Key Transitional Pieces…with Lord & Taylor

Hello hello! :)

Even though the temperature in Miami keeps rising and rising, I’m SO ready for fall (or at least to pretend it’s fall in South Florida by wearing darker colors and booties with anything and everything).

This dress from Free People (available at  Lord & Taylor  ) is a great transition dress. It can work during the summer with sandals and a fedora or you can wear it with a denim jacket when the weather starts getting cooler. You can even add more layers like a leather jacket and some thigh-high boots for a more edgy look.

You all know I love ankle bootie, but because of my height they can make me look even shorter. The solution: NUDE BOOTIES! These are from Vince Camuto (also available at Lord & Taylor)  and are very comfortable. They even make me look a little bit taller than a regular bootie! Oh, and these are a great transitional piece…plus they are as versatile as black booties.

Aunque la temperatura en Miami sigue subiendo y subiendo... yo ya quiero que llegué el otoño (bueno..o al menos simular que es otoño porque en Miami nunca llega a ponerse frío...pero ya quiero empezar a usar colores mas oscuros...botitas, y una que otra campa).

Este vestido de Free People (disponible en  Lord & Taylor )  es una pieza de transición perfecta. Puedes usarla en el verano con sandalias y una fedora, luego con una chaquetita de blue jean cuando empieza a refrescar, y luego con una chaqueta de cuero y botas a la rodilla en días aún más fríos.

Ustedes saben que me encantan los botines...pero por mi altura, algunos me cortan la pierna y me hacen ver aún más chiquita. La solución: botines color nudo. Estos son de Vince Camuto (también disponibles en Lord & Taylor  y son muy cómodos. Siento que me hacen ver así sea un poquito más alta que una bota regular.... y son igual de versátiles que una botita negra.
