Faking fall...

I absolutely love this outfit, I wish I could just wear this every day…I like dressing a little edgy. Btw, I know that at least one of you is going to say that this is to "fall" for Miami but 1) I want to also give ideas to the lucky girls that live in cities with seasons, and 2) in Miami, you are always indoors..so this isn't too hot at all.This time I paired them with some of my favorite pieces (pieces that you have seen tons and tons of times) like my denim shorts, my plaid shirt, and my fave leather jacket.

This look is part of a collaboration with Lookbook.nu and Dr. Martens; the boots are the classic combat boots and I know I'm going to wear them a lot (they don't only give an edge to any outfit but they are so comfortable).  I really liked Dr. Martens latest campaign, it celebrates free-thinking individuals while empowering something worth worth standing for….. I've always felt like fashion should be about expressing our uniqueness through clothes….so tell me, what do you stand for?

Este outfit me encanta… ¡les he comentado que me gusta la idea de vestirme más edgy!! Se que por ahí alguna va a comentar que este look es muy "otoñal" para Miami pero 1) quiero darle ideas a las chicas que viven más al norte y son afortunadas de disfrutar los cambios de clima, y 2) Uno en Miami se la pasa en el aire acondicionado.  En esta ocasión las usé con piezas que básicamente han visto muchas pero muchas veces:  una camisa blanca, mi chaqueta de cuero, una camisa de cuadritos a la cintura,  y mis shorts de jean favoritos.

Este look es part de una colaboración con Lookbook.nu y Dr. Martens; estas botas de Dr Martens son las clásicas "combat boots" y siento que les voy a dar mucho pero MUCHO uso (son comodísimas, aparte). La última campaña de esta marca me gustó mucho- fue inspirada en no tener miedo de expresar quienes somos…y esa es una de las cosas que les mencionó mucho: que usen la moda para mostrarle al mundo que te hace único y diferente.
