Chicago's SKYDECK

Saturday, January 23, 2016

These pictures should have been on yesterday's post. However, the experience was really fun and I decided to make them two.  Check out my look with a coat, gloves, and all those crazy layers.

We starting checking online about things to do that were indoors. This was the coldest day of all (at 5 degrees F). A venezuelan friend who used to live in Chicago, Soraya from Chic Flavours, recommended we headed that way.

The tickets are usually $22 per person but we used an app called "Popular Pays"- which is great for bloggers and ifnluencers. You can get paid sigs but there is a section on local business where they offer food/drinks/attractions in exchange of a shout-out in social media. It's crazy how the social media world has changed everything...and they don't ask for a crazy amount of followers (500 for coffee, for example). Going back to my point, we did this at Skydeck...we knew either way we were going to post a picture at it so might as well take advantage of the app. **This is in no way sponsored, I just wanted to share it**

The building is called "Willis Tower" and it is the second tallest building in North America. You get to see the beautiful city from the 103th floor. They also added some cool glass boxes so you can step out and look down (definitely scary for those who are afraid of heights...there was a lady that went in was hilariously cute!)

Hope you like the pictures! XOXO
