Some days I can’t believe I get to share my passion for fashion for a living. Some days I have to pinch myself because I get to work with brands I’ve loved since I was a teenager- and this is one of those days. So today, in collaboration with Abercrombie, I’m writing a letter to my 16 year old self hoping that I can inspire you all to take part the pursuit to be your best selves.
One of the questions we get asked A LOT is: how is it working together? I personally love it.
Sometimes I think what our lives would have been without blog and I cannot picture ourselves working 9 to 5 jobs and hanging out after work or living around the weekends. We love having our own schedule and pushing ourselves to reach our goals and dreams. We love traveling the world, sleeping in, and working until late.
Yes, we do fight when working- and I have to say it's always my fault! I'm very picky about what I want and I get frustrated when things don't go my way. Sometimes I even grab the camera and show him the exact shot I'm looking for. But he is absolutely amazing and what he does and I know I'm very lucky to have him...and that he ended loving photography as much as he does. Fun fact: he has a doctorate in Psychology.
When we are shooting together, we rarely take more than 15 min. He knows my angles better than anybody else. He knows the drill: details, full body shots, action shots, etc.
When we are doing "his and hers", it's tricky. Sometimes we do a tripod (you can see Gabe holding the phone to click while posing)...and sometimes we ask our dear photographer friends to be the ones behind the camera.
This time we asked Karla from KOhhSnap.com She is one of our favorites- Gabe even shot her wedding, so the love is definitely mutual. We love how this pictures came out...the forest vibe, the denim...love it all! Hope you like them too!
Let me know if you have specific questions about us, and I'll make sure to answer them in the next one! XOXO

Maybe I have already mentioned it here, but I recently talked about this in my "50 random things about me" video on Youtube...I really enjoy reading about aliens, witchcraft, conspiracy theories, and everything in between. Don't get me wrong, I don't get obsessed about it...I just find it SO interesting. I got this shirt because of the moon, sun, and zodiac...when I got it, I realized it has the "all-seeing eye"...which is huge in the illuminati symbolism. I promise I'm not part of any cult...it's just a cool shirt! I wore the day we were coming back from New York...our flight got delayed several times so we even got to do brunch in a cute "french" restaurant. I put the quotations because it was an interesting place, with salsa music in the background. But that's one of the things I love the most about New York...it really is a melting pot. I remember I was with a friend in Midtown trying to figure out where to it and we couldn't choose because of the variety- within 50 steps, there was japanese, Chinese, French, Italian, Mexican, Indian, and more! This is my travel uniform, black jeans, loose shirt, a beanie (to conceal my crazy hair), sunglasses ( to conceal my lack of sleep), and a big handbag to throw 1000 things like Mary Poppins.
Sending you a HUGE HUG! XOXO

L@s adoro!
The third day on St. Augustine, we went to an archeological park called "The Fountain of Youth". Being a 100% honest, we thought St. Augustine was going to be a little different. We thought it was going to be a small OLD city with tons of history…instead we found a mini disney. It is very tourist-y and you have to pay to see absolutely anything (which I understand, it's part of the conservation). On the other hand, I thought it was very interesting…I was the geek girl reading every little paragraph about the town. That day was extra hot, so I went for shorts, a crop top, and gladiator sandals (plus tons of sunscreen for no weird gladiator tan). Enjoy the pics of the park! XOXO

And March is here... which means that Spring is right round the corner. Since it's a transitioning period, I wanted pair this flirty and summery dress with a tough leather jacket- I feel like it balances the girly-ness of the dress.
This time I'm partnering with Abercrombie to tell you a little bit about their Spring dresses. As everything in the store, the quality is outstanding....and I have to admit something: I love their junior sizing...it's perfect for us petite girls (we don't have to worry about tailoring the length of the skirt/dress) Check out all the variety of dresses of different prints, colors, and fabrics by clicking here.
I have another confession...since we got engaged, I've been obviously looking at wedding dresses. This makes me look at white summer dresses with a whole different perspective. I love them but when I try them on I feel like like a crazy bride that's dying to get married haha. Maybe that's why adding the leather detail was crucial to me!!
How would you wear this lace white dress?
