Minimalist…with Big Star Denim

If you ask me, every woman must have some flattering and comfortable black skinny jeans in her closet. They are even more versatile (and chic) than the classic denim wash. You can wear them with a blazer and you look sophisticated enough for the office or a school presentation…or pair them with a simple white tee and sneakers to run some errands around town. This time I’m wearing some black skinny jeans from BigStar; the fit is amazing and they are extremely comfortable. I paired the jeans with a basic white top, black ankle booties, and a classic bag.

But I have to admit it, I was actually very inspired by an outfit Miranda Kerr wore a couple of months back….it can even be considered a look for less. Not only my jeans are half the price of hers, but all of her outfit surpasses the $20,000 (let’s blame that Hermes bag mainly but the Saint Laurent boots add up too!). I really like how a few gold touches and some cool sunglasses can update a simple black jeans+white tee look.

En mi opinión toda mujer debe tener en su closet unos buenos jeans color negro. Son aún más versátiles  ( y chic) que cualquier otro tono de jean. Puedes usarlos con un blazer y verte lo suficientemente sofisticada como para usar en el trabajo..o combinarlos con una camiseta blanca y zapatos de goma para hacer diligencias. En esta ocasión, estoy utilizando unos jeans negros de Big Star…son comodísimos. Combiné los jeans con piezas muy sencillas para un look bastante minimalista.

Pero también tengo que admitir que este look fue semi-inspirado en una combinación que utilizó Miranda Kerr hace unos meses…supongo que puede considerarse un "look por menos". No solo mis jeans cuestan la mitad de los de ella…sino que su look completo sobrepasa los $20 mil  (culpemos a su cartera Hermes y a sus botas Saint Laurent). Me gusta como un par de toques dorados y unos lentes de sol hacen que hasta el look más sencillo se vea lindo.
