I've gotten several request for more "his and her klozet"- and we actually enjoy doing them a lot (even if we have to use a tripod for the pics together). This time the look isn't identical, but it's extremely similar. We are both wearing the same style of sweater, black bottoms, black shoes, and black beanies. Both sweaters are from "Mr GUGU & Miss Go ; a cool company with the coolest graphic clothes (they have prints from french fries to galaxies). The best part is that I tried on Gab's sweater and I'm definitely wearing it soon. I hope you like the pics and let me know if you want to see more of hits! XOXO

Me han pedido que regreso con la sección de "His and Her Klozet"- y de verdad que nos divierte muchísimo así tengamos que usar el trípode para las fotos juntos. En esta ocasión el look no es tan idéntico como ha sido en ocasiones previas; pero obviamente pueden ver lo similar. Tenemos el mismo tipo de suéter, parte de abajo negra, zapatos negros, y sombreritos negros. Ambos suéteres son de "Mr GUGU & Miss Go"; una compañia con ropa con gráficos super originales (desde papitas fritas y hamburguesas hasta galaxias). Lo mejor de todo es que me probé el de Gabo,  y me queda perfecto...¡tal vez me lo ponga pronto! Espero que les haya gustado y me cuentan si quieren ver más así. ¡Un abrazo!

My parents are in town visiting from Venezuela because of my birthday; so as usual, we have been eating out and trying new restaurants. I wore this last Wednesday. I absolutely love this jeans from GJG denim - I really like the red leopard print. This brand based and manufactured in LA has the coolest jeans- great quality and price (for example none of the printed pants is over $50). I know I'm going to wear these a lot! This time, I wanted to pair the pants with a the sporty tee and some black booties. How would you wear these pants? XOXO

Hace unos días llegaron mis papás de Venezuela por mi cumpleaños y hemos estado paseando/saliendo a comer por Miami. Este outfit lo utilicé el miércoles pasado. Quería utilizar estos jeans espectaculares de GJG denim- con un estampado de leopardo rojo oscuro. Esta marca basada y producida en Los Angeles, tiene jeans de excelente calidad y a buen precio...ninguno de los jeans estampados pasan de los $50. Se que les voy a sacar muchísimo provecho por el estampado y el color...pero en esta ocasión quise combinarlos con la camisa tipo deportiva y unos  botines negros. ¿Cómo usarían estos pantalones? Un abrazo!!

Last Thursday was 4th of July or Independence Day here in the USA, I spent it "working" a little bit (I say "working" because I still don't consider the things for the blog WORK) I went to  Marco Carrasquillo's salon, he's an amazing celebrity hairstylist- he did a fun tutorial on how to retouch your ombré hair and then an interview with all the questions people left me on my original ombre at home video. This is what I wore for the video/interview; a gorgeous aquamarine maxi (which I want to wear every day), and a black crop top that's ready for a remix since I've worn it a lot lately. Since it was early in the morning, I wore wedges and just one statement accessory: the necklace. Hope you like the pics! XOXO

El jueves pasado, que por cierto era 4 de Julio y día libre en Estados Unidos, lo pasé "trabajando" un poquito.. lo pongo entre comillas porque no lo considero trabajo. Fui al salón del estilista de celebridades Marcos Carrasquillo a hacer un video sobre como retocar las mechas californianas y le hice una pequeña entrevista sobre las preguntas más frecuentes que me dejaron en el video original. Y esto fue lo que utilicé...una falda aquamarina que se ha convertido en mi favorita, la quiero usar con todo...y el top cortito negro que se ha convertido en otro favorito muy usado. Como era de día, quise combinar la falda con unas plataformas y una carterita cómoda. Espero que les gusten las fotos. Abrazos grandísimos!!

Besides sharing my daily outfits, I also want to start sharing a little bit of my work as a fashion stylist. This shoot was extremely fun to plan with "Gabriel Sanchez Photography". I had in mind something very retro, but still fun and modern....full of polka dots and pops of red. I slowly started pulling out merchandise from different boutiques from Miami and Kristin (from the blog Skinny Intern) was our fantastic model. We spent a whole day taking the pics and we are very happy with the final result.

We had to improvise a couple of times- security kicked us out of our original location, so we headed to the beach and a different pool. On the way, we even found an amazing vintage car that even matched the swimsuits!

Aparte de compartir mis looks diarios, quiero compartir con ustedes un poquito de mi trabajo como estilista. Esta sesión de fotos fue extremadamente divertida de planificar junto a "Gabriel Sanchez Photography"; tenía en mente algo muy retro y lleno de lunares. Poco a poco fui pidiendo ropa prestada de diferentes boutiques, y Kristin (del blog Skinny Intern) fue nuestra fantástica modelo. Estuvimos tomando las fotos un día completo y estamos muy contentos con el resultado.

Tuvimos que improvisar muchísimo- si les cuento que nos botaron del primer sitio donde teníamos planeadas todas las foto. Pero eso nos obligó a ejecutrar un plan B en cuestión de minutos...nos fuimos a la playa y hasta nos encontramos un carro vintage perfecto para las fotos.
