This partnership with Zella, Nordstrom’s in-house lifestyle brand, has been so fun- especially because I get to show you the cutest and comfiest loungewear- especially if you are like me and you are lucky enough to work from home in these times.
But as we are learning to live with this new normal, I wanted to show you some ways you can “spice up” your loungewear and make it the cutest outfit for a date outdoors, run some errands…just add your favorite mask and you are ready to go.
I’m wearing this crewneck sweatshirt all the time- which comes in a few colors! I mostly wear it at home with its matching shorts (and if you love joggers, the matching joggers are available too).
To wear it out and about, just add your favorite jeans! I wanted to feel a little dressier so I added the booties, but you can definitely wear your favorite sneakers and it’s such a perfect look for errands.
These leggings are super soft but they hug your curves. You can wear them to work out (here I paired them with the Rhythm Sports Bra- best for low impact like yoga), to lounge around (they are also featured in the lounge look with the hoodie!), and they look amazing with some boots, a cute tee (here I am wearing the the washed tie Dye Studio T shirt ) and a leather jacket- perfect for those days you want to be comfortable but still look cute!
My husband wore this hoodie in the previous post we did with Zella BUT I have a weakness for men’s hoodies. The fit is a little longer and roomier. As mentioned, I first wore it with the lounge leggings . Then for the dressier look, I just added some biker shorts and over the knee boots! I think this might be my favorite look!
I prefer to shop online, BUT sometimes I can’t wait! When I shop at Nordstrom , I click the option for “free pickup” at my closest local store!
Nordstrom is also having free shipping and returns, and you can sign up to become a member of The Nordy Club by clicking HERE and enjoy exclusive perks like members-only access to sales and events.

I’ve been super excited about the Holiday Season. I started decorating on November 1st, playing Holiday music, and planning my gifts to my loved ones.
This season is also a great time to update your wardrobe for winter. My advice is to go for pieces that you can wear now, this Holiday, but that will also work the rest of the Winter and Spring.
Start with a pair of jeans that make you feel SO good. I got these jeans from maurices and I’m absolutely loving the fit and the way they hug my curves. They are also really easy to dress up or down, to layer-up, and wear all year round.
I want to show you 3 easy ways to style them so you can get inspired:
LOOK 1 : COMFY and CUTE
I wanted to pair the jeans with this sweater from maurices. I really like the light pink color. It’s super cozy for Winter but it looks cute with a floral skirt for -still cold- Spring days!
I finished look #1 with some comfortable but fashionable black boots and some gold hoop earrings! This is such an easy, every day combo!
LOOK 2: HOLIDAY READY
Again, my advice is to get pieces you can wear after the Holidays. This sweater is red and cream, BUT you can wear it in February (Valentine’s outfit idea!). I added the black jacket that it’s such a must in cold weather and I paired it with some over the knee boots!. Last touch: this cute faux fur pom hat!
LOOK 3: WINTER
This white plaid jacket makes a statement but it is such a staple piece you can wear year after year. I paired it with some cozy pullover sweater, and some cognac tall boots!
Which look is your favorite?
Check out the maurices Jeans Shop. They have a great variety of styles (jeggings, bootcut, skinny, boyfriend, etc) in all washes, and an amazing variety of sizes (plus size and regular with a variety of inseams for the petite ladiesss!).

I live in Miami and I wear boots year-round (yes, no matter how hot it gets)…I absolutely love the look and feel they give to any outfit. They can make a pair of denim shorts look boho or edgy…and give the final touch to a simple fall outfit.
So I wanted to round out the 5 boot styles I believe every woman should have in their shoe closet.
All the styles I’m recommending are from Nordstrom Rack, aka designer brands at a great price (you can save up to 70% offf designer brands). Let me know which style is your favorite!
1) OVER THE BOOTS
I absolutely adore how over-the-knee boots look! They make such a fashionable statement, while keeping you warm.
I love wearing them with shorts, skirts and dresses + sweaters for the colder Miami days. And I always take them with me when I travel during the cold months since they look amazing with jeans and over tights.
My advice is to go for a comfortable pair with a thicker heel or a flat over the boot for more casual looks.

Animal print booties can bring to life any neutral outfit. Leopard is timeless, but I’m loving snake print even more!
Outfit idea: jeans, a turtleneck, a camel coat + leopard booties!

My go-to color for fall is burgundy, it is extremely versatile and it has a wow-factor!
You will always get so many compliments when wearing these boots! They look great with black, white, nude, camel, gray, with florals, and plaid!
Go for that pair that makes you feel absolutely gorgeous!
My favorite pair is black because of its versatility, but again, you should definitely own a pair of high heeled booties that make you feel like you can do absolutely ANYTHING!
I'm super excited that October is right around the corner, it is my birth month and I absolutely love dressing up. I'm a scorpio so my inner witchy side is more than happy to show.
I know I'll wear this black leather skirt a lot, but I'm most excited about these tights. I've been looking for a pair of tights like this since the last Holiday season. I honestly can't wait to wear them for a Holiday party or for New Years eve.
I also added a few spooky books to start feeling the Halloween vibe.

Nico, our two-year-old, was supposed to start school this season. We had chosen a little school for him to go half day. Since my husband and I work together, this would have given us time to focus on our projects for a few hours a day. Also, we wanted him to start interacting with other kids, and learn something every day.
Well, this year is definitely different from anything we would have ever imagine, and our plans changed. However, the current worldwide circumstances might have postponed OUR planes, but it doesn’t stop him from growing and needing to learn new things.
So, I’ve been googling activities with him, and to have some sort of learning environment and stimulate his brain in a playful way. I’ve ordered a few things: canvas, kid friendly paint, more colors, playdough, books, etc.
I also got this beautiful Vera Bradley backpack; and yes, it is for me! I loved the print and I know I’m going to use it when we travel or as a diaper bag (because it has so many compartments and it fits EVERYTHING, even a 15’ laptop).
This backpack is super lightweight but it fits all of his home-school things. I have everything organized inside so when it’s time to learn I take the backpack and I quickly set up whatever we are doing that afternoon.
It comes in 7 extremely cute patterns, and 4 solid colors. But I haven’t mentioned the best part, it is made from recycled water bottles (24 go into every pack), it is also durable and water repellent!
I can’t wait for him to get his own little backpack and go to school- but for now, I’ll enjoy this Vera Bradley for me and I’ll enjoy all the time I’m able to spend with him.
I’m absolutely loving the whole Back To School collection from Vera Bradley, there are also lunch boxes, stationary, and dorm accessories (all in a vast array of the cutest patterns and colors). And until 8/17/, there is a 25% Back-To-School essentials! Click here to learn more!
I also got this lunch cooler that I think it’s going to be perfect for the beach or picnics at the park!
We shouldn’t let this year get the back-to-school excitement from us and our little ones!
