The other day I was talking with my blogger friend Steffy about how to keep the blog fresh (meaning that we don't want to bore out readers) while keeping our signature style. Reason why I wanted to try more of a "rocker" look while still being ME. If you saw my wish list for March, you know I've been looking for an 80s band shirt like crazy- and I finally found it... at Target (at the men's section, it's a size small!). I paired with this amazing pleated "leather"skirt and my favorite ankle booties. My day started doing a final project for my "trends" class, I swear my living room was full of magazine cut-outs! After that, my boyfriend picked me up to have sushi (if you live in Miami, I totally recommend this place. It's called Sushi Café and they have the best chicken sushi ever). Then we headed to the mall because my bf was looking for a pair of black jeans and I want a hat that I couldn't find. At Forever 21, a girl came to say hi and tell me that she reads my blog (such a great feeling!). I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO

El otro dÃa estaba hablando con mi amiga bloggera Steffy sobre como mantener el blog fresco ( es decir, no aburrir a las lectoras) pero manteniendo nuestro estilo. Razón por la cual quise intentar un look más "roquero" pero que todavÃa siga siendo "YO". TenÃa desde el mes pasado buscando una camisa tipo de bandas de los 80s (se acuerdan de mi lista de compras de marzo?)- y finalmente la encontré en Target... pero en el departamento de hombres (si! de hombres!). La combiné con mi falda de pliegues de cuero y mis botines de taches. Mi dÃa empezó haciendo un mega proyecto para la clase de "Tendencias de moda"- les juro que toda mi sala estaba llena de recortes de revistas. Luego fui a comer sushi con mi novio (Si viven en Miami, les recomiendo el sitio; se llama Sushi Café y tienen el mejor sushi de pollo de todo el mundo!). Después nos fuimos al mall porque mi novio estaba buscando unos jeans y yo querÃa un sombrero- pero nada que lo conseguÃ. En Forever 21 me encontré con una lectora que me saludo, de verdad que no tiene precio- me ha pasado un par de veces y les juro que quedo con una sonrisa todo el dÃa. Un abrazo a todas! Hey everyone! How are you? Today's outfit is part of a collaboration with Lamb & Flag & Lookbook.nu- as soon as I saw these pieces on the website, I was like.. PASTEL COLORBLOCKING (two big trends this season!). By chance, my new Le Bunny Bleu flats are the exact same color than the pants- and even though I hate being too matchy matchy... I had to wear them! (these are my second Le Bunny Bleu pair, and I swear, they are the most comfortable flats I own). Since I wore this outfit to the university, I kept the accessories very simple. I had a final presentation for my advertising class, I think I did good! This pictures were taken underneath a bridge since it was raining like crazy- I don't know if you can see how diagonal the "floor" was (but it was kind of hard standing there lol). Hola a todas! ¿Cómo están? El outfit de hoy es parte de una colaboración con Lamb & Flag y Lookbook.nu- y apenas vi estos jeans/top en el website pensé.... bloques de colores pasteles! Tanto los bloques de color como los colores pasteles son grandes tendencias esta temporada, y me encanta como se ven juntos! De casualidad mis nuevos flats de Le Bunny Bleu son del MISMO color que los pantalones, asà que tuve que usarlos juntos (este par es mi segundo de Le Bunny Bleu, y les juro que son los zapatitos más cómodos que tengo!). También la camisa tiene un detallito lindÃsimo en la espalda, como van a poder ver abajo. Ya que este outfit lo utilicé para ir a la universidad el miércoles, mantuve los accesorios al mÃnimo. Tuve una presentación en la clase de publicidad y creo que me fue buenÃsimo. Estas fotos las tomamos debajo de un puente porque estaba lloviendo - y fue comiquÃsimo porque yo estaba parada en una parte súper inclinada! Espero que les guste el outfit, cuéntenme que piensan de estos colores! Ya tengo mil ideas para este pantalón, creo que no me lo voy a quitar! Un abrazo!

