estuvimos en Palm Springs en septiembre del 2015 y el paisaje fue totalmente distinto; aparentemente hubo una lluvia torrencial que hizo que las flores amarillas que ven en las fotos florecieran por toda la montaña.

La experiencia completa fue espectacular, creo que las fotos hablan por si sola. Pero también me encantó hablar mucho con el guía quien nos estuvo contando de la historia de este lugar, de su flora y de su fauna. Por ejemplo, las palmeras que ven es el oasis más grande de la zona (se dieron por un río debajo de la tierra en esa area y porque se esconden del sol entre las montañas). Por el oasis, tribus indígenas vivieron ahí muchos siglos. Pero si les interesa más leer sobre el tema, aquí les dejo el link a Wiki.

El mundo de la moda en estos momentos sigue muy inspirado por la década de los 70s...incluyendo la tela de gamuza. Este material se ve mucho en la época de otoño, pero como pueden ver también es perfecto durante la primavera. Esta temporada, muchos diseñadores mostraron piezas de gamuzas en las pasarelas- y en  Express encontré esta tendencia a buenos precios.

Hay muchas maneras de usar gamuza...en chaquetas faldas, vestidos...hasta en carteras y botas!! Especialmente me gusta combinar gamuza con piezas bohemias- como hice en este viaje a Palm Springs. El desierto siempre saca a relucir mi lado Boho- por eso agregué un sombrero, una carterita negra también de gamuza, y estos zapatos con trenzas.

Pero esta tendencia no tiene que ser 100% bohemia, puedes optar por un look más clásico. Por ejemplo, puedes combinar estos culottes de gamuza de Express con un top sencillo blanco y unas sandalias clásicas.

Hello Hello!! First of all, so sorry about the overwearing of the shirt…but can you blame me? It's so pretty! You previously saw it with white shorts in Tennessee, now with leather bottoms and you will see it soon with a suede camel skirt. We took this pictures in the middle of nowhere in the Arizona desert while heading to the Grand Canyon in our small road trip. Since it's a Sunday…here are the random 5 things I promised to write every week!

1. In case you have seen another puppy in my snap chat, her name is Mia and we are petsitting her. Her owner? Gaby's little sister!

2. This week I went straight from Las Vegas to New York…I can finally tell you a little bit about the project: it's with Rebecca Minkoff and Saks…and two amazing blogger I truly admire, Blair from Atlantic Pacific and Wendy's Lookbook.

3. I'm a little sick from all the traveling, but **positive mindset* I will be like a new person tomorrow.

4.  This weekend I was supposed to see "Inside out" with some friends…I think I'm going tomorrow. Have you girls watched it? I've heard it's amazing.

5. If you have been eyeing anything from my "klozet", I'm going to upload tons of items soon to my poshmark( just in case, my username is the same, @nanysklozet). Don't miss it!!

¡Hola Hola!! OK primero que nada me disculpo porque esta camisa va a estar hasta en la sopa últimamente. Me la he puesto 3 veces en un periodo de 10 días apróximadamente; me la puse en Tennessee con unos shorts blancos, con estos de cuero en el medio de Arizona, y pronto la verán con una falda de gamuza color camel. Estas fotos las tomamos en el medio del desierto de Arizona cuando estábamos de camino al Gran Cañon de Colorado.  El sol estaba tan fuerte que me van a ver usando bastante este sombrero y lentes…que fueron los que lleve a ese pequeño "roadtrip".  Como es domingo…les debo las 5 cosas random!!

1. Hemos estado de perri-niñeros con la perrita de la hermana de Gaby. En dado caso que la hayan visto en Snapchat, no es una nueva adquisición, es la "pirita de Chiki".

2. Esta semana me fui directo de Las Vegas a Nueva York- ya les puedo medio contar del proyecto, es con Rebecca Minkoff y Saks junto a dos bloggeras que admiro mucho Blair de Atlantic Pacific y Wendy's Lookbook.

3. De la viajadera ando un poquito enferma…ojalá se me pase pronto!

4. Ando con muchísimas ganas de ir a ver la peli "inside out". ¿La vieron? Me han dicho que está espectacular.

5.  Pronto voy a estar subiendo muchas cosas para vender en Poshmark…así que estén pendientes por allá. Mi usuario es @nanysklozet igual que por acá.
