This Friday was all thunderstorms and non-stopping rain (yes, I sound like the weather girl) and it was almost impossible to take outfit pics... but we made it! I wore this amazing floral print skirt with a minty and some gold accessories. At first I headed to my boyfriend's place; to eat with his family and play with the new puppy they got. Then, Steffy from Steffy's Pros and Cons was having a housewarming party- her place is so cute (very HER), we had lots of fun and we even played a little dress up- if you follow me on instagram (@nanysklozet), you probably saw a pic of us playing with hats! El viernes no paró de llover en Miami (si, parezco la "chica del tiempo") y fue casi imposible tomar las fotos del outfit del dÃa; pero aprovechamos un tiempito entre aguacero y aguacero para tomarlas. Ayer usé una falda con un estampado floral espectaculares, agregué una blusita menta, accesorios dorados, y listo. Primero pasé por casa de mi novio , y luego nos fuimos a una fiesta que tuvo Steffy (from Steffy's Pros and cons) en su casa nueva. La pasamos cheverÃsimo, la casa es una ternura (muy ella).. y como siempre no podÃa faltar jugar a vestirnos - si me siguen en instagram (@Nanysklozet) probablemente vieron una foto con Tati y Steffy ...todas con sombreros. When we were planning the previous "celebrity inspired", we saw these other looks from Nina&Ian and we saved them because we weren't sure which one we wanted to do first. We were supposed to wait more time to post them so we wouldn't be so monotonous... but.. whatever! As you can see, we made a couple of changes to the look (like her shoes are snakeskin and her bag is brown and mine are the other way around)... but the inspiration is pretty obvious! My whole look costs less than her Mulberry bag (and that's even counting my bag, which is a little less affordable than the rest of my purses). Once again, I thank Gabo for joining me in this fun post... even though, he is definitely starting to like it- it was his idea today! It was a very casual day, we had lunch and head to exchange something for my styling photoshoot (which is finally this Saturday)- can't wait to take the pics and show them to you. Planeando el "Look por menos" de Nina e Ian la semana pasada, también guardamos este look que usaron en Coachella y estábamos indecisos de cual hacer- se supone que Ãbamos a esperar más entre uno y otro para no ser tan monótonos por aquÃ... pero que importa! Como pueden ver, el look no es totalmente idéntico pero las piezas son extremadamente similares y cuestan mucho menos. Mientras que Nina utilizó unas sandalias de estampado de culebra y una carterita pequeña marrón, yo invertà la combinación. También considero que el largo de mi vestido favorece más a las figuras petite. Una vez más... gracias a Gabo por acompañarme (aunque le está agarrando el gustito por hoy fue él el que quiso hacer el look). Hoy fuimos a comer y después rápido a cambiar unos zapatos para la sesión de fotos, que finalmente es el sábado. Espero que les gusten los looks por menos y que les haya gustado este! FELIZ DIA!

Recently, I've been getting a lot of comments saying that I'm wearing lots of neutral (yes, I have to admit I love a classic B&W combo)... so here' s a super bright color combo. This time I paired tangerine sleeveless shirt- which I actually wore with jeans to school today- but during the weekend, I added a red skirt for a different color combo (I got the inspiration from a dress I saw online a couple of weeks ago, but I can't find it!). Finally I added my favorite nude wedges to make my legs look longer and simple gold accessories that don't overwhelm the bright colors. What do you think of this colors together? Would you wear it? Ultimamente me han dicho que he estado muchos colores neutrales... asà que hoy les traigo una combinación LLENA de color! Este top "tangerine" (color del año según Pantone) lo combiné con unos jeans para la universidad hoy; pero el fin de semana quise utilizar un combo un poquito más arriesgado pero igual simple para el dÃa a dÃa en este caluroso Miami... lo que incluyó una falda roja (mi inspiración vino de un vestido con estos dos colores, pero no lo encuentró). Para terminar el look elegà unas plataformas nude- que hacen que las piernas se vean más largas- y accesorios simples dorados. ¿Qué opinan de esta combinación de colores? ¿Se atreven? This week's challenge was to wear crochet or lace ( check out this REMIX with my favorite lace tee, this cream lace dress and this black one ); however, I really have to stop doing the challenges on Sundays... I never have something special to do and they end up looking boring and so casual. I promise that next time I'll plan ahead! I actually wanted to wear this amazing neon crochet shorts from 2020Ave - I have them for the professional photoshoot I'm doing this week (so you'll have to wait to see how I style them on my amazing model!). So I decided to wear this lace skirt I got around two years ago, paired it with a casual button down; I knotted to make it even more casual. Sunday was very relaxing, I exercised, cook, did some homework and I had to run some errands for my computer (yes! the hard-drive is completely dead but Best Buy was able to recover all my information...so excited about that!). Since I was already at the mall... I went to Zara and it was FULL of crochet and lace- everything was so gorgeous but I contained myself and I didn't buy anything! Have a great week! XOXO

