The weather in Miami has been pure perfection (well, it's been raining more than the usual...but temperature-wise!)...you only need a light jacket. That kind of reminds me of Miss Congeniality and the answer about the perfect "date"...totally random!
I wore this the past weekend to go have lunch with my parents- who were visiting from Venezuela- and then we dropped off Gabe at the airport because he was heading to Florence for an amazing opportunity at the event Firenze Forever...you have to check his IG @gabe_media for all the amazing pictures he took there!.
This is my last look with long hair!! I don't miss it one bit! Happy Weekend!!
El clima en Miami ha estado demasiado perfecto (bueno perfecto es una exageración porque ha estado lloviendo más de lo que deberÃa para ser invierno....pero me refiero en cuanto a la temperatura). Esta asà que solo se necesita una chaqueta ligera...eso me recuerda a la pelÃcula Miss SimpatÃa cuando le preguntan si "cita" perfecta que en ingles es lo mismo que "dÃa" perfecto...muy random esto jaja.
Este look lo utilicé el fin de semana pasado para ir a comer con mis papas- quiene estaban de visita - y luego nos fuimos a dejar a Gabo al aeropuerto porque se fue a Florencia unos dÃas a un evento increÃble llamado Firenze Forever. Pasen a ver sus fotos por allá en @gabe_media.
Este es mi último look con el cabello largo- tengo que admitir que no lo extraño. ¡Feliz fin de semana!
The reason why we were in California in September was because of a wedding...and Gabe was taking the photos. Since we were traveling to the other side of the country we decided to stay and road-trip around California. Here are the links to the rest of the posts from our trip:
The wedding was a dream...so them!! The backdrop for the ceremony were the Palm Springs mountains and everything had a bohemian vibe. I helped Gabe a little with the photos by taking some polaroids! The bride is also a blogger, check out her blog: Kar Gar Ohh Snap.
About my look: even though it was over 100 degrees F, I wanted to wear this gorgeous floral maxi skirt. It comes with a crop top but it didn't fit me (man, these boobs!!). So I wore this crop top I've had for years from Furor Moda and it was perfect!

Ok, yo les conté que estuvimos en California en Septiembre porque una amiga se estaba casando y Gaby iba a ser el fotógrafo de la boda.. Como el viaje al otro lado del paÃs era bastante decidimos aprovechar y pasar unos dÃas conociendo California. Aquà les dejo los enlaces a los otros artÃculos:
La boda fue un sueño, super Ãntima, y hermosa. El fondo de la ceremonia eran las montañas de Palm Springs... y todo tenÃa una vibra bohemia. Sobre mi look: me quise poner esta falda larga pero vaporosa que venÃa con un crop top que no me quedó ( inserte carita triste acá). Asà que use mi crop top negro favorito de Furor Moda- que honestamente lo he usado decenas de veces.

I love Puerto Rico…and I’m not saying this because I married a Puerto Rican. I remember the first time I stepped in “Old San Juan”, I was 16 and it was one of the stops of the cruise…and I even left my wallet at the place that claims to have created the piña colada.
Years later, I started dating Gaby and Puerto Rico became a yearly stop in our dynamic schedules. There’s is something so magical about Old San Juan…its picturesque colonial houses, its cobble stones streets…and its happy people.
For this trip, I brought less clothes than the usual…and instead I brought a versatile wardrobe that will work from travel to the beach and everything in between.
This skirt is part of a two-piece set- and I can wear it as separates too. This time I paired it with my favorite black crop top, and a wide brim fedora. Final touches? The versatile MZ Wallace Pippa bag and espadrilles.
This MZ Wallace bag works from day to night, and it has five interior compartments with an accordion design- which keeps me organized while letting me bring everything I need. Plus the Bedford nylon is very durable and water resistant…I also brought the MZ Wallace Metro tote for those days I want to switch outfits and take advantage of the gorgeous backdrops in Puerto Rico ….who says you have to compromise style when traveling?

