I feel like during the past couple of weeks, overalls exploded all over the internet....and well, here I am... joining the trend with a faux-leather skirt overall ( I have to admit, I have a classic jean overall). Originally, I wanted to wear the overalls with a cropped sweater...but after hours looking, I couldn't find what I had in mind. In Miami, where's so hot already, I want to wear it with a crop top. This was my second choice; a classic button down with a fun twist (the print are actually little penguins). Can you believe I only brought three pairs of heels to NYC? These, the cap toe booties, and the blue pumps.... I wish I would have worn this look with an edgier pair. Have an amazing day!! Once again, thanks for you love and support! XOXO

Siento que en las últimas semanas ha habido una explosión de bragas en todos lados- y bueno...me uno a la tendencia con uno de cuero sintético y tipo faldita (aunque les admito que tengo ganas de uno clásico; de jean). Originalmente lo quería usar con un suéter cortito...pero no tuve suerte- voy a terminar comprando un suéter regular y cortarlo. Así que mi segunda opción era una blusa clásica- esta tiene un toque diferente, el estampado de pinguinitos. También lo quiero utilizar en Miami, que hace más calor, con un top cortito pero con mangas (o cuello tortuga). Como les dije, he estado usando demasiado blanco&negro- es algo de esta ciudad. ¿Pueden creer que solo traje dos pares de tacones? Estos y las botitas negras con la punta dorada...me hubiese encantado usar unos zapatos más roqueritos. Un abrazo inmenso a tod@s! Y no quería dejar de decirles lo agradecida que estoy por su apoyo!!

Living of a small suitcase is extremely hard, specially for a "fashion blogger"- since I was going to Venezuela just for 2 weeks, I only took the necessary. I wore this to my baby cousin's baptism- I was the godmother! Originally, I wanted to wear a peplum skirt and a dressy top but I felt like the skirt was to tight for the occasion and I ended up with this bright and happy combo. Btw I'm so sorry for the lack of posts, I feel like the last time I took pictures was ages ago- but I had limited internet access and we traveled for like 20 hrs (the city where my dad's side of the family lives is around a 10-hour-drive away from Caracas, the capital). Back to this day; after the baptism, we headed to an aunt's house to have brunch (Have I ever mentioned how big my family is? I have 16 aunts/uncles and around 100 cousins- counting my cousins and their children, and children of their chilren). I'm so excited to be a godmother, she's so precious. I asked my cousin Luja to take my pictures again, he made his debut a NK photographer last december! I hope you have an amazing week! XOXO

Vivir de una pequeña maleta es difícil, especialmente para una "bloguera de moda"- y ya que solo estuve en Venezuela unas semanitas, me llevé solo lo necesario. Esto fue lo que utilicé para el bautizo de mi primita, en donde yo era la madrina. Originalmente quería usar una falda peplum con una camisita sencilla pero me pareció que era como muy pegadita y sentía que no era apropiado para la iglesia. Así que escogí este conjuntito colorido y alegre para la ocasión. Disculpen la falta de artículos, siento que las tenía un poquito abandonada pero estaba sin internet y viajando por Venezuela en carro (el bautizo fue en Merida, una ciudad a 10 horas de Caracas- se pueden imaginar, estuve solo dos días en Merida y 20 horas de viaje). Volviendo a la ocasión, estoy muy feliz y me siento muy orgullosa de ser la madrina de una niña tan hermosa. Después del bautizo, que fue en la mañanita, fuimos a casa de una tía donde compartí con toda la familia (¿les he mencionado que mi familia es grandísima? El otro día saque la cuenta y tengo 100 primos en total- contando hijos de primos e hijos de hijos de primos). Le pedí rapidito a un primo que le encanta la fotografía, que me tomara las fotos- terminó robándose mi cámara y terminó tomando fotos lindísimas! FELIZ SEMANA!!
This week's challenge was to wear crochet or lace ( check out this REMIX with my favorite lace tee, this cream lace dress and this black one ); however, I really have to stop doing the challenges on Sundays... I never have something special to do and they end up looking boring and so casual. I promise that next time I'll plan ahead! I actually wanted to wear this amazing neon crochet shorts from 2020Ave - I have them for the professional photoshoot I'm doing this week (so you'll have to wait to see how I style them on my amazing model!). So I decided to wear this lace skirt I got around two years ago, paired it with a casual button down; I knotted to make it even more casual. Sunday was very relaxing, I exercised, cook, did some homework and I had to run some errands for my computer (yes! the hard-drive is completely dead but Best Buy was able to recover all my information...so excited about that!). Since I was already at the mall... I went to Zara and it was FULL of crochet and lace- everything was so gorgeous but I contained myself and I didn't buy anything! Have a great week! XOXO

El reto de esta semana era usar encaje o crochet (las invito a ver este REMIX con una camisa de encaje que es de mis favorita, este vestido de encaje crema, y otro negro); pero tengo que dejar de hacerlos el domingo porque no tengo ninguna ocasión especial para vestirme. Tenía muchísimas ganas de usar unos shorts crochet nenes espectaculares que 2020Ave me prestó para la sesión de fotos en la que soy la estilista- pero no quise pasarme de abusadora como hice en la boda que usé uno de los vestidos que se supone que era para la sesión (pero miren los shorts.. diganme si no son HERMOSOS!). Así que decidí usar esta falda de encaje negra que tengo desde hace dos años; para hacer el look más casual utilicé una camisa anudada y unas cuñas. El domingo fue bastante tranquilo; hice ejercicio, cociné, salí a hacer unas diligencias de mi computadora (¿les conté que se daño? Pero afortunadamente Best Buy pudo sacarle toda la información... no perdí nada, que emoción!), y entre a Zara. Y Zara esta absolutamente lleno de crochet y encaje- todo espectaculares. Se que el outfit no es nada del otro mundo para el reto, les prometo que para el próximo no lo voy a dejar para última hora... y así no tiene que ser un look casual y dominguero! FELIZ SEMANA!!
