MY BABY SHOWER..GOLD JUNGLE THEMED BABY SHOWER

Friday, April 13, 2018

Hi loves! Get ready for a crazy long post, but I wanted to share as much as possible about my baby shower. It was intimate: with my close friends from Miami, my parents, and Gabe's family. Everyone played such an important role during this shower, I felt so loved and I know this baby boy will be so spoiled!

Ready for Fall…with DENIZEN® from Levi’s® Jeans

Friday, September 8, 2017

This post was sponsored by DENIZEN® from Levi’s® jeans. All opinions are my own, outfits were 100% curated by me.

Jeans are everyone’s wardrobe staple. We wear them to run errands; we dress them up for dates; and when they are as comfortable as a pair of DENIZEN® from Levi’s® jeans, you are going to want to wear them everywhere…with everything.

Reason why, I want to show you that perfect pair to add to your denim collection and three easy foolproof ways you can style them this fall.

Today I’m wearing the DENIZEN® Modern Slim Jeans. They have a mid-rise that I find very comfortable for every day and works with many top styles. They have a slim leg opening and an ultra-soft super-stretchy premium denim that hugs your curves and keeps its shape all day. I also love that they come in short and long-lengths to flatter women of various body types (my shorty self is so excited that DENIZEN® jeans offers short lengths!). And I haven’t mentioned it BUT they are sold at Target for under $30!

Let’s do this:

1. DENIZEN + Dressy Top + Heels

If you are like me and live in a city where fall just seems to take FOREVER, you can start playing with textures, colors, and incorporating fall trends into transitional outfits. Here I paired the Modern Slim jeans with a tee that looks like it has a corset (big trend for fall), and the embroidered detail is still going strong this season. This look works for a meeting, a movie night, or happy hour with your girls.

2. DENIZEN + CHUNKY SWEATER + BOOTS

This is definitely my go-to fall outfit. It’s so easy but looks cute and put-together.  Here I cuffed the Modern Slim Jeans to show of the nude booties and I love that they look like a total different pair.  Like I said, don’t be afraid to play with different textures, like this bag that has a fluffy feel to it…very Autumn! This is perfect for pumpkin picking, a stroll down the park, running errands, or a coffee break with friends.

3. DENIZEN + OVER THE KNEE BOOTS + LAYERS

If, on the other hand, where you live is starting to get real cold real fast, this is my go to when I have to play with layers to stay a little extra warm. I added knee high boots over the jeans – (don’t they look super classy?), a striped sweater and a leather jacket.  Depending on the weather you can add a little hat…or an umbrella if it starts pouring!

WHICH OUTFIT IS YOUR FAVORITE?

Floral Romper from Day to Night- Jamaica

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

When you think of tropical vacations, you think of blue sky and even bluer sea. However, the Caribbean loves a good thunderstorm and we couldn't avoid it one day!

But that didn't stop me from getting in the pool in between rain showers! That day I was wearing this cute floral romper  with the criss-cross cleavage ! My fave thing about rompers is how easy you can dress them up or down!  They are perfect beach wardrobe with flip-flops and a hat; and then at night I added booties and a gorgeous bag- someone was ready for dinner!

For my hair, I was impressed about how much it was behaving in the humidity. For the dinner time I just curled with an curling iron a few pieces on the top and I feel it looked great (well, considering!).

Have an amazing day loves!

¡FELIZ DIA!

More Roses...Less Guns

Friday, April 28, 2017

Ok I know, this shirt isn't the Guns and Roses tee, but it was definitely inspired by it.

I'm honestly loving dressing a little edgier. You all know that this is a style I've loved for years and years. I like playing around with boho and romantic styles..but this is when I feel the most me.

The past month has been about finding myself again, about making new goals, and starting over. Again, something happened that I will share soon. But sometimes life just puts things into perspective and maybe that's exactly what I needed.

I've been focusing a lot on the blog. I have not been updating it every day but I've done a few articles that are full content (5 looks in one article, a day to night, etc). Just bear with me...I'm almost ready to share my experience!