A mi me encanta Puerto Rico.... y no lo digo porque me case con un boricua. Me acuerdo la primera vez que visité el Viejo San Juan...tenÃa 16 años y fue una de las primeras paradas del crucero que estábamos haciendo....también sin querer dejé mi billetera en un sitio que dice ser el que invento las piñas coladas.
Años después conocà a Gaby y empezamos a salir- por lo que Puerto Rico se convirtió en una parada casi anual. Hay algo tan mágico en esta ciudad....sus casitas coloniales, las calles de piedras, la gente amable <3
En esta ocasión traje menos ropa de lo normal...intenté traer piezas versátiles que funcionaran para todas nuestras aventuras. Esta falda es parte de un set de dos piezas; por lo que puedo usarla como camisa y top separados. Este dÃa lo quise usar con mi crop top favorito negro, y una sombreros de ala ancha. ¿Toque final? Esta cartera pequeña versátil MZ Wallace y unas alpargatas.
Este bolso MZ Wallace Pippa pasa del dÃa a la noche, tiene 5 compartimientos en la parte de adentro y un diseño de acordeón. Esto ayuda a que todo este ordenado y cabe todo lo que necesito. Aparte que el nylon resiste al agua y extremadamente duradero. También me traje el MZ Wallace Metro tote para esos dÃas que traigo más de un look...yo se que no soy la única fashion blogger que hace esto (hay que aprovechar cuando los paisajes son lindos!!). ¡Les mando un mega abrazo!!

As you can see the pics are from last month, but I couldn't show you the collection yet. I also ended up rewearing that outfit today for the official launch party of my collection with Melao. The party took place at Blush Miami and it was so much fun. Soon, I'll share all the pics from the event...but I couldn't wait to share the look. I'm obsessed with this blazer + short...well, I designed them... I should be obsessed haha. Sorry for the multiple "nanysklozetparamelao" posts but I'm very proud of the work we did. Oh and yes, that day I was with Anabelle of Viva Luxury- I absolutely adore her...we had a great time taking pics together! Have an amazing weekend ! XOXO

Como pueden ver estas fotos son de hace un tiempo, pero este outfit lo volvà a utilizar hoy de la misma manera para el lanzamiento oficial de mi colección para Melao en Miami. La fiesta fue en las tiendas Blush de Miami- pronto comparto con ustedes las fotos del evento como tal...pero primero querÃa mostrarles el outfit porque estoy enamorada del set (como no voy a estarlo si lo diseñe yo jaja). Se que he estado publicando mucho de mi colección y espero que no les moleste, estoy extra orgullosa del trabajo en equipo que hice con Melao.. y espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado. También querÃa contarles que la colección va a estar a la venta en Venezuela el martes que viene...asà que pendientes. Y como pueden ver, este dÃa estaba con Anabelle de Viva Luxury- ella les juro que es lo máximo, no tienen idea como disfrutamos juntas ¡¡¡ Les mando un abrazo inmenso!!

During New York Fashion Week, I had the opportunity to shop some of the things from the Peter Pilotto for Target before they were available to the public. This shirt was one of my favorites; I actually got it a size bigger...I like blouses to be comfy and a little bit oversized. Since the pieces had lots of colors and prints, I wrote an article called "How to wear the Peter Pilotto for Target collection?"..and I actually wore it exactly how I said I would there!! I've worn this look a couple of times already... something always happens and we forget to take the pics. I wore it for a shooting with Gabo and then on the road for Steffy's wedding. Durante la semana de la moda, tuve la oportunidad de comprar algunas cositas de Peter Pilotto antes de que salieran a la venta oficialmente. Esta camisa fue de mis piezas favoritas y la agarré en una talla más grande...pero me gusta asà no me queda tan apretadita.. Justamente la usé como les conté que la iba a usar en el artÃculo de "¿Cómo usar la colección de Peter Pilotto para Target"?; también me la imagino con unos pantalones de vestir para usar en el trabajo. Este look lo he utilizado varias veces; la primera vez para acompañar a Gabo durante una grabación... y después para viajar a la boda de Steffy- peor siempre pasaba algo y no podÃamos tomar las fotos. ¡FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!!
