“I want ______” with Sephora Collection

Monday, October 3, 2016

Finishing the phrase “I want ____” is extremely hard for me.
I want to get out of my comfort zone.
I want to travel the world.
I want to continue dreaming big and reaching my goals.
I want to express who I am through fashion and beauty

I always talk that we should forget about the superficial side of fashion and makeup…it should be fun, it should be a way to express how you feel and you should always change it up.

GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!

Buy a new bold lipstick, a glittery eyeshadow, or try false eyelashes for a special night out.

Today I’m partnering with Sephora Collection and trying out many products of their line that I absolutely loved— the quality is incredible, so is the price point ! I really loved the final look and I’m going to teach out how to get it…shall we?

Over the years, I have done many foundation, contouring and brow tutorials…so let’s skip ahead to the fun part: EYES & LIPS!

EYES

- I started using Sephora Collection Colorful Liner & Shadow in Beige  all over my lid.   The creamy texture and its color, makes this crayon the perfect base for any eye makeup.  I focused the product on the center of the eyelid and then with my fingers, I blended it up until my eyebrow.

- Using the “Colorful Eyeshadow”
in Hollywood Calling, I dab this eyeshadow with a glitter finish into the outer V of the eye and took it a little bit further into the crease and the middle eyelid. This brown color is such a great shade for all skin colors; and it’s shiny without being overwhelming or over the top.  Using a small angle brush, I applied this brown shimmery eyeshadow into the lower lash line too.

-  To create an ombré blended effect, I applied the "Sephora Collection Colorful Shadow & Liner in Brown  Shimmer on the inner eyelid and corner (to highlight). Since this crayon is very creamy,  I also dab a little bit of the “Colorful Eyeshadow in Pailetté to seal it.

- To add more dimension and depth to the eye, I added ”Sephora Collection Colorful Shadow & Liner”
in the most gorgeous metallic green shimmer onto my crease.  This adds a touch of color while darkening the brown previously added… but it’s still very neutral and versatile.

- To make my eyes look a little bigger, I added the same matte crayon in the waterline; and a little bit of black eyeliner into the lower lashline and upper lash line.

- To finish the look I’m going to add false eyelashes and black liquid eyeliner. I used the “Classic Line 24HR Felt Eyeliner”. The tip is very precise and highly pigmented…very easy to apply. It’s smudge proof but still easy to remove before going to sleep.

-For lashes, I was in between the Celebrity Lashes and the Push. I went for the Celebrity Lashes because they look very natural, I didn’t have to cut them and they come with a small clear glue that wasn’t sticky and it dried out fast. I blended my lashes with the falsies using mascara for a natural effect.

LIPS

At first I wasn’t sure what I was wearing; so I went with a gorgeous nude: Rouge Cream- 21 Ingenious.  But I love a good old vibrant balm. I started swatching the Rouge Balm SPF 20 collection. This balmy lipstick with a gel formula  comes in 8 colors and it hydrates and protects lips with an SPF20. I loved the color 06 Soft Red…and it felt like the perfect final touch to the look.

I rarely wear false eyelashes..so this was definitely out of my comfort zone! How do you get out of your comfort zone?  XOXO
