FITNESS FRIDAY: fitness routine for beginners with Zumba® wear

My wedding is around 6 months away…you know what that means? I want to get in the best shape possible. Today, I’m partnering up with Zumba® wear for an easy routine that you can do at home, at the gym, or wherever you are.

One of the best things to get motivated to go to the gym is to go shopping for workout gear. Having new and high quality workout apparel is the perfect excuse to start living a healthier life. Zumba® not only has cool patterns and colors, but it also has Z-Dri technology, a high-performance moisture wicking system that keeps the body dry. I also really like the versatility of the pieces; for example, this sports bra is reversible (print on one side, and dark purple on the other)

¡Faltan aproximadamente 6 meses para nuestra boda!...¿saben lo que eso significa? Que quiero estar en estar en forma. Hoy me uno a Zumba® wear para una rutina muy sencilla que pueden hacer en casa, en el gimnasio, o donde sea que estes.

Una excusa perfecta para mantenerte motivada es ir comprar ropa de hacer ejercicio nueva. Zumba® tiene unos estampados y colores lindísimos; y una tecnología llamada Z-Dri en la tela que mantiene el cuerpo seco. También me gusto mucho la versatilidad de las piezas; por ejemplo, este sostén de deporte es reversible (tiene estampado de un lado y es morado oscuro del otro).

CARDIO:
Start with a little cardio; you can run, jog, ride your bike, dance …anything you want. You can start doing 15 minutes of cardio and increase the time or intensity per week. I did 15 minutes of spinning;  but the Zumba® Energy Push High sneakers are specially great for dancing. They increase mobility and they allow you to slide on any floor or surface.


Empieza haciendo cardio; puedes correr, trotar, montar bicicleta, saltar cuerda...lo que tu quieras. Empieza haciendo 15 minutos de cardio y poco a poco vas aumentando la intensidad o el tiempo.  Yo hice 15 minutos de spinning; estos zapatos son buenísimos para bailar, pronto los usaré para hacer Zumba.






ROUTINE:

-4 sets of 12 push-ups. (I hate push-ups; my goal is to eventually stop doing knee push ups and do them the way they are supposed to be done)

- 4 sets de 12 flexiones (yo odio y siempre he odiado las flexiones. Poco a poco quiero dejar de hacerlas con las rodillas)







-4 sets of 15 squats (I used a 10-pound weight)

- 4 sets de 15 sentadillas (yo agregué una pesa de 10 libras. Si estás en tu casa, puedes agarrar unos libros)




- 4 sets of 25 abs.

- 4 sets de abdominales; si quieres, varía el tipo de abdominales.





- 4 sets of 30 sec regular planks.
- 4 sets de 30 segundos haciendo planchas.


Finally don’t forget to stretch out before and after your workout! Stretching is just as important as exercising since (1) decreases injuries by preparing muscles for the workout (2) improves flexibility (3) Corrects posture (4) Increases blood and nutrient supply to muscles; which results in reducing muscle soreness.

Por último no te olvides de estirar antes y después de entrenar! El estiramiento es tan importante como hacer ejercicio ya que (1) disminuye las lesiones ya que prepara los músculos para el entrenamiento (2) mejora la flexibilidad (3) Corrige la postura (4) Aumenta el suministro de sangre y nutrientes a los músculos; lo que se reduce dolor muscular al día siguiente.

So let me get this straight, youre just some rich girl from Venezuela, living the great life in Miami, pretending to be super fashionable and chic when what you really do is try to look like all the magazines and billboards...no mind of your own. While in Venezuela people are putting their lives on the line for their country, but of course that has nothing to do with you. You just keep on living your little fake american dream life, with your rip off fashion and your fitness routines. Im not commenting just to critizice you, Im just tired of all these little stupid blogs by mindless girls who think the most important thing in the world is themselves. Look outside girl, theres a world out there that doesnt give a crap about what you wear or look like
