HAIR TUTORIAL: How to do a sleek wave? NYFW inspired: Misha Nonoo S/S15

Hey girls! New York Fashion Week was SO much fun…and besides getting tons of inspiration fashion-wise, I love looking at what the designers are sending down the runway in terms of make-up and hairstyles.

Most of the tutorials I’ve done so far include big hair; a  reason why today I wanted to do more of a sophisticated look, inspired by the hairstyle the models at Misha Nonoo were sporting on the runway

¡Hola!!  Como ya saben, la pasé espectacular en la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York…aparte de ver los últimos looks de la temporada, también me fijé en el maquillaje y peinado de las modelos.

Ya que la mayoría de los tutoriales que he hecho han sido de rizos o trenzas; por eso se me ocurrió hacer este peinado un poquito más sofisticado inspirado en el peinado que llevaron las modelos en el show de Misha Nonoo!!

LET’S START:

1) Start by parting your hair on your preferred side

2) Apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse at the root.

3) Use a blow-dryer to dry the roots and smooth down your hair- we want it to look as sleek and polished as the inspiration. You can also spray a little bit of TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray to control any baby hairs

4) Take large sections of hair and curl them vertically using the widest curling iron you have. Run your fingers through the hair to loosen the waves even more, but keep the top smooth.

5) Finish the look by tucking the hair on one side behind the ear and spray TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Spray all over for a flexible, long-lasting style.

EMPECEMOS::

1) Empieza dividiendo tu cabello por tu lado de preferencia.

2) Aplica un mousse como TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse en la raiz.

3) Usa tu secador para secar el mousse y asi aplacar el cabello…queremos alisarlo para que el peinado se vea pulido. También puedes aplicar un poco de laca como  TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray para aplacar los pelos chiquitos.

4) Ahora vamos a rizarlo un poco;  al usar una rizadora ancha y al utilizar mechones grandes, las ondas van a quedar bastante sueltas…pero igualmente abrelas un poco más con tus dedos. Asegurate de dejar la parte de arriba lisa.

5) Finalmente, solo mete el cabello detrás de tu oreja y aplica un poco de laca como TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse para que el peinado te dure todo el día.