El reto de esta semana era usar encaje o crochet (las invito a ver este REMIX con una camisa de encaje que es de mis favorita, este vestido de encaje crema, y otro negro); pero tengo que dejar de hacerlos el domingo porque no tengo ninguna ocasión especial para vestirme. TenÃa muchÃsimas ganas de usar unos shorts crochet nenes espectaculares que 2020Ave me prestó para la sesión de fotos en la que soy la estilista- pero no quise pasarme de abusadora como hice en la boda que usé uno de los vestidos que se supone que era para la sesión (pero miren los shorts.. diganme si no son HERMOSOS!). Asà que decidà usar esta falda de encaje negra que tengo desde hace dos años; para hacer el look más casual utilicé una camisa anudada y unas cuñas. El domingo fue bastante tranquilo; hice ejercicio, cociné, salà a hacer unas diligencias de mi computadora (¿les conté que se daño? Pero afortunadamente Best Buy pudo sacarle toda la información... no perdà nada, que emoción!), y entre a Zara. Y Zara esta absolutamente lleno de crochet y encaje- todo espectaculares. Se que el outfit no es nada del otro mundo para el reto, les prometo que para el próximo no lo voy a dejar para última hora... y asà no tiene que ser un look casual y dominguero! FELIZ SEMANA!!

This is outfit is actually from last week- I forgot to post it with the whole disaster with my computer; right now it's on Best Buy, they are trying to recover all my info... and then I have to get the hard-drive fixed in apple (what a mission!). I don't even remember what we did that day, I guess it was for our weekly "romantic date". I built this look around the floral blouse with sheer sleeves from LOVE- I added a basic black skirt (which I wear all the time, check out the REMIX here), black wedges, and a pop of color with a pink bag! Este outfit es de la semana pasada, no lo habÃa puesto nada por todo lo del desastre de mi computadora. He tenido que usar la de Gabo y menos mal que no las habÃa borrado de la cámara. Ya ni me acuerdo que hicimos ese dÃa, se que fue el fin de semana y probablemente fue a nuestra "tÃpica cita semanal" de ir a comer . El look es bastante sencillo, definitivamente el protagonista es esta blusa de LOVE- con estampado floral en el medio, y las mangas son bastante transparentes. Mantuve el look simple con una falda negra extremadamente versátil (REMIX aquÃ), unas plataformas negras, y un poco de color en la cartera. Maybe you remember this peplum skirt from my brother's wedding in Chile a couple of months ago. I've been wanting to wear it again ever since-this time I paired it with a simple button down for a more casual look but I still added a pop of color with some orange pumps. At first I wanted to wear a colorful bag too but it look way too matchy-matchy, so a nude envelope clutch never fails. I wore this to one of my best friend's birthday, we had dinner at a cool japanese restaurant. I had so much fun catching up with my closest friends in miami! I hope you liked the look (and I'm so sorry if the lighting looks weird, these were taken around 8pm and it was extremely cloudy!) XOXO

Tal vez se acuerdan de esta falda peplum que usé para la boda de mi hermano en Chile hace unos meses, tenÃa tiempo queriendo volver a usarla pero de una forma más casual. Esta vez volvà a agregar el color naranja pero en los zapatos en vez de la camisa y mantuve el resto del outfit neutral y con accesorios delicados. Al principio querÃa usar una cartera de color naranja o la rosada pero se veia muy matchy-matchy (cuando algo se ve como MUY combinado); por eso preferà usar un clutch color nude. Utilicé esto para ir al cumpleaños de una de mis mejores amigas en Miami, fuimos a un restaurante y la pasamos buenÃsimo. TenÃa tiempo sin ver a varios de los amigos que estaban ahà y fue chevere actualizarnos. Espero que les haya gustado el look! y perdonen la claridad de las fotos, eran casi las 8 de la noche y no habÃa mucha luz. Besos y abrazos!!
