I can't believe how fast the time is flying by! Another Saturday, another #hisklozet.
I never know what to write in these posts...so I thought that maybe Gabo should share some short photography tips. Even though he is officially a psychologist, he is also a great photographer!!

Today's tip"
"Street style fashion photos are all about the casual photography look with an artistic twist. Natural light is all that we have, so when picking a spot the direction, amount, and type of lighting conditions is of utmost importance. When photographing in a very sunny day. Pick an area with shade for more even and pleasing light on your subject. However don't neglect the background, because these are very important in your photographs"

¡Qué rápido está pasando el tiempo! Ya es otro sábado, así que les traigo otro #hisklozet.
Estaba pensando que escribir en esta parte del blog así que se me ocurrió que cada semana, Gabo comparta con ustedes algún tip de fotografía. Aunque Gabo es psicólogo, ya puede decirse que está hecho todo un fotógrafo profesional.

Hoy nos cuenta: 
"Las fotos tipo streetstyle se tratan de lograr un look casual con un giro artístico. En estos casos, lo mejor es utilizar luz natural. Por eso, cuando escojas un lugar para las fotos, es extremadamente importante prestar atención a la iluminación. Durante días muy soleados, nosotros buscamos áreas con sombra para que la iluminación sea constante y las fotos sean más atractivas"

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry, I feel like I haven't posted in ages. The funny part is that I was tweeting today that you need to be extremely dedicated to your blog if you want to have one. I'm not saying you have to post every single day, but you you should have like a schedule (it could be weekly, three times a week or everyday)...what's really important is your passion and your effort.

I wore this last week to have luch with Sandy from Sira&Mara and Kristin from Living in Color print. We went to a crepe little place and we talked and talked and talked. I wore this comfy dress with a fun print with simple accessories. Finally I added this salmon color bag from Daniele Nicole- who has become one of my favorite bag designers. The quality of the bags is incredible and the prices are even more incredible.

¡Hola a todas! Mil disculpas por el pequeño abandono en el blog. Justo hoy estaba twiteando que para tener un blog hay que tener mucha dedicación...yo lo máximo que he pasado sin actualizar desde el 2009, han sido dos días!!  No digo que es necesario subir posts todo los días, pero si tener un rutina. Puede ser una vez a la semana, los lunes-miércoles-viernes, todos los días...pero lo importante es el corazón que le pones.

Esto lo utilicé la semana pasada para ir a comer con Sandy de Sira&Mara y Kristin de Living in Color Print. Fuimos a un restaurante de crepes muy rico, y hablamos hasta más no poder. Quise utilizar este vestido cómodo y llamativo, muy fácil de combinar con accesorios sencillos. Finalmente agregué esta cartera color salmón de Daniele Nicole, que se ha convertido en mi diseñadora favorita de carteras. Los precios son increíbles y las carteras se ven de la misma calidad de cualquiera de cientos de dólares.

You might already know and I'm sure you are getting ready for Thanksgiving and all the amazing Black Friday deals. I'll tell you more about this event in particular on Thursday but A&F is going to have amazing deals starting this Thursday at 8pm. In this outfit I'm wearing almost everything from A&F and I was so impressed by the trendy but still versatile items of the store.

Is it me or the 90s seem to everywhere? and I'm loving it. I have been wearing this plaid shirt around my waist for a couple of days. I forgot how comfy it is...you get cold..and there it is!! I also love this cute sweater with a puppy (it's also very warm... thankfully I wore it to the movies and it was freezing there!!) Finally I really like the trend of wearing little girl's socks with boots...it definitely edges the grunginess of a boot. Hope you are having a great day! XOXO

  Como ya deben saber, este semana es Thanksgiving y deben estar super pendientes de Black Friday y los mega descuentos. El mismo jueves le contaré en detalle pero A&F va a tener unos descuentos que no se pueden perder desde las 8pm de este jueves. En esta outfit me uno a A&F, quedé impresionada con la variedad de piezas - no solo versátiles sino también a la moda.

¿Son ideas mías o en todas las tiendas se siente una vibra noventosa? Y yo encantada....Llevo ya dos días utilizando esta camisa de cuadros a la cintura.. y no me acordaba lo cómodo que es utilizar camisas o sueteres amarrados a la cintura (si te da frío, ¡listo, ahí lo tienes!). También me encantó este suéter de A&F que dice " I don't fetch", es calientito (menos mal que lo utilicé para ir al cine...porque sino me derrito en Miami). También me gusta mucho la tendencia de usar medias de niñita con botas- siento que le da un toque más femenino a las mismas. ¡¡¡Un abrazo grandísimo!!!

I don't know why it took me so long to publish this look...I wore it at least 3 weeks ago!! I wore it for a meeting.  I'm so excited about all the projects I have going on. I can't wait to share them...but I already shared a sneak peek on Instagram...of my swimsuit line!!! I have to admit I'm very nervous but I'm also very excited... I think I'm experimenting and let's see how it goes! Thanks for all the sweet comments on Instagram...it means so much!! XOXO

No se porque tardé tanto en publicar este look...pero es de al menos hace 3 semanas. Esto lo utilicé a principios de Noviembre para una reunión de trabajo; como les conté ando con muchos proyectos divertidos. Uno de ellos es una línea de traje de baños, viviendo en Miami me encanta esta idea.  Les admito que estoy un poco nerviosa al aventurarme en diferentes proyectos, pero me gusta la idea de experimentar hasta encontrar lo que más disfruto. Tal vez ya vieron un pequeño adelanto por Instagram, y a todas las que me dejaron comentarios: gracias por todo el apoyo y sus palabras alentadoras! Les mando un abrazo inmenso!

Here's another look from #hisklozet- I'm really trying to do this every Sunday. Gabo finally found a black and white plaid shirt at Target. We regularly go to Target mostly for groceries but they really have great clothing at great prices. He paired it with all b&w pieces and finally he added some wooden sunglasses from Woodze.

By the way, Gabo is doing the whole "movember" thing of not shaving during the whole month of November to create cancer awareness in men. Remember to share the importance of the yearly exam to the men in our life!

Hoy les traigo otro look de #hisklozet como todos los sábados. Gabo tenía tiempo buscando una camisa de cuadritos blanco/negra y la encontró en Target. Nosotros siempre vamos a Target especialmente para  comprar todo lo que es supermercado, pero de verdad que tienen excelente ropa a excelente precio.  Este look lo combinó con piezas blanco y negra igual.. y finalmente agregó estos lentes de sol de Woodze, que son de madera.

Por cierto Gabo anda haciendo el reto de Movember- lo de no afeitarse por todo el mes de Noviembre para crear conciencia sobre el cáncer de próstata. Así que ya saben, hay que recordarle a los hombres de nuestras vida la importancia del examen médico.

No puedo creer que ya estamos a finales de Noviembre...las buenas noticias: se acercan el día de Acción de Gracias, Black Friday, y las fiestas decembrinas.
