This long weekend was mostly relaxing (except because of my weekly gradschool essays that are driving me a little nuts). Yesterday, Monday, I went to my friend Steffy's house to eat tacos with Maria from Notes of Style and our respective significant others. We had so much fun and the food was delicious...thank you Matt! Yesterday we were talking about that, I feel like in modern relationships...it's the guy that actually knows how to cook. Steffy, Maria, and I only know how to do the basics...while Matt, Mariano, and Gabo are the experts in the kitchen. It was also one of those nights that I felt like "yeah.. we are grown ups...we are hanging out with married couples" hahaha. Hope you are having a great day! XOXO

Este fin de semana largo fue totalmente de descanso ( y de un par de ensayos fastidiosos del postgrado). Ayer, lunes, fui a casa de mi amiga bloguera Steffy para comer tacos junto a Maria de Notes of Style y nuestros respectivos esposos/futuros esposos. La pasamos increíble y comimos exquisito. Justamente en la cena estabamos hablando que en las relaciones modernas, es el hombre el que cocina. Steffy, María y yo solo sabemos lo básico, mientras que Matt, Mariano y Gabo son los que hacen las comidas más elaboradas. Fue de esas noches que nos sentimos "viejos"...mi primer comentario al montarnos en el carro fue "wow, ahora estamos saliendo con parejas de casados jajaj". ¡Les mando un abrazo grandísimo y les deseo un feliz martes! ¡Besos!

Hello, I posted a comment not too long ago criticizing your post. I want apologize if I offended you in any way or form. I am actually a conducting a sociology research on personal blogs. I chose fashion and social blogs for my research purpose. My intent is to find different blogs and post comments that might incite some sort of reaction from the bloggers themselves. I chose yours because I'm a fan of lookbook and you come up there pretty often. I do not mean most of the things I said on the past comment, but I am glad I could get a reaction from you. From all the different blogs I've chosen you are one out of twelve people that actually responded the comment. What I'm actually looking for is to see how personal bloggers really connect with their blogs, you seemed to take it pretty personal. I'm also interested in defining how we relate to each other as internet users. How people find your blog, how they decide to keep up with it or not. But mainly Im interested in figuring out what prompts people to come up with blogs in the first place. I personally do not understand that type of expression, which is why I chose this as my topic of research. Again, I apologize if I offended you. Like you said you share a bit of your life in the blog and that's all people get to know about you. That is one of the most interesting things I've found doing this research, what bloggers decide to share and not to share, it ranges from personal and commercial information to instructive and opinionated feedback. I also found that the only way to acquire this specific information in an accurate, non biased way is by staying anonymous and not telling you my purpose up front other wise I get made up information. DeleteThank you, sincerely. Because when I started this project I actually believed that most people with a blog were stupid and self centered. However, in doing this project I found that the statement you made was one of the most important yet. You post five minutes of your life and that's it. You put yourself out there risking being judged and misunderstood and in a way that is actually pretty brave. Hope you have plenty of good days to come and hope you continue blogging as a self expression and because it makes you happy and not with an overwhelming concern for random followers and or comments. Blogging is self expression, just like any art and it should also be respected, that is the main conclusion in my project.