Remember the polka dot skirt I wore last week? That day I was between wearing that skirt, or these shorts- I actually love how different both looks are even though just one piece changed. I also want to do a remix with these shorts so I wanted to wear them more, this time I paired them with another bright/strong color for some fun color blocking (still big this season). I kept the accessories black and simple so they wouldn't clash with the clothing. I wore this outfit with flats to have lunch with my boyfriend and his little sister and then, I swapped to heels for a movie night! What do you think of this color combo? Hope you liked it! XOXO

¿Se acuerdan del look de la falda de puntitos hace unos dÃas? Ese dÃa me cambié un par de veces y estaba entre la falda de lunares o este short azul para un poco de color-block. Me parece que aunque el look es casi idéntico, se ve completamente diferente . Quiero hacer un remix con este shorts y esta ya es la tercera vez que lo ven en el blog, en esta ocasión lo quise combinar con otro color fuerte para ese contraste tÃpico de los bloques de color - y mantuve los accesorios negros/sencillos para que no chocaran. Este outfit lo utilicé para ir a comer con mi novio y su hermanita en el Design District durante el dÃa con unos flats negros, y en la noche para ir al cine con mi novio en tacones. ¿Qué les parece esta combinación de colores? I think you can tell that I'm OBSESSED with Olivia's style- I love all of her looks, I'm always saving them in my computer for future inspiration (and if I have similar the pieces, why not a fun celebrity inspired look). I love the casual but polished feeling of this outfit, even though she is even wearing sneakers! My head-to-toe look costs less than $235 ( and that's even counting the ring and bracelet, see details at the end of the post)- while JUST Olivia's bag costs approximately $12,500! Today was a friend's birthday and we were having a bbq- it was supposed to be at his girlfriend's place but there was a slight change of plans and we ended at a park besides the beach. The change of plans caught me off guard and I swear I was the only one wearing pants (but I don't regret it, it was very windy!), and that didn't stop me from running around the beach either! Later at night, a couple of friends stopped by my house because they are doing a project on fashion bloggers and they wanted to ask me some questions! I hope you liked the look ! XOXO

Creo que se han dado cuenta lo mucho que me encanta el estilo de Olivia Palermo, considero que se ve impecable TODO el tiempo. Razón por la que me pa paso guardado fotos de ella como inspiración- de este outfit me gusta muchÃsimo lo casual que es (hasta incluye zapatos de goma/tenis)- y ya que tenÃa piezas idénticas/similares en mi closet lo quise "copiar".. pero como siempre a un precio más accesible. Mi look completo no pasa los $235 (contando hasta el anillo), mientras que su cartera Hermés cuesta un apróximado de $12,500. Hoy era el cumpleaños de un amigo, y se suponÃa que era en casa de su novia- pero terminó siendo en un parque al lado de la playa. El cambio de planes me agarró desprevenida y yo era la única en pantalones, pero eso no fue un impedimento para que terminara en la arena corriendo - menos mal que hacÃa tanto viento que no se sentÃa calor (y sin el blazer me veÃa más casual). Luego en la nochecita vinieron unos amigos de la universidad a la casa ya que están haciendo un proyecto de bloggers y querÃan entrevistarme! Espero que les haya gustado el look. FELIZ SEMANA!
When I ordered this skirt from Romwe last month, I actually thought it was yellow instead of mustard ( I didn't own anything mustard because I think it makes me look greenish lol.) I wanted to pair it with the 2020ave top just because I can't get enough of it- and with a snake-print little bag from Remi&Emmy! I also wanted to show you a little ring as a sneak peek of the next giveaway (which will also include a necklace). I know, so many giveaways this moth.. how exciting! My day was a little boring- I went to my boyfriend's house because he needed to help get things packed (they are remodeling the house)... so I've been doing some projects! Cuando pedà esta falda en Romwe el mes pasado, pensé que era amarilla- cuando llegó, me decepcioné un poquito porque era totalmente "mostaza" (y no se porque considero que el mostaza me hace ver como verdosa; pero como no era camisa sino falda, no se nota). Quise combinarla como esta camisa de 2020ave que vieron en el reto de pasteles por la simple razón de que me encanta. También querÃa mostrarles el anillo que estoy usando (que vino con un collar igualito), porque va a ser parte de la próxima rifa (si!, muchas rifas este mes... que mejor forma de agradecerles por todo el apoyo!). Finalmente les querÃa mostrar esta hermosura de cartera, es de la marca Remi&Emmy - y me fascina el estampado de culebra que tiene, aparte que el tamaño es perfecto para lo que más necesitas en tu cartera. Mi dÃa fue bastante tranquilo, he estado con la familia de mi novio porque están remodelando el apartamente- asà que aprovechando para hacer unos trabajos de la unÃ! Les tengo que mostrar mi vitrina final, ya está agarrando forma! Ayer pasé todo el dÃa en la unà trabajando en eso (pero la idea era estar cómoda, asà que no valÃa la pena tomarle fotos a ese outfit!). Espero que estén disfrutan su fin de semana! Un abrazo!
