3 ways to style your favorite white tee & your favorite bra.

Thursday, August 17, 2017

I absolutely love partnering with Hanes for their #BeComfydent campaign because I truly believe that you can achieve anything when you are confident + comfortable.  Your attitude changes, your looks shine even more, now the confidence comes from within (literally and figuratively!!).

Today I’m really excited to go back to my roots and do a little REMIX with probably the most versatile piece of clothing a woman can own: a white shirt. My go-to for ultra-light cotton tee is the Hanes Nano-T® Crew Neck.  I love the sleek fit, it’s very flattering in all silhouettes!  I always get it in size Medium because I like a little of an oversized fit.

However, even the softest shirt needs the perfect bra- together it’s a super power duo of COMFYDENCE! I’m always looking for support, shape, and comfort. So let me share my favorite:The Ultimate Perfect Coverage ComfortFlex Fit Wirefree Bra. I have it in black and nude- but I find myself wearing the nude more often, especially with my favorite white tee.

Let’s get started!

Summer Festival Ready in Rompers..with Kelly Saks

Sunday, August 13, 2017

kelly saks, miami fashion blogger, summer festival, romper, striped romper, coach boots, rose tinted glasses, best miami bloggers, fashion,

Ok, this was supposed to be a "10 Questions with...Kelly Saks"; but Kelly has been so busy I think she forgot about me *haha just kidding, love you Kelly!. So I guess this means we have to shoot together again. Well, this was her shoot and I kinda photobombed her for 5 minutes because I wanted a little shoot together.

We wore this to go to the Backstreet Boys concert a few months ago. Because
When Kelly invites you to go see them, you say YESSS💃🏽 I saw them in 2001 and I swear I felt like a little girl again🤣 ...they are still amaaazing!  Miley Cyrus and her sister also also performed, they are both incredible LIVE!  But back to BSB talk...who was your favorite??🙈🙈💓💓

My Go-to Brunch Outfit

Friday, August 11, 2017

plaid dress, clogs, tuckernuck, straw hat, boater hat, rafia bag, statement earrings, hm

Before the "Clásico" game, the Shopstyle team took us to brunch at the Miami Edition. Many girls came from out of town, and it was so nice seeing everyone.  Gabe was the official photographer of the day and he had one on one times with all the bloggers-which I know he enjoys. I obviously got my one on one too and we had a blast shooting around the beautiful property.

I thought this was the MOST brunch-ish outfit ever: the plaid, the off the shoulder, the statement earrings, the rafia details- I LOVE IT!

Hope you like the pics and they inspire you to wear something similar for your next brunch!

¡Espero inspirarlas a usar algo similar!

El Clásico in Miami - Real Madrid vs Barça

Wednesday, August 9, 2017

This post is not the typical fashion blogger post- but I miss sharing about me and my day to day. And honestly, you can see how sticky I was. It was so so so freaking hot that day.

Almost two weeks ago, I attended "El Clásico" game with Shopstyle and a super duper incredible group of lifestyle bloggers all over the country.  It was such an amazing experience and all my soccer fan friends were extremely jelly.

I don't follow soccer but it is a sport that I understand, grew watching in Venezuela, and loved experiencing it LIVE!

My favorite thing was watching people's reactions to goals or fouls , everyone is so passionate and the energy is just INCREDIBLE.

We all were gifted shirts from Barça (crazy Real Madrid fans, don't get crazy...I was just a fan of the fun)- the shirts had our last names in the back (such a cool detail). Thanks again Shopstyle for a fantastic day!!

DENIZEN® From Levi’s® Jeans Take Over JAMAICA

Monday, August 7, 2017

As I shared last season, I’m part of the Denizen® from Levi’s® jeans Style Council (so exciting!!), and I love seeing how the other girls are wearing these incredible jeans. It’s true, they DO flatter and fit women of various body types amazingly… plus, because of the affordable price-point (they’re available at Target) you can express your style while staying on budget!

I recently took a trip to Jamaica with my husband…and besides my swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen, my DENIZEN jeans had to come with me. I brought the Modern Shorts for daytime outings, the Modern Cropped Flare for a dinner night and the Modern Ankle Skinny for traveling.

Let me show you how I styled them in Jamaica.

Not So Perfect, So WHAT?

Friday, August 4, 2017

When I started blogging, there was a group of people who called lifestyle bloggers "ego-bloggers" and I absolutely HATED the term.

I didn't, and I still don't, share my outfits to get compliments.

When you go to any blogger's comment section, they are filled with "so pretty" "OMG perfect"and "#goals" - and yes, I'm guilty of leaving these comments too.

But a big part of me is tired of saying "thank you". Because I am not perfect, I'm full of flaws, my life is not goals. So why am I still part of the "superficial ego-blogging" community? Because I want to inspire you to wear that top differently, to not be afraid to try a new trend,  to not be afraid to be YOU.

At the beginning I thought my focus had to be only fashion and opening myself was scary because of the harsh criticism of the internet. But no, I want to encourage fellow bloggers to write more things from the heart, to avoid captions like "today's #ootd"; tell me your story, share your experiences, the good, the bad, the ugly- this is what blogging is about. And as a reader, I want you guys to read, to be more than a "oh-so-pretty" commenter, to share with bloggers your experiences, your thoughts, your critiques. Let's make this a community again!

I designed a choker for Taudrey . Say Hello to Merida Choker

Wednesday, August 2, 2017

Ahhhh today I have some super exciting news! ✨✨💓💓 As you can see in the title: I designed a CHOKER!!

For a couple of months, I've been working with Taudreyt o bring to life my DREAM CHOKER! And it's finally here!

I wanted a delicate choker that can be easily dressed up or down. And I have to say it: it's so gorgeous! It looks so pretty by itself or with other dainty necklaces (all the necklaces I'm wearing here are also from Taudrey- as you can see, I've been a fan for SO long)!

You can customize the petite coin with your initials, a moon, or a star!

Inspired by the city where my family is from in Venezuela, Merida,  this stunner presents a statement in a delicate and dainty manner. And boasting a celestial theme, the gold choker is a stylish reminder to shoot for the moon.

Hope you girls love it as much as I do!