Again, love you all and thanks for your love!

Honestamente, me encanta vestirme medio edgy.

Life is Beautiful 2016...with Zappos and Dolce Vita

Sunday, October 2, 2016

Last week I spent the weekend in Vegas with Zappos for a fun music festival called Life is Beautiful.

We took an early flight on Friday, we picked up our tickets, changed and ran to the festival. The first day I was wearing a flow burgundy dress, with a double buckle belt, and my nude Dolce Vita booties. These Dolce Vita booties go with absolutely anything- they are very comfortable so I also wore them on the plane with jeans and then with all my fun festival outfits.

Key Style Icon....with Zappos

Saturday, September 17, 2016

I'm so excited to be collaborating as a key style icon with Zappos for several weeks.

Zappos has become one of my favorite sites to find absolutely everything I need...from the cutest fall booties to my fave designer bags and everything in between.

By the end of the month, I'm going with Zappos to Las Vegas for Life Is Beautiful Festival so I ordered some festival-focused items: hello perfect nude Dolce Vita booties, and that burgundy bag! I was saving them for the festival but the shipping was so fast and the items were so cute I had to wear them as soon as I opened the box....but I already have some ideas to revamp this dress and wear it again in Las Vegas.

You all know I love dressing bohemian (it's one of my fashion alter egos), so as soon as I hear festival my style goes into boho chic mode.

Here are my fashion essentials for festivals:
- Flowy dresses with earthy colors.
- Wide Brim Hats
- Round sunglasses
- Fringe in at least one item.
- Comfortable booties where you can dance all day.

What are your essentials for festivals? XOXO

ABRAZOS!

BLOGGER COPYCAT: inspired by Walk in Wonderland

Friday, March 4, 2016

When I discovered the blogging industry, I would recreate many looks from bloggers...I always felt so inspired. As the industry changed and it became so competitive, getting inspired by another blogger became like a weakness...like people would judge you with a " you couldn't come up with your look by yourself, ha"...and I have to say I don't like that.

I even know some close friends who stopped following a lot of people because they didn't want their style to be "influenced" by anybody. I understand staying true to yourself, and that's very important...but I think inspiration is everywhere- and I love giving credit where credit is due (and I honestly love when a reader or blogger tells me they recreated or got inspired by one of my looks).

Talking about credit, we can say I "stole" this look from Sheryl, who writes a Walk in Wonderland. I met Sheryl in San Francisco a couple of years ago since we were doing the same campaign for Nordstrom Rack. We instantly clicked and I'm obsessed with her style, I think she is the jean-queen.

I got this faux-suede jacket a couple of weeks ago and I wore it with an all-black ensemble...they I saw Sheryl wear it with basic jeans and a white top and I instantly wanted to recreate it (I even commented it on her IG). I owned all the pieces, it's not like I went and bought it to "steal her look"...

And that should be the magic of blogging: relating to someone and thinking wow I love it, let me recreate it and give it my own touch  <3

Autumn in the air

Sunday, October 11, 2015

Two weeks ago I attended a fall fashion show at Macys- so of course, I headed to my local Macys to find a fall look to wear to the show.  I found this cute floral dress that I could easily layer underneath a furry white vest. Final touches to bring the autumn feel: nude boots and a burgundy hat.  I know that my Miami girls are going to tell me that I'm crazy to wear this with our high temperatures, but I also want to give fall ideas to the girls up north....plus if you take out the vest, this look is still wearable in Miami.

Hope you are having an amazing weekend!

_____

White for Swim Week 2015...

Thursday, July 23, 2015

Every year...around the 3rd week of July is Swim Week. This year was a little different because the main sponsor, IMG, decided to not be part of the main event...leaving everyone confused. Many people even cancelled their trips because they thought it wasn't happening or that it was going to be a mess...the second part was a little true, it was messier than previous years. The problem? Many shows were at the same time AND on different locations...which made it impossible to attend many things (specially when you add the Miami traffic into the equation). I personally attended few shows for many reasons...as many of you already know I'm shy and running around trying to attend 5 shows per hour is...well I'll leave that for the extroverted kind (nothing bad about it!). I just prefer to stay in one event and have actual conversations with bloggers that are now actual friends! I wore this the first day, I went to an event for Sol De Janeiro ( a super cool Brazilian brand that I will tell you more later), to the Wildfox presentation, and then to have dinner with Kelly Saks and Flor de Maria. We all had a blast together!

