I feel like I went a little overboard with planning outfits so I would always have content while being in NYC- we took this pictures while I was packing and I actually wore it during my second week of internship with black flats. My idea was having outfits with several layers so I could adapt them depending on the weather (when I wore it was still cold; but nowadays, I would wear it without the beanie and without the big black coat). I almost re-wore it to take pictures with it in NYC because there's something I don't love about the photos...but whatever- what's done is done. When I wore this look I felt like a fish out of the water...I feel like most of the people in NYC wouldn't wear colors this bright until the actual summer. But it was fun to step away from the typical NYC black/white. Have an amazing day! XOXO

Creo que exageré planeando outfits para no quedarme sin contenido en Nueva York- este lo hice todavía estando en Miami mientras hacia las maletas y lo utilicé la segunda semana durante la pasantía con flats negros. Mi idea era tener un outfit con bastantes capas que aguantaran el frío de Nueva York a finales de marzo...si de marzo, estoy bastante atrasada (hoy en día lo utilizaría sin la chaqueta negra y sin el sombrerito...pero todavía se necesitan dos capitas). Estuve apunto de pedirle a Gabo mientras estaba en NYC que volvieramos a tomar estas fotos porque hay algo que no me convencía de ellas. Como les digo, si las tuviese que volver a tomar, lo haría sin la chaqueta y sin el sombrero....pero a lo echo pecho! Cuando utilicé este look me sentí como un pez fuera del agua...creo que casi NADIE en Nueva York usa un color tan llamativo  hasta julio/agosto. Les deseo un feliz día! Un abrazo grandísimo

This was another of the looks from the video "We live, we blog, we dance...."- I liked a lot too so I saved it to wear it later. I haven't posted until know because I was planning to wear it again in NYC- but the weather is not cooperating with me haha. I wore this a couple of months ago to go to a Clarins event with latina bloggers (I'm sure you guessed it was a while ago because of the not-ombre hair). I have been trying the Clarins products so wait for a BeautySunday about them. Gabo is visiting me here in NYC until tomorrow and we have been taking pictures like crazy- but I don't know why, I've been wearing so much B&W...there's definitely something about New York that makes you wear darker colors. Este fue otro de los looks del video "We live, we blog, we dance...." que me gustó tanto que lo guarde para usarlo luego. Esto lo utilicé hace ya unos meses (como pueden ver por el cabello mucho más largo y sin las mechas californianas) para ir a un evento de la marca de belleza Clarins. Ahí aprendí pequeños truquitos sobre como aplicar las cremas y también he estado probando varios productos que ya les contaré en un "BEAUTYSUNDAY". No se porque desde que llegué a Nueva York he estado usando tanto blanco y negro... hay algo de esta ciudad que te hace querer usar colores más sobrios (al menos a mi me pasa). Gabo ha estado desde la semana pasada visitándome y hemos tomado muchísimas fotos pero quiero intercalarlas porque son todos looks B&W . No fueron planeados, creo que fue por traer la menor cantidad de ropa posible y que combinara toda entre si. Pero bueno...espero que tengan una bonita semana!! Un abrazo inmenso!

I have already admitted that I have been planning my NYC outfits from Miami because my boyfriend wasn't coming to New York with me (well, I'm so happy that he is here this weekend, and we have been taking pics around the city like crazy!). This is another of the looks we took in Miami- but I brought all the items so I could wear it exactly like in the pictures. I'm very excited that the weather is getting better and better every day- this means no more coats and scarfs. I started this outfit with simple white jeans and a black top with lace details; then I added this fun two toned jacket with leather sleeves; the coolest metallic pumps and a cute black clutch.

Anteriormente les admití que he estado planeando los looks de Nueva York desde Miami porque mi novio, que es quien me toma las fotos, no iba a estar conmigo.  Este es otro de los looks que tomamos en Miami pero que me traje todas las piezas para usar el outfit completo en NYC. El clima ha estado mejorando muchísimo y ya puedo estar sin bufandas y mega chaquetotas (no se preocupen, que este fin he tomado muchísimas fotos por todo Manhattan). En este outfit empecé con unos jeans blancos, a los cuales siento que les voy a sacar mucho provecho esta primavera; una chaqueta con tonos azules y mangas de cuero; una camisa negra hermosa con detalles de encaje a los lados; unos tacones metálicos y una carterita tipo sobre.

As I've told you on the last post, last Saturday I was the host of a fun party with Jergens Crema with Latina bloggers...and well, this is what I wore. Since it was at my place, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible but still kinda cute. This meant: an A line skirt in lavender, and a long-sleeve crochet top. The party was from noon to 3pm- so around 5, I headed out to have an early dinner with Gabo and Tati from Furor Moda at one of the best sushi places in Miami. Btw, I know my hair is looking crazy in the lasts posts... I traveled with the least luggage possible to Miami (which means I left my blower, and straightening iron... so I had to improvise a little.) I hope you have an amazing weekend!! XOXO

Como les conté en el artículo anterior, el sábado fui la anfitriona de una fiesta junto a Jergens Crema y blogueras de moda...y esto fue lo que utilicé. Como era en mi casa, quería estar cómoda pero igual estar   algo arregladita. La mejor opción: una falda en A de un color moradito y un top con encaje manga larga. La fiesta fue del mediodía hasta las 3 de la tarde- luego fui a comer con Gabo y con Tati de Furor Moda. Fuimos a un sitio de sushi que es de mis favoritos en Miami y estabamos antojadísimos. Por cierto, disculpen mi cabello: me fui a Miami con lo menos posible (eso significa que dejé mi plancha y secador en Nueva York.... y bueno, tuve que improvisar un poco jajaj). Espero que pasen un fin de semana lindísimo y que descansen mucho! Un abrazo!

Last Saturday I went to Miami for the weekend; mainly to host a party for the Jergens Crema with an amazing group of hispanic bloggers. I have to admit I was a little nervous; first because it was at my home and I was scared that nobody would showed up. On the contrary, an big group of amazing bloggers went...and I felt so happy and loved. We were sharing beauty secrets while having light bites and delicious mimosas. Also, I was telling them about the Jergens lotions and how amazing they are to soften and nourish the skin. Some shared that their grandmothers used them back in the day; and that's the best...when beauty tips are handed down from generation to generation. There are also three variations; coconut, aloe vera, oatmeal (everyone had their favorites...I think mine is coconut). Once again, thanks to Jergens for the opportunity and thanks to my amazing Miami bloggers for all the love and support! XOXO

El sábado pasado estuve en Miami por el fin de semana; una de las razones principales fue para ser la anfitriona de una fiesta junto a la crema Jergens y un grupo fantástico de blogueras latinas. Les tengo que admitir que estaba bastante nerviosa; era en mi casa y tenía pánico que nadie fuese a ir. Pero fue totalmente lo contrario, quedé muy alegre porque la gran mayoría fue...y les tengo un cariño especial a todas las que fueron. Estuvimos compartiendo secretos de belleza mientras comíamos pasapalos y tomabamos mimosas. También les estuve contando de las cremas Jergens; y lo espectaculares que son para hidratar la piel- tanto así que han pasado de generación en generación (muchas compartieron que se acuerdan de ver a sus abuelitas usándolas). También estuvimos probando las tres variaciones: de coco, de avena y de aloe vera (todas tenían sus favoritas!). Una vez más, gracias a Jergens por la oportunidad... y gracias a todas las blogueras por el apoyo y cariño!!