For my outfit, since it was so hot and all events are mostly outdoors, I went for light combos. This romper is from a Miami boutique called OHM...very cool and very bohemian. To dress it up I added some high heels, my baby Chanel, and a dark lipstick!

Let me know what you think! XOXO

_________

MUCHOS BESOS!!!

Suede Skirt and Off-The-Shoulder

Tuesday, July 21, 2015

Oh well, I've had this look for more than a month...like come on Daniela, get it together! The thing was that I was wearing this shirt non-stop...literally in and out of the washer. The good news, it has been already three times on the blog so HELLO REMIX! I wore this for a lunch with M.A.C cosmetics and a group of Miami bloggers.

Just wanted to remind you that I'm on Snapchat as Danidaniramirez but get ready for more pics of Chiki than my own <3 <3 XOXO

_____

¡MIL ABRAZOS!

All your rules...

Sunday, May 24, 2015

Hey everyone! How are you? I'm going to start doing something new… a 5 random things on Sundays and I hope you all share at least something random that's going on your lives.

1. We have been changing all the furniture in our apartment. Our apartment is really small,  I think it's the size of one of those "office closets" the bloggers do tours on. Now our bed has storage, our dresser has 8 drawers instead of 6…we changed the sofa for a sofa bed (which actually has storage too underneath!!). So now it fits two people, a dog, and all my clothes (insert the emoji of the monkey with its hands on its eyes!)
2. I finished grad school on March but I'm doing the ceremony on June. Honestly,  I don't feel like walking again… it's all for the parents, right?
3. I'm going to a music festival called Bonnaroo…have you head of it? I'm super excited, I'm going with a group of bloggers and I'm already planning my looks.
4. Well, I always say this but I want to do more celebrity inspired looks…all the ones that are regrettable are Kardashian/Jenner… and I honestly don't want to do them so often (actually, there's a Kendall Jenner one coming soon…but I did it a couple of weeks ago!)
5. I've been reading the book "gone Girl". I already watched the movie but I love getting to really know the character. Are you more of a book or movie girl?

XOXO!

____

¡Hola!!

BESOS!!

Silver sneakers..

miami fashion blogger, fashion blogger, nany's klozet, daniela ramirez

When I went to NYC, I stopped at Dolce Vita's showroom for a fun brunch where we also got to pick a couple of shoes. I got these silver sneakers, I thought they were so much fun and they add a touch of coolness to the simplest look. Right now I'm in Los Angeles for a Latina blogger conference called WeAllGrow…the vibe is amazing, everywhere is so sweet! I'll tell you more about it soon! BTW I've been sharing more on Snapchat (Danidaniramirez) and twitter (@nanysklozet). XOXO

______________

¡BESOS!

Spain, day 6: GRANADA!

Tuesday, July 2, 2013

SPIN GALLERY asymmetrical dress
SPIN GALLERY fedora
SHEINSIDE white vest
DV by DOLCE VITA nude booties
REBECCA MINKOFF bag

After a full day in Sevilla- we decided to stop by Granada before going back to Madrid (and sadly get ready to return home)- it was around 6 hours driving, but it was completely worth it. I feel like every city that I visited was completely different than the previous one. The cool part about this one was the huge Islamic influence on the architecture, culture and food (now I really want to go to Morroco). Mainly we were at the "Alhambra"- which was a palace, fortress and gardens -check out a little more about it here. After walking A LOT in the crazy heat, we stopped to eat at an arabic restaurant- different from the Spanish food..but so yummy.

Many of you might already know that Google Friend Connect is not working any more- if you followed me there, I'd love for you to follow my blog via bloglovin. XOXO

__________
